My purse with my keys, cell phone and cards with my identity was stolen in May of 2019.  This event was traumatizing but I also learned a lot and was given revelations that are for now. God revealed to me why there was so much crime and evil throughout our communities and the world, which I will share in this article.   God is calling us to Rise and Shine for our Time has come (Isaiah 60:1)! May His Truth through this article convict you to rise up to work to get America back and to stand up for God’s children.

After my purse was stolen, I prayed even more fervently about the high crime rate in my community.  I was pacing and praying but felt I was just hitting a wall.  I stopped and asked the Lord, how am I to pray, what am I to pray against.  I was seeking how to effectively pray against the evil and distress of crime.  I kept pressing for direction then I heard one word – Abortion!  That was it – Abortion.  I stopped in my tracks.  I asked the Lord, “how is abortion connected to crime and thief of my purse?”   I started searching His Word trying to understand why He told me abortion was the reason for the high crime.  It didn’t take long for Him to reveal to me why!

What is abortion?  Oh yes, MURDER of God’s baby!  Psalms 139:16 tells us He has written a book about every person Before being even being formed and starting life as an embryo in the womb.  He formed us, wrote of the dreams and destiny He had for us before we were placed in our mother’s womb (Psalms 139:13).  Wow! Let’s read Psalms 139:15-16:

“My frame was not hidden from Thee,

When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written,

The days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.“ (Psalms 39:15-16 NAS)

His Word says an embryo is a Living child of Jehovah, God Almighty who created the child with a purpose!  Therefore, physical and spiritual life begins at conception and develops to function independently while growing in the mother’s womb.  So, abortion is stealing a Life God formed that had prophecy attached!  Wow!

God’s Word forewarns us that innocent blood loss puts a curse on the ground.  How did God know Cain murdered Abel?  He heard Abel’s blood crying out to Him from the ground!  Genesis 4:10 says “The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to Me from the ground.  Now you are cursed from the ground”. The scripture goes on to say that the ground will no longer strengthen you and you will be a vagrant and wanderer.  Based on 2020 Guttmacher Intuition data, Jehovah is hearing the cries of over 63 million innocent babies killed in the United States alone (The State of Abortion in US by National Right of Life; nrlc.org, 1/31/2022).   Wow! It is amazing Jehovah can hear our prayers over the cries of all these lives stolen and killed.

One of the six things God hates is the “hands that shed innocent blood” (Proverbs 6:17).

God forewarns us also that bloodshed not hated or goes without justice leads to bloodshed (Ezekiel 35:6)!   Wow, even when we do not stand up calling for justice against the loss of innocent lives, we face judgement.  These scriptures help us understand why our nation’s success and influence has deteriorated.  America as it once was is being destroyed because we did not take heed to His warnings.

Aside from loss of innocent blood and stealing life that YHWH created, what is abortion spiritually?  Abortion is a sacrifice to Molech which was forbidden by YHWH (Leviticus 18:21).   In early times child sacrifice was made to Baal and Molech throughout the world (The True History of Moloch, the Ancient God of Child Sacrifice, Marco Margaritoll, 10,2,2021; The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare, Dr Ed Murphy, 1992, pgs 246-250). The Israelites even made child sacrifices to Baal and Molech when they fell away from God or during times of war (The Handbook for Spiritual Warfare, Dr Ed Murphy, 1992, pgs 246-250; Psalms 106: 37-39). God called out to Israel and Judah in Hosea 11:2 for continuing to make sacrifices to Baal.  Jeremiah 32:35 tells of the high places of Baal in the valley of Ben-hinnom where the Israelites sacrificed their sons and daughters.   Blood is life – and is the power of life (Leviticus 17:11).

Spiritually, when an abortion is done, a false god receives that blood power!  This is what God revealed to me during my search for why abortion was connected to crime and evil!   God is shining a light on this timely Truth to expose this evil plot and plan to kill, steal and destroy God’s children (John 10:10).  He is calling His people to rise and SHINE for our time has come to stand up for Him and to recover America! He has been very merciful during this great period of apostasy.  He is calling us to change your ways and He will save our country (2 Chronicles 7:14)!

History and the Old Testament shows when the Israelites did not follow Jehovah and His way that He eventually turned from them and let them have “their Ways’ as in Romans 1:28-32.    When God’s people turned from His ways, they suffered, their nation was taken over by their enemies and the land was destroyed.  When His people tore down the idols to Baal and other false gods their nation began recovering and they started prospering again.  The first thing Gideon did was to pull down the altar of Baal and the Asherah (Judges 6:28). As you know Gideon succeeded in overcoming the Midianites as Judges 6 – 8 reports.  Forty years of Peace followed (Judges 8:28).

Another example when prosperity returned was when Josiah made a covenant with the Lord to return to His ways with all his heart and soul, then the people followed in making a covenant with the Lord (2 Kings 23: 3-4).  Next, Josiah removed all the idols of Baal, Asherah and idolatrous priests who had burn incense throughout the land to the false gods of Baal and Asherah (2 Kings 23:5-6).  The feasts and temple were restored.  The people and the land recovered and prospered for 69 years during Josiah’s reign (Who’s Who in the Bible, J Comay & R Brownrigg, 1980, pgs 235-236).

After being told Abortion was the root to crime and corrupt ways, I followed history and how our morals have deteriorated since Roe v Wade court decision on January 22, 1973.  What followed was an increase in sexual promiscuity, living out of wedlock, an increased in unwanted pregnancies, more single moms, breakdown of the family, and divorce rate soared. Crime increased and became more violent, and more! The ME generation in the 1980’s seeded and promoted selfishness and pride which continues to fuel the evil that had developed.  Trace history since Roe v Wade for yourself. There is a definite relationship!  The Lord showed me crime and the evil of this nation will not improve or resolve till abortion is not legal, not acceptable, and not so easy.   Abortion opens the door for evil to flow and spread.

Abortion has become deeply rooted in “women’s rights” which has made it a political and divisive issue; it has strengthened the stronghold!  Cynthia Dunbar’s recent IFA article (IFA The Informer, 4/26/2022) discussed how beliefs and actions have fueled abortions in two generations in a rural town of Texas which seeded Roe v Wade.  Dr Curtis Boyd loved the Bible and God’s Word.  His grandmother was a midwife who performed illegal abortions at times.  She declared Curtis was a prophet called by God for a special service.  Dr Boyd felt his special calling was to show compassion and help to women who had unwanted pregnancies by providing abortions. Ministers would refer women to Dr Boyd which reinforced his belief about his calling.  A false prophecy and deception is now attached to the abortion stronghold; it is fighting to keep a grip on America!  It will not be easy but with God we can overcome!

Jesus gave the church the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven with the power to bind evil and overcome the gates of Hell (Matthew 16:18-19)!  Greater is He who is within us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)!   Jesus gave us the power to overcome every evil plot and plan of the devil as stated in Luke 10:19. What gifts!  We are empowered to overcome, push back and change this evil plot to kill, steal and destroy God’s babies!

Each one of us was created to be a Light that will push back darkness, as established in Genesis 1.  We are made in the image of God (Gen 1:27).  God Almighty formed Earth by declaring light into the darkness (Genesis 1: 3).  Light is powerful and exposes darkness!  Since we are made in God’s image, we are Light!  Jesus told us we are the Light of the world when we follow Him (John 8:12).  Our presence, and what we say and do can push back darkness!  Our presence is powerful which is one reason why prayer walking is effective.  God is calling us to shine the Light of Life on abortion.  He has empowered us with His Word, His Spirit, and Jesus!  He will guide us and stand with us if we keep focused on Him.  The time for the church has come to rise and Shine is here!

Many Pastors have not spoken out against abortion or justified it in some way which has influenced the church’s action to abortion.  Abortion has become a political and emotional issue that has silenced many Believers and Pastors.  (reflects the Stronghold’s effect.)  Surveys show women do not feel comfortable talking with a pastor or church member while considering an abortion due to concern about being judged or cast out.  A 2021 Life Way Research’s survey revealed the following results from women who had had an abortion:

43% of women attend church at least once a month or more

20% of women attend church weekly before they had an abortion

70% of women who had abortion identify themselves as Christians

64% of women felt church members would gossip about their pregnancy or abortion

36% of women expected or experienced judgmental reaction from a church

26% of women expected or experienced condemnation from the congregation

How do we stop the murder of so many babies and stand up for Jehovah?  We do what God did – Shine a Light and Push Back Darkness.  How do we shine the light of truth and push back this entrenched darkness set out to destroy and kill God’s people?  How do we stop the curse that will destroy our land?  How do we restore the covenant our founding forefathers made with God when they first landed in America?

1. Repent and ask forgiveness for any thoughts, beliefs, or actions about abortions that you have endorsed, approved or supported. We are so fortunate to have a loving and merciful God who forgives – if we repent and change our ways He will “hear from heaven and heal our land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
2. Start praying daily for the truth be revealed to about how abortion assaults God’s creation and His people. Pray for church leaders and Pastors to speak about what God says about abortions.
3. Ask the Holy Spirit how you can reveal truth about what abortion does and speak out about the loss of innocent and how it brings a curse on the land. Ask the Holy Spirit where to contribute or volunteer related to abortion.
4. Help bring awareness and repentance by opening doors to educate people and to change laws that protect the loss of innocent lives. Share the truth about what abortion is doing to our nation and our relationship with God at a bible study, prayer groups or to church leadership.
5. Ask your Pastor to give a sermon about what the Bible says about abortions and loss of innocent lives. Support the pastor with prayer and encouragement for courage to tell the truth about the evils of abortion.  Provide the Pastor with scriptures to help with the message.
6. Organize prayer groups with friends, neighbors or at your church. Individually or with groups prayer walk your neighborhood, schools, churches, and especially abortion facilities praying to expose the truth about abortions and its spiritual meaning, to awaken young, vulnerable women who think abortion is acceptable, and to block enemy activities and curses that are out to steal, kill and destroy God’s babies.
7. Help create an atmosphere at your church where women feel comfortable discussing their thoughts about having an abortion. Have information sheets with resources that can provide assistance with child care, medical care, housing and support groups.  If the women decide to have an abortion, do not cast them out or fuel any guilt she may have.  First that is not how God behaves.  Second His word clearly states not to judge.  Make the church a safe environment to talk about life situations and decisions.
8. Help single moms or families in your neighborhood or church with parenthood needs and responsibilities; for example, to keep their baby while shopping or working or to give them some personal time. Set up a mentor programs in your church to teach skills, provide recipes and household tips, or someone to seek for advice and guidance either by one-to-one mentoring or a class.
9. Write government law makers on all levels asking to reverse Roe v Wade and stop tax dollars paying for abortions. When a bill is going to be voted on regarding abortion, write or call your legislator.  It does help and lets it be known how many want to stop abortions.
