I Prayed have prayed
Father God, pour out Your Holy Spirit on us so that Christians turn to You in true repentance. Have mercy on us and help us.
Reading Time: 5 minutes

From about November of 2019, until February of 2020, many were prophesying what 2020 would be like. 90% of the predictions tagged 2020 as a year of amazing prosperity, breakthrough, and revival.

You may remember how—based on a decades-old ‘prophetic word’—national revival was supposed to come on the heels of the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl.  Instead of revival, we got a pandemic. Instead of prosperity, we got massive unemployment and the fastest destruction of an economy in history. Instead of a breakthrough, we got a lockdown. Instead of churches thriving, they were totally empty. Instead of righteousness flowing like a river, the worst demonstrations since the 1960s tore our nation apart, after a heinous murder ignited rage, fear, and deep division.

Here is an excerpt from a blog I wrote on November 9th, 2019, entitled THE OUTWARDLY SUCCESSFUL CHURCH ISN’T STOPPING OUR IMPENDING NATIONAL DISASTER: “Why does the American Church think she is successful?  Her outward success hasn’t even tapped the brakes of our impending national disaster.  I wish I could say we had stopped the flood of filth and addiction.  I’d even be happy if I could say we had slowed the flood.  But no, as the flood rises, we take pride in how well we can keep people safe and dry in artificial arks of glass and stainless steel.  We celebrate things that are utterly irrelevant in the disaster that is even now at the door.” You can read the rest of that blog here:

https://wp.me/p1vrzp-6JF

The first cases of coronavirus began only weeks after the Holy Spirit ordered me to predict national disaster. But those who rebuked the church, including myself, were rejected for not joining the chorus with those who were singing the praises of 2020.

Don’t you wish you had heard something from your pulpit that could have warned and prepared you for what we are facing right now? Those voices were drowned out by a spirit in the Body of Christ that—even after all we have been through for 6 months now—still wants to hear a giddy message of false hope.

Jeremiah called out the false prophets who refused to believe Babylon would invade Judah. They were prophesying that Babylon, not Judah, would fall, and in less than two years, but Jeremiah declared that Judah would fall and enter a 70 year-long captivity. That captivity came, and some of those false prophets were taken to Babylon. And you know what?  Fantastically, even in chains, they insisted on saying that it would soon be over. They continued to lie, even in the face of the absolute proof they were liars. . . .

Read Jeremiah 38 and you will see something chilling. There was one clear difference between the true prophet and the false ones: The false prophets never called for repentance. That is how you can tell the real from the false preachers right now—if they are not proclaiming national repentance, run the other way!

I said all that, because once again, I must make a prediction and issue a warning.  Some will be offended by what I am going to say next: The worst part of the storm is almost upon us. In the next few weeks, you will see a tidal wave of rioting, persecution, censorship, and crime. The evil that is going to be spoken and done against Christians, President Trump, the forces of law and order, and any patriot who dares to take a stand for America, will be unlike anything you have seen so far. Hell itself will be unleashed, in order to crush freedom in our nation. . . .

The next few weeks will embody 2 Timothy 3:1-5, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” . . .

Here is my warning from the Lord: The church must be the first to turn from her wicked ways. The church must preach repentance, the Cross, the Blood and passionately seek a fresh out-pouring of the Holy Spirit. Preachers must cast off all pretense of trying to save their jobs. They must preach with such force that they pierce hearts and drive home the gravity of the situation, and clearly proclaim what the true stakes of this moment are.

Someone asked me if the Lord had shown me that Trump would win a second term. I told them, “No, He has not.” I told them what I am telling you now, that the single greatest threat to Trump’s reelection is the hesitancy of preachers to rally their people to vote. It boggles my mind that this is still possible! But it is symptomatic of the deep deception that characterizes this hour.

Just as dark and impossible as it may seem, just as vile as this moment appears, there is still a miracle waiting in the wings. Our God—our awesome God—our God Who comes out of nowhere, is sending a clear and undeniable signal to a remnant. They have already been tried in the fire, and now they will come forth like gold. Look for nobodies to get battlefield promotions and raise up armies of righteousness.

At this moment Satan is trembling with fear at the thought of their appearing. At this hour the devil shivers before the inevitable return of new lions—warriors with tongues of fire, healing in their hands and irresistible words of Life. They are coming. Oh, yes, they are!

As Nehemiah recalled: “Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their oppressors who oppressed them, but when they cried to You in the time of their distress, You heard from heaven, and according to Your great compassion You gave them deliverers who delivered them from the hand of their oppressors.” (Nehemiah 9:27)

Let the lukewarm believer collapse before God in conviction. Let the hidden warrior take heart that God is about to force the situation in your favor. The difference between true vessels of God and hirelings is about to become extremely clear and undeniable.

I beseech you, before God: heed this warning and believe the promises!

For over 25 years I have grieved and prayed about the direction the church and nation has gone, allowing such wickedness, gross immorality, corruption, depravity and sexual perversions to become so accepted in our culture. I have been praying Joel 2:12-18 and most of Daniel 9, for that length of time, asking the Lord to raise up a mighty army of prayer warriors to stand in the gap, confessing our sin as a nation and a people. I know God always keeps a righteous remnant, and strongly believe that remnant is faithfully praying. Based on the history of the great awakenings that have happened in the past, conditions are almost always very dire just before the awakenings happened, but they always require much prayer from God’s people.I continue to have hope, in spite of how dark it seems, that if we will continue to pray in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7:14, the Lord will hear and bring one more great awakening before He comes again, because we know he wants many people to be saved. We need to continue to pray for more and more people to join in these prayers of repentance and asking for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit, greater than anything that’s ever happened before.

“Even now,” says the LORD,
“Turn and come to Me with all your heart [in genuine repentance],
With fasting and weeping and mourning [until every barrier is removed and the broken fellowship is restored];
Rip your heart to pieces [in sorrow and contrition] and not your garments.”
Now return [in repentance] to the LORD your God,
For He is gracious and compassionate,
Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness [faithful to His covenant with His people];
And He relents [His sentence of] evil [when His people genuinely repent].
Joel 2:12,13 (AMP)

Thnk you for this Word.
I have bern led back again and again to Ezekiel 20 and 33:3. You have given flesh and breath to the bones I’ve been seeing put together.
The last church I was in, the Lord led me out three years ago. The Holy Spirit wasn’t acknowledged. Finally, even Jesus wasn’t welcome.

The Lord reminded me again: a nation that sells its people is a vile stench that is so overpowering its defiling the very atmosphere.

HE says, “Lean on ME. Do NOT trust in your own understanding.” Amen. Thanks again for Standing.

Incredible word from a true man of God. Now is not the time nor is any for that matter to be apathetic, indifferent, or complacent. This is an all out war, and it is high time for God’s warriors to stand up in battle and fight the good fight. People are dying and going to hell and don’t even know it, including some who are deceived into thinking they are saved, but their hearts are far from God.

This is America’s final stand, and we cannot let this great nation that was raised up by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob self-destruct before our eyes and become a wasteland. We have a responsibility to preserve all that is good and just. We have failed to be good stewards of our country and insure each generation carries the values we adhere to into the next. We as Christians have allowed busy (being under Satan’s yoke) and the distractions of life to lull us asleep at the wheel. We must repent, we laid our weapons down and allowed the enemy to take territory to the point where we are in jeopardy of losing our country.

Enough is enough. It is time to reclaim The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA for the Lord Jesus Christ; the spoils of war are ours!

I am so glad to finally hear a call for repentance. Jesus warned us that in the last days there would be those who marched on celebrating life as if nothing was amiss. We see where Israel did it in Jeremiah’s day and they threw him in a pit and went on their merry way until the day they were captured. The writing has been on our wall for years and if the church can’t repent for being lukewarm, how can we expect a great revival? If we won’t pray and we won’t vote from where do we expect change to come? Satan is ravishing our country right now but as long as my house is safe and my grocery store—why worry? This attitude will be our undoing. Where are the watchmen on the walls? We should all be praying Daniel’s prayer in Daniel chapter 9. Perhaps some sackcloth and ashes are in order too as well as sobriety and ‘no pleasant bread’. We need for God to heed our humble prayers of repentance but God help us if we don’t pray those prayers soon! After years of hearing only the sweet and gentle words from scriptures I worry that American christians have no stomach for correction. It doesn’t seem to correspond to their vision of God as all love and all grace. God help us! Those warnings and stories of the captivity of Israel are there for our instruction! Lord Jesus have mercy on the church. We need to fill our lamps with the oil of the Holy Spirit now the bridegroom returns suddenly and we are unprepared.

Thank you heavenly Father that judgement begins in the house of God. We have sinned as a nation and we repent for not caring enough of those that were lost. We have been waiting for You to take control of this situation, when You have been asking us to stop muddying the waters of Your Word with our feet and our own opinions. We have forgotten You are expecting us to be different than the world. We are to display our Fathers glory and His mercy but also His truth. Ruth when she left Moab and went among Gods people couldn’t live as a Moabite anymore. She had to throw off her old identity and take on the new. We cant come to God with idols in our hearts and pockets and expect for Him to answer. I pray we will lay down every sin that has so easily beset us. Pagan practices and festivals, stop longing for entertainment. Pick up our Word, spend time in His presence. Put our hands to the plow and become that glorious bride He is coming back for. In Yeshuas name Amen

The Lord has shown the same thing to me, and I weep for this country. Oh God forgive us. Move with your mighty right arm and bring the Church in the US back to you. May we all repent and turn from our wicked ways. Help us God to see our own sins and be Holy as you are holy by throwing away our filthy robes and putting on the robe of righteousness you have supplied through your precious Son. None of us is righteous without the continued cleansing from the Lord. All we do in our own power is worthless. But God is merciful and listens to the prayers of His people. May the Chuch in the US be filled with His people. Cleanse us from imposters, cleanse us from lukewarmness, cleanse us from indifference, cleanse us from hardness of heart

This is a word in season, we the church need to wake up
REPENT and turn from our wicked ways before it’s too late. Rev 3 :14-22. We need to heed this word to the Laodicean Church and ask the LORD to pour out upon us a spirit of true repentance and forgiveness. That HE may yet turn and heal our land

Yes we want to know the truth. I would rather be safe in God and do the right thing then be thinking it is safe and the enemy devour me. We are intercessors so we pray pro-active prayers to push back the darkness, we repent for the nation and stand at the wall for breakthrough. I pray that we all would know the times and act wisely.

Yes … and we must understand that there must be serious repentance, and that the Word and Faith are our Sword and Shield. Pray and pray again … worship the Lord with all your heart. Join with others and pray. Speak to every believer about repentance. Above all … Love One Another.

What I notice most about church services these days it is a lot about giving, tithing, offerings, partnering and the such as though some how God himself went broke. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Who is their shepherd. We will follow CDC guidelines and safe distancing protocols but will not do what God told us to do so that the pandemic would not have this affect on us. If Jesus be lifted up he will draw all men unto himself. Simple stuff and you don’t have to wash your hands. However when it is said and done Christians will be able to say “thanks for the real estate”. Father help us all to stay in the word and do what you have told us to do and to do it when you tell us to. Thank for sending this warning to your kids. Help us to heed it. In Jesus’ name Amen

YES, this is the TRUE WORD of GOD! Normal, as we knew it is over. There will be a sharp divide between the CHURCH and the KINGDOM of GOD. The Prophets and warriors are already here. They have indeed gone through the fire. They are proven. They have fasted, repented and prayed through this time. Some are weeping, according to Joel chapter. Revival is already here.

Thanks for this article. By looking at the number of people who have left comments and pray I can tell that the church in general is not recognizing what the Lord has been alerting us for a while. Last year, the Holy Spirit began warning me about exceedingly difficult times that were coming.
Wake up church, wake up before is too late. The church in the U.S. reminds me of the Church in Laodicea thinking that we are a rich and prosperous church, but the Lord sees us as wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked church. Let us remember that this is not about how we see ourselves but how the Lord sees us. Wake up people. We need to “humble” ourselves before the Lord as the “Body of Christ.” If we think we are going to go back to what we used to be, think again! Let us remember what the Lord says in Malachi 1:10 “How I wish one of you would shut the Temple doors so that these worthless sacrifices could not be offered! I am not pleased with you,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “and I will not accept your offerings. We need to repent and humble ourselves. We are an immensely proud church. We need to ask for forgiveness. We need to change our wicked ways. We need to get in the presence of the Lord and ask Him to point out anything that offends Him. Believe me we are going to be surprised. It will hurt, but it is necessary. Wake up before is too late!

Thank you again for preparing us for the days ahead. Praying for a deep humility, brokenness and repentance be found in me first and for the Body of Christ, then the nation!!

This is so crucial! My heart aches reading this, not with earthly fear, or sadness, but my heart aches for the church. People cry out for revival and that’s not bad, but do they understand that no repentance means no revival! No where in the Bible or in history has a move of God ever began without repentance. Do they understand when they cry out or pray for revival that it strikes the church first not just with manafestations of God’s power and salvation, but his first purpose is for those in church to be revived too. Thank God for people like Mario Murillo and Jeremiah Johnson who are preaching repentance and calling for the church to wake up. May this word be received by all who read it, may we allow it to pierce our hearts and cause us to consider our ways.

I agree wholeheartedly with this article and with the prophecy that the worst is yet to come unless the church comes together as prayer warriors. God will save us as he saved the Jewish people in the time of Nehemiah but we must work together tirelessly! We must pray day and night! So much is at stake with this next election. May God have mercy on us all and hear our prayers!
