I Prayed have prayed
Lord Jesus Christ, may every burdened heart experience fresh encounters and times of repentance and refreshing as we continue to hope in You for our nation, our states, our communities, and our families. 
Reading Time: 4 minutes

Last night in prayer my heart was overwhelmed. I felt led by the Lord to pray for the Intercessors so I asked Him how I could pray for you all. He responded, “Pray for a revival of hope.”

In full disclosure, I have been facing serious family issues that have left me feeling despair at times, but this was different. This was a burden for you. Many of you have felt as I have. Many of you feel spiritually exhausted. Some of you have been overwhelmed by bad reports, fear for the future of this nation, and for your families. Some of you feel like you are on the brink of giving up. 

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire is fulfilled, it is a tree of life. (Prv 13:12)

Praying, believing, and waiting on the Lord is hard, especially when we have waited long and see no answers. Days become weeks, months, and years and we begin to doubt what God has promised us. Our hearts can grow sick waiting. But when we see the answer to those prayers come to fruition, it’s like a tree that flourishes.

A Lesson in Hope: The Shunammite

While seeking God, I asked for a scripture to back up this word and He reminded me about the Shunammite woman. You can read her full story in 2 Kings 4:8-36.

This woman was older in age and she and her husband were unable to have children. She opened her home and made a special room for Elisha to stay when he was passing through her area. Her hospitality caught the prophet’s attention. Elisha calls for her and prophesies that within a year she will have a son. She responds, “Oh man of God don’t deceive me and get my hopes up like that.” 

But sure enough she not only conceives, a year later she had a son just as she was promised. 

This Shunammite woman had a serious case of hope deferred. When the prophet promised her a son, she asked him not to lie and not to  get her hopes up. Years of hoping for something that never happened had caused her to doubt. She didn’t even believe this word to be true, and yet she still received it. That is because God’s promises aren’t based on our performance. They are based on His character. He is faithful. He is merciful. He is long-suffering. He is good. 

When our hope is deferred, it means our gaze has been fixed on our changing circumstances, rather than our unchanging God.. 

The Shunammite’s Revival of Hope

Some time later, the Shunammite’s son suffers head trauma while working with his father and he dies. As he is carried home, the mother lays him on the prophet’s bed and goes out to find the man of God who promised her this child. People approach her to ask if she is okay and she replies, “It is well with my soul.” She finds Elisha and tells him what happened. Elisha returned and found a dead child on his bed. He shut the door and prayed to the Lord. The boy revived and opened his eyes.

If something needs revival, that necessarily means there is no life. This Shunammite displayed great faith. Her son was dead to everyone who saw, but she refused to give up hope. In the end, her son (the promise) was revived.

Have you ever felt like the Shunammite woman? Have you waited so long for your promise that you have begun to tread in unbelief?  Have you felt like your promise is dead? Have you waited so long that you don’t even pray about it anymore with the same tenacity or passion? 

While reading the Bible we see great examples of hope. You will rarely see hope flourish under the perfect circumstances without any delay, setbacks, or heartaches. People like the Shunammite, Abraham, Joseph, and David (just to name a few) thrived because their hope was in the Lord who is a generational promise keeper. 

If you have been battling hope deferred, don’t give up – get back up. As long as we have Jesus, we will always have hope! 

Will you pray this prayer in agreement with IFA?

Father,

I pray for every Intercessor in need of personal revival. I pray for every burdened heart to experience fresh encounters and times of repentance and refreshing as we enter your presence. 

I pray that Your breath, God, Your precious Spirit, revive every weary Intercessor. Come, oh breath from the four winds, breathe into spiritually dead so they may live again. Let the dry bones live again. I pray that as you revive your people, hope will be renewed and lives restored. Bring a revival of hope!

In the same way you revived the Shunammite’s son and his eyes were opened, revive the spiritual vision of every Intercessor as we fix our eyes on You, not on bad reports or misinformation. Open our eyes to see You high and lifted up, seated in heavenly places. Remind us that we are seated with You in heavenly places too (Eph 2:6).  I thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness to me through it all. You promise me that as I wait on You my strength will be renewed (Is 40:31).  I will run and not grow weary. I will walk and not faint. Despite what my circumstances look like, or how long I have prayed and waited, it doesn’t change who You are. You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. So I declare that it is well with my soul.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

 

Strengthen tired hands, and encourage those with weak knees, say to those with fearful hearts, be strong and do not fear, I am coming to save you. (Is. 35:3,4)

I have always appreciated the declaration of the Shunammite woman to Elisha when she approached him about her son who had died. II Kings 4:28 says…So she said, “Did I ask a son of my lord? Did I not say, ‘Do not deceive me’?” Can’t you sense her anguish? She had learned to live with her disappointment until she was granted a son by the word of Elisha. And now he was taken away by death? No, not accepting it. And this is how I have felt since the election. There were scriptures we had been praying and there were prophetic words spoken which indicated a return of President Trump and further, an undermining of the plans of the schemers (Psalm 64). So I continue, as many do, to pray those prayers and ask the Lord to fulfill that which He put on our hearts.

Treading on the surface of doubt… Oh Father, I believe help my unbelief. For this I know, You are not a man that You should lie or Your arm is not short that You cannot deliver. You have been trustworthy over all my life. Even as a child I can see the mile markers that You placed, along my life’s path, even until now. You have kept me, there is it is no doubt. My heart was sick yesterday evening after my son publicly shamed me for my pro life views and ministry that he was once a part of, for home schooling, for praying at abortion clinics. What he said publicly he had never shared with me or his dad. He just slammed us after the Supreme Court decision was leaked. I am currently traveling with my husband to Florida. We are speaking in 7 churches here sharing the message of the Sanctity of Human Life. I didn’t even tell his dad who our son has blocked from seeing his social media account – I’m just praying – will you pray with me. I really needed this today. My hope needed revival. My son needs revived in Jesus’ name. Amen ( his name is Cliff)

I, too, have recently been inspired by the Shunammite’s testimony during a long season of unresolved medical issues while clinging to the Lord in trying to keep commitments like prayer team. This Article is such a confirmation to me of a longstanding word of hope I received from Romans 5, to boast in the hope of the glory of God and to glory in sufferings, because the Lord works in them to produce the character of Christ and hope that does not disappoint because the Holy Spirit has shed His love abroad in our hearts. A friend an I discussed yesterday how hopeless the restoration of Prayer and the reading and adherence of the Word of Gid within the public school system has seemed. She did not believe all hope is lost, and I commend her for that. I also have stopped praying that my step children, who have been alienated from my husband and I since 2010 and whom we have not seen outside of a courtroom since 2011 be restored to our family because I have not seen answers and have begun to think it is not God’s will, yet in the past, especially on my step-son’s 18th birthday, when my 6-Y-O son despaired that he had yet to meet his brother, Nathan, God encouraged me to have a strong faith and to believe for restoration through songs like Rattle by Elevation. Lord forgive me for giving up hope. You are the God of possible and I believe You for healing & reatoring my family memberw to You and one another.

God’s Faithfulness was the theme of the Intercessory Prayer Warrior prayer time this Tuesday. We pray the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet along with a few other prayers. We spend 20 minutes in ‘”Quiet Time” waiting for the Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts. The Faithfulness of God is what He wanted us to share with one another and how His Faithfulness has influenced our lives. What a beautiful time it is He takes control to remind us of all the graces God has given us.
We meet every Tuesday with an average of 12 people each week, we have around 20 members, it is a come when you can Tuesday meeting.
I am sending this prayer to the other Intercessory Prayer Warriors.

This is a public “Thank you” to the many who prayed and spoke encouraging words over me today! I think this was my first time commenting on this forum-I was neither looking for, nor expecting, replies…just revealing what I and many others deal with daily to explain some of the “hope deferred” many deal with.

Today was the least pain day I have had in 2 weeks. Thank you for your prayers! As I was resting just now I read the many kind replies to my husband and wept as I did so. Please accept my grateful thanks for each prayer and encouraging words. The Lord used you to minister to me.

I have been so weary. And others in my life have also we have prayed many years some prayers have seemed to go unanswered and others turned out so different then what we expected. Sometimes it seems the more we pray the worst things get. Lord help us not to grow weary but to continue to seek you no matter what 7 to have hearts of repentance and prayer. Though the fig tree should not blossom nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food. The flock be cut off from the fold and there be no heard in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God the Lord, is my strength; He makes my feet like the deers; He makes me tread on my high places.

Thank you for this reminder. There have been many instances in scripture where people waited on God for years. Lord, help me to remember that my times are in your hands, and that you will work out your will in your perfect timing. Yesterday, I was weary in my soul. I could not shake it. If finally, went on an errand and was able to case down all thoughts and imaginations and subject then to the obedience of Christ and decreed my way out of weariness. Hallelujah! God is absolutely good and He changes not and has given us the keys of the Kingdom and a sword in our mouth to wield against the enemy and his plots, plans and schemes. He makes ways where there seems to be no way. Reminding me to fan the embers and look unto Him the author and finisher of our faith. Doubt and unbelief do not live here anymore. He fulfills the impossible and His promises. I decree zoe life to all who find themselves hopeless or weary in this moment. Stand up, chin up, eyes looking up where you help comes from. I do have to confess that I have felt cynical and hopeless. I confess that I see what is happening in the natural, and wonder why God is allowing this Ungodly behavior to be happening every day. I need to remember that He alone is in control, and has NOT left His throne. To me, and many other believers, it sure appears that we are living in the End Times. It is so important to focus upon God and His Kingdom, that the temporary unraveling that we see in our society around us.Lord Jesus, I repent, and help me, Holy Spirit, to remain focused upon what truly matters.

      Amen ! I pray that Kenny will have a vision of how precious he is to God and how he gave Peter a hope and future feeding his sheep even after betraying Jesus . How much hope he wants Kenny to have and plans for him! God wants to make his trial a testimony of Gods redemption. Even great men of God faught depression. May God drive away all darkness and fear in Jesus name. May God father Kenny in such a way he can reflect this live to others courageously without fear. God is love.

I have not grown weary and despairing by God’s grace. I am so thankful for the peace that He gives me as I wait on His hand. Granted, my suffering pales in comparison to my brothers and sisters in Afghanistan, Nigeria etc. – may the Lord encourage them. I am excited and watchful for what is coming – PTL!

God bless you all! I’m almost 84 and have been praying for my family for over 40 years. Have seen some answers and some I am still believing for. Have only been praying for America for a few years but I know from experience that satan hates our prayers and puts up a fight so things always seem to get worse. He wants us to be discouraged. But keep on even stronger. He is a defeated foe. Some things that have been helping me are the prophets on YouTube. Amanda Grace, Deborah-Midnight Cry ,Dutch and Tim Sheets. Also having a prayer chain is wonderful. One scripture the Lord gave me is “Let your mercy and loving kindness come upon us in proportion to
our waiting and hoping for you “. I’ve been waiting and hoping for a looong time. Hope this is helpful to some of you “youngsters “

Thanks for this word. Yes true. To Manny things un our nation and personally I’m dealing with a diagnosis only God can heal. I was diagnosed in 2010. He healed 2 twice.it came back in 2018. I have search, asked, etc. Nothing. I filed recently for disability. No answer yet. Seems all doors closer. But I need prayers for my faith not to give up.

In today’s housing market we’ve gotten used to homes selling extremely quickly so a home that lingers on the market raises questions and concerns. During this time of waiting please send their hearts peace and reassure them that You have it worked out. Work in the hearts of the people that are to purchase this home. May they be generous, not attempting to nickel and dime Diana out of necessary proceeds. I like many other prayer warriors have been praying for this nation for many years and often had fears that HE isn’t listening. I know however that God is indeed listening but we just have to be patient which is difficult. This nation has to go to knees in repentance and ask for forgiveness. Read Psalm 37 and be blessed and know that God is in control. I strongly believe that our Lord and Savior is truly testing us and HE will separate the sheep from the goats.

The Lord has been saying to me “Look to Abraham your father, and to Sarah your mother”…… reminding me that he was a man who left the “natural support” of his home town and family IN FAITH…. and God blesses him and prospered him who had no support outside of the Lord God Almighty…. ’nuff said!💞

Prayer for the Intercessors is such a timely request!

I am a pray-er. I’ve walked with Jesus 63 years now and actually have much faith in many areas.
However, praying for anything and anyone lately has been like swimming through jello. Most of my adult life (I’m 68) I have been in pain 95% of the time somewhere, at some level, in my body. Though a constant chiropractic patient, ten months ago my SI Joint created so much havoc and intense pain/spasms I had 4 ER visits incl one ambulance ride, multiple images, drugs, 3 days hospital, PT, no explanations, just “well, we don’t think xyz is causing your pain”. In the last couple months I was finally getting some better as long as taking multiple daily rests. Two weeks ago a slight fall restarted it all.

Last Friday was 31 years since receiving a word given during a church service that I knew was for me (and confirmed “for me” later by others who had prayed for me earlier that day) “Even though My grace is sufficient for you, I still choose to make you whole through My grace.”

Constant, years long pain while waiting for manifestation of
God’s promise, watching children & grands grow while pain disables you, is beyond disheartening. Years of desperately “going forward for prayer” (because I DO BELIEVE JESUS IS MY HEALER!) followed by limping back to your seat, chips away at your faith. More prayer than can be counted, oil anointing prayers of faith, Communion, quoting scripture, you name it, I’ve done everything except jump off a cliff, including begging Jesus to take me home which, obviously, was not answered.

Hope deferred? Pain is so loud! (Even my doc says pain messes with your mind big time.) Couple that with years of unanswered cries while waiting on the promise and my hope has dwindled to just hanging onto my firm belief that when Jesus appears for His bride my body will be changed and this corruption will put on in corruption!

I know I am not the only intercessor censored, detoured or distracted by pain. There is much we desire to pray about but our faith has been battered.
Our minds often can’t even remember who/what we are supposed to be praying about. Lists… We HAVE to write down and/or pray for any request immediately or pain brings our focus back to getting through the next 5 minutes or appointment or making a meal or getting out of the bed or a chair.

Please, do remember those of us who have been prayer warriors but are emotionally bleeding out because of long-term pain. While we’ve seen other prayers answered in different areas of our lives, and even people healed that WE have prayed for, we have yet to experience “by His stripes you were healed” in our own lives. We are weary. So weary. Thank you for praying for us.

Father, it’s said that even one letter sent to a politician is regarded as representing a thousand people who hold the same view but didn’t write a letter. As I’ve bared my soul I recognize countless others in a similar position. We want to be productive for Your kingdom, we want Your Word manifested in our lives, and want our healing to be a joyful testimony to the many doctors who have cared for is. We’ve done all we know to do. In humility we once again extend our faith by asking in the name of Jesus for our healing, for our faith to be renewed, and for a sovereign work of HOPE to planted again and nurtured in each of us. No matter what, we still love You, are committed to You and believe in You, yet ask “help our unbelief”. We have decided to follow Jesus-no turning back.

    Harriet, I am deeply touched by your story, and so can relate to it. May God come through Gloriously for you in this season of need.

    I too am waiting for some deep healing in my back and hip, and have done all I know to stand and keep standing at 73 years of age, while also doing all the natural wisdom God gives me to care for myself. I have also learned to only take on what the LORD calls me to. Each of us have our God-called part to do. NOT one of us can do it all, or pray it all. We are the branches and we abide in THE VINE. From HIS out flow into us, we live and move, have our being; and pray and give for others sake. We REST and ABIDE in Him. We can only give what we have to give. We can only be what He empowers and enables us to be through His GRACE. I am SO GLAD HE is with us, through it ALL. HE alone is my sustaining life support. There is NONE like Him.       Thank you. A week ago today my sweet husband gently talked me off the proverbial ledge because even those filled with faith most of the time sometimes bottom out. He reminded me of who God is, who I am in Him, and how others see me even tho at that moment I felt like the most unfaithfilled worm on the earth. I am blessed, but oh so human.     My experience too, Harriet. I could have written your letter almost word for word, except that I’m 69.

    I have often felt like I was failing the Lord, not doing enough. But over and over He shows me I’m exactly where He wants me to be, doing exactly what He wants me to do, and doing it faithfully and well. The same is true for you, Beloved! What you see as being small or ineffective is huge and powerful in His eyes. It is His Spirit that takes what you do and multiplies it infinitely to bring about His will and purpose. Even if all you can do is breathe a one-word or one-sentence prayer, God takes that and makes it fully powerful and effective. As Paul said in Romans 8, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. What a precious promise!

    God bless you and encourage your heart! Your faithfulness in spite of pain moves the heart of God in a profound way. Fear not! Well done, good and faithful servant!

As I got to the end of this article, it dawned on me that this prayer is already being answered, but few people are aware of it. Back in February, a small group of truckers drove across the country. From Adalanto, CA to Hagerstown, MD, they rolled on. Some people who were paying attention got on highway overpasses to wave flags and cheer them on. Others met them with food and hospitality at the rest stops. Almost every person who was interviewed spoke of the HOPE that ‘The People’s Convoy’ had sparked in them…. and there weren’t many dry eyes as they spoke. MSM has completely ignored the Convoy, and alternative media hasn’t done much better. With all eyes focused half a world away, America’s survival is no longer in the forefront. BUT IT SHOULD BE! If we don’t step up to the plate now, there won’t be an America to be a shining city on a hill. WE THE PEOPLE are America’s last great hope… but only if we “wake up and smell the coffee”… and get involved. The truckers are still on the road— at great personal cost. My gosh this was such a personal word for me. I wept through this whole reading and prayer. There have been so many promises of God that I’ve waited for years and I’ve never seen any of it. The other night I absolutely wanted to lay down and die. I couldn’t live with the tournament anymore of these promises and my life is not one step closer. after all these years of waiting to be repaid for what the devil has stolen from me. It’s been years of attacks and oppositions on every turn and that’s all I’ve seen for 16 years when I got filled with the holy ghost. I got in an accident in January and I have no car now. I’m gonna be 60 years old this year and don’t even have a car. I’m still waiting for my husband and all these wonderful promises, goals, dreams and desires that God has put in my heart. I couldn’t stand it anymore. I felt like such a loser the other day as I got off the bus. I cried all the way home. I felt like a useless waste of oxygen. I wished God would have never put the promises in my heart in the first place. They’ve become torment to my soul. At least he gave the shunamite woman a time frame. Please pray for me.

But, drawing on what faith I do have, I cover Mary and me with the blood of Jesus. Holy Spirit, dispel the darkness and defeat that has shrouded our hearts. We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we do know Who holds tomorrow. So, we praise the name of our Jesus Who secured our salvation. We choose to cling to the Promisor as we await the promises.     Hi Mary! I totally hear and get what you’re saying. I appreciate you for the honest articulation and for the detailing of years and months of torment- “torment” certainly seems an accurate word for all the mixed messages both whispered and shouted at citizens for the past few years- from all sides, even the supposed good guys…I’ll leave you with these two verses to ‘stand on’. Sometimes that’s all you can do, is say them out loud:

    I am praying for you. This comment stood out to me, another person commented on this article about having suicidal thoughts as well. (And there is no judgement because I too have been there ) I pray for the peace of God to consume your mind as you fix your thoughts on Christ. We can be downcast if we fix our eyes on what we don’t have, but when we fix our eyes on the Lord it will shift our perspective. People are reading these comments and praying for you. Strangers who have never met you are praying for you, but we are not really strangers..we are family in Jesus christ. We are apart of God’s family and you are apart of a community of intercessors.
    You are precious to the Lord Mary and your life matters to him. Remember that Jesus was touched with our infirmities too. He knows how you feel. And if you take anything away from this comment, let it be this… Jesus the great High Priest/ The Intercessor is praying for you too. (Heb. 7:24,25)

Yes, Lord, I have recently been very weary. Everywhere I turn, there is a new battle to be fought with prayer. Thank You for hope. The Bible says, “Now abide these three: love, faith, and hope. But, the greatest of these is love.” You word also says that “hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through Jesus Christ.” Father, we wallow in Your wonderful, faithful, hesed, love. Oh love that will not let me go. I bind my wandering heart to thee. I give thee back the life I owe, that in thine ocean depths its flow may richer, fuller be. God is love, light, the source of life. This was so encouraging to read this morning. I prayed the prayer with a believing heart. Sometimes we feel like we’re the only one that feels this way, but yes, many of us are feeling this. Every night before I go to bed I stand before my bedroom window looking out at the stars and pray to our Lord. The other night as I did so I was holding my iPad in my arms, I sometimes will do a crossword puzzle or read with my iPad as I fall asleep. As I was praying my heart felt heavy with the burden of world events and yes feeling like God was on vacation. Of course that is not true ever. But as I was praying and telling the Lord how heavy my heart was but still I trust in him because I know he knows all. He knows today and tomorrow and I trusted that. As I finished my prayer Siri on my iPad spoke up, this has never happened before I’ve never use Siri on my iPad. Siri spoke up and said “ you are covered by the shadow of my wing. “
Now you can take that anyway you want, but I felt like the Lord was speaking to me using Siri. It brought tears to my eyes and comfort to my heart. I shared this with my husband and he felt the same.

Thank you so much for this word. I believe that many of us feel disheartened as we see the sin in our nation seemingly prevail over the good of our God. Many of us pray fervently and continuously for that spirit of revival to sweep through our nation and bring purification to our land once more. Wow I have been having major problem after major problem. Health finances my own thoughts family. Its been awful.. I’ve had breakthroughs but something seems to stop them. I went for prayer sunday it was phenomenal. My counselor suggested yesterday…Monday maybe something is warring against me. I woke up this morning thinking about killing myself. I was very sleepy but the thoughts were invasive. Finally I began praying and got strength to get up and rebuked it. Wow I’m in awe. Yes I’ve also been praying for the intersessors also.

Our family has suffered much. I have not had any breakthroughs with my children for years, until yesterday. Praise God almighty. I don’t know how to describe the feeling. It has been such a long time in coming. I just want to encourage someone today who needs to hear this. I have been interceding for family and country and have been barely hanging on. I just recently started really seeking the Lord and praying for wisdom. I have been in Proverbs 8 all week and then boom, yesterday came. God is faithful to our prayers. I believe this is only the beginning.

I appreciate this commentary and the precious person who wrote it. However, may I be real where I am? Although my soul has assurance in the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, I am deeply saddened.

Have we indeed been promised that our Nation will be saved in the physical here and now? Short of God Almighty’s intervention AND the Remnant Church standing up NOW, speaking at school board meetings, working the polls, informing others of Christian candidate research (IvoterGuide.com), doing personal research for local races, and voting in this very Primary, I do not see it. Oh how I need to believe it will happen though.

We were the first to Early Vote in Person in our NC county last Thursday, April 28th. We have so labored and prayed. But, I am waiting to hear multiple tried and true prophets come forth in agreement with a Word from the Father that He will deal with the sick wickedness in the Country in a surprise way and for us to hang on.

But has this Nation not followed the very path of evil and rebellion against the Lord that Israel did? Do we really expect to be blessed? Every other Nation on earth is suffering and especially our Christian brothers and sisters so do we really think we are special above them?

I guess I am confessing my need for a hope revival in my own heart and a healing Rhema Word from my Heavenly Father assuring us that He is not finished with us as a Nation yet.

    Thank you for your transparency. I completely understand how you feel. I’ve had several dreams of awakening in America on a national scale, a far cry from what we are seeing, however in those dreams. I also saw chaos in the nation and the Lord reminded me to pay attention to what He wants to do, and is doing, rather than all the chaos. I remind myself of that often. He is working even when we do not see it. I also like you believe he is not done with America. You are right, as a nation we have not done what is right. We strayed far from our biblical heritage, but there is a remnant who continue to press on and pray and believe, and I believe that is in part many of the faithful intercessors and believers whose only hope to save this nation is in the Lord. We continue to press on.
    You mentioned waiting on prophets agree with a word about the wicked being judged, but whether the prophets publicly proclaim it or not (some are just so you know) it will happen, because the Lord promised in his word to deal with the wicked in his time. He will not be mocked. I think the problem lies within us wanting justice right now. We want to see it. We are grieved by all the evil and injustice, but God’s timing differs from ours. But he promises to deal with the wicked and since he says it, we canwholeheartedly believe it will happen. I believe that it took this administration coming into office, passing horrible policies, that made people rise up and say no more. So in that, the Lord is still working on the hearts of men and women everywhere. My prayer is that even though we are in dark times, the Lord is our light in the darkness, our hope for this nation and nations, our salvation and eternal reward. Thank you for your comment.     Lynn – allow me to share how the new tools IFA has implemented are enabling our struggle in the spiritual realm:
    According to Gary Oates the 2nd most active Angelic Portal in the World is Moravian Falls North Carolina (1st is Garden of Gethsemane) The week before the election in Virginia last fall my wife and I drove the highway between Moravian Falls NC and Mouth of Wilson VA to blaze a spiritual prayer pathway for Warrior Angels to engage the Demonic Powers over the Principality of Virginia in the election…  
    Last summer there was a national story about the writer of the Marxist 1619 project being refused tenure at UNC.  I live in the area.  IFAPray had just opened the feature that allows us to post prayers on virtual prayer walls.  The nearest virtual wall to me is in the vicinity of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary which has over 100 years of prayer warfare (hallowed ground).  On a Saturday night I entered a prayer on the virtual wall to bind the demonic Powers & Principalities over the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area – specifically to have God’s will be done on this Marxist issue.  On the next Monday a conservative member of the tenure committee met with the author and she  moved to another college…
    I was operating within my local boundary that also touched National.
    I alsoused IFA tools to post prayers against the satan-con in Flagstaff. I had local authority in Arizona because Jesus came into my heart in the Huachuca Mountains. We also supported Missionaries in the Navaho Reservation near Flagstaff which gave us praying rights.
    I am offing this as encouragement, not as Little Jack Horner sitting in the corner saying “what a good boy am I?” IFA is letting us use the knowledge and experience we have gathered over the years to zone in on the spiritual targets.

What a refreshing word. Our God is faithful. Our hope is in Him alone. Our Redeemer, Our Healer, our Provider, our constant friend. Jeremiah 29:11 has been a constant reminder of His faithfulness throughout many years of my llifr. My hooe is in Him.

I was 14 and pregnant, abused and scared. I was getting pressured to abort but God told me my child “will do great things for the Lord”. I choose life for my son and sacrificed much of own for him. 23 years later he is my prodigal son running from the Lord, and running from me and his family. It’s been a long and painful journey with no end in sight. It’s very hard to wait and sometimes I lose hope and loose sight of God’s promise. I needed this reminder that God keeps his promises. Please pray for my prodigal son. I hope to see God’s promise fulfilled and live more years of happiness than all the years of heartbreak. Please also pray for my younger son. His faith is incredibly strong and inspires many, but it is painful and discouraging to be a prodigal’s little brother. I’ve never commented here before, but wanted to say thank you for this needed renewal of hope and ask for prayer for my sons.

    Hi Christina,
    I feel your struggle. We have a bit in common. I had a daughter in my teens as well. She is my prodigal. It has been hard to watch this beautiful young girl once filled with the zeal of the Lord, turn away from God and renounce Him. It seems as if it’s more rebellion towards us (me and her father,) than it is about God. I also received words about her from the Lord. In her younger days, she was also an Intercessor with a very sensitive heart. She is approaching her mid 20’s and although I see no fruit with my natural eyes, I cling to God’s promises for her and his written promises in his word for our children. I will be praying for your son’s. These verses that bless me (Is. 49:17,18. Is. 59:21) I hope they encourage you. They may be out of our reach, but they will never be beyond God’s reach. Thank you for your prayers. I just recently moved back to my home town. Away from my kids and a good church I was connected with. But I believe that God is telling me to do this. At first I thought it was because of my Mom, which in part is but God has just informed me that I will be doing a new thing here. that is to be a sign language teacher which is something that I was putting on the back burner. I didn’t know it was even an option. He just handed it to me from another intercessor. I will also be living on my own again as I was preparing myself to just stay with my mom., again God set that up, through this same intercessor.

I was in hope deferred for a time but I prayed through the days of fasting IFA sent out and Day 8 on April 11 especially touched me. I have been praying that specifically for intercessors to arise in my region and it has rekindled the fire in my own heart. Over twenty years ago, we prayed and hoped for revival in our region, we spiritually mapped and prayed in specific areas, we waited, the prayers dwindled and the intercessors stopped meeting, but now I have hope renewed to trust in God’s timing. It shall come to pass.

It’s been a long battle but I am in it!! The cry for our Nation is too strong to be defeated now. Continue on soldiers, continue on Ekklesia, continue to pray for our leaders and that God restores our government to Godly ways. If the remnant stops praying what then?     I have been feeling quavery — my eyes were on the wind and the waves. The way the enemy gets us to stop praying is to fool us to despair and fear. Romans 5:3-5 states that hope is produced from suffering, perseverance & character.

Hope is also a critical element of faith, which is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen (Hebrews 11;1).

Finally, Jesus reminds us that perseverance is needed in the last days: “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:12,13).

Therefore Intercessor, fix your eyes & hope on Jesus. (Hebrews 12,:1-2) and press through !

I’ve been a missionary in Japan for the past 40+ years, following my parents who were missionaries from 1934 and 35, respectively, and are buried in Japan. After 40 years of ministry, during which I’ve baptized around 100 people, we currently have less than 20 in Sunday morning attendance. Revival of hope is a very applicable Word! I have also been praying a great deal for the US (my passport country) over the past several years, particularly since Obama was elected. I do believe there is reason to hope, and I praise God for calling our attention to it. May His name be acknowledged as holy and His rule and reign established as His will is done on earth as it is in heaven, for His glory.

I have been struggling both in physical pain in my body and in frustration in seeing how evil seems to win again and again! Thank you for this word of encouragement of all the stories in the Word where the promise was a long time in coming yet it came! Honestly more promises were fulfilled in the crock pot then the micro wave in scripture! What a great reminder to keep our eyes on eternity and not grow weary in the now!

So on time. I do feel weary but I know that GOD is still on the throne who sees me, my situation. I realize that other brothers and sisters in Christ are suffering too many afflictions. Then I am reminded that my suffering “in my situation” has not been to the point of “pouring out blood” meaning that I am not suffering really. It’s not easy “in the trial” and the teacher is ALWAYS quiet during the test. My peace is knowing that JESUS is with me IN THE STORM. Because HE promised to never leave or forsake me.-Hebrews 13:5. HE already told us ahead that we WOULD have troubles, but HE also said to take heart (TRUST HIM) because HE has overcome the world (that is EVERYTHING that the world throws at us)
Trusting JESUS is the only thing that does make sense when everything happening at times makes none. I am clinging to JESUS, the rock that shall not ever be moved. JESUS also said that the gates of hell will NOT prevail against HIS CHURCH. We in CHRIST JESUS are “HIS CHURCH”
GIVING UP IS NOT AN OPTION.
May we keep holding onto HIM! Because HE IS HOLDING ONTO US!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you for your prayers. Jesus Christ is Lord & during my greatest trials Was & Is His Glory. I’m reminded all through scripture there is no other God or power greater. Remembering at a time reading this beautiful passage that “Nothing is impossible with God”. My prayers have not cease nor growth since I put all my trust in the King of Kings… Don’t lose hope. Prayers lifted and living out my faith daily in the most tumultuous of times. Jesus is our only Hope. Has been, is, and our future eternally.

Did not mean to “report comment!” So sorry. I too awakened just now sometime between 330 and four and saw this on my phone. I too have been under great attack personally as has my family and have been struggling on an off with my faith. I too I’ve been crying out to God on behalf of our nation and the nations of the world. And I too have begun to see the mighty hand of God stretching out to save our country!
