Brother Heron, To depict God as right or left is to belittle God as he is neither. Jesus died for the whole world not just the right or left. He loves all sinners including. Bill Gates and the so-called globalists. Words like “God will strike him down” depicts a God who is alien to the Bible. I am not an advocate for Gates but whatever is the truth merit in this article, i am aware that many claims have also been made against him before and convincingly debunked. Mindful of the commandment: You shall not pass false judgement against your neighbor, this makes me uncomfortable. Christianity is being distorted as Right vs Left using American politics with its all its toxicity and conspiracy theories (Trumpism is the latest yet it is being dismantled every day especially with election denialism and the current Mar-a-lago saga/classified documents in which it is the Right whose actions look morally hypocritical).

In Jesus lifetime, the Right were the Pharisees who were religious but hyprocrites while everybody else who were worldly (outcasts, sinners, tax collectors, prostitutes, including the Romans) could be considered the liberals. Yet Jesus spent more time with these outcasts than the “godly” people. Lets not make the same mistake today with our haughty religiousity which condemns those “who don’t belong to God”. The article makes much of the fact that Gates’ Chinese investments makes him a sinner. What if Gates is also doing exactly the same thing everywhere else including in un-Chinalike societies? Are those also highligted or will they undermine the narrative? I know that Gates makes huge investements in Africa to alleviate disease and poverty.
