From Breitbart. The Department of Homeland Security is setting up a Disinformation Governance Board in an attempt to combat “misinformation” online.
Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas spoke about the “just established” governance board during a congressional hearing on Wednesday, arguing it would help reduce domestic threats to the United States.
The team will focus on irregular migration and Russia, according to a report from Politico’s Daniel Lippman.
Nina Jankowicz, a fellow for the Wilson Center, confirmed reports that she would direct the board, sharing her official government portrait on her social media profile….

Jankowicz has long been an advocate for social media censorship and regulation.

In October 2020, Jankowicz testified to the House Select Committee on Intelligence on the dangers of misinformation and conspiracy theories and how to stop it online….
During her testimony, Jankowicz recommended that Congress start spending more taxpayer dollars to fund a “robust public media” and work on a global effort to combat disinformation….
From The Wall Street Journal Editorial Board : “We realize public schools don’t teach the classics any more, but has no one in the Biden Administration read George Orwell ? Apparently not, because that’s the only explanation for its creation of a new Disinformation Governance Board.
We have to admit that when we first read about it, we thought the news was itself disinformation from the Administration’s political enemies. Surely, no one in this age of polarization and public mistrust of institutions would think it’s wise to set up a government shop with the job of telling Americans what is true.
We were wrong. . . . . The concern isn’t that the board will spy on Americans. The problem is that this new board may choose to play the role of national fact checker, a kind of government PolitiFact. They’ll look down from Mt. Washington at this or that statement and vouchsafe to the masses what is true and what is false.
. . . . [R]efereeing political debate isn’t the government’s job. Leave that to the free exchange of ideas in the public square. The Disinformation Governance Board will promote more mistrust than it prevents.

In 2016, Mr. Obama before leaving office pushed through the Countering Disinformation Act supported by both parties and this was the beginning of the escalation of free speech suppression. Mr. Obama also handed internet control from the department of Commerce to ICANN and IANA which connected it to the European Union control. This manipulation has set in motion an attack on free speech. After Elon Musk made the Twitter move, the EU immediately passed the Digital Services Act and they sent a letter of warning to Mr. Musk about internet rules. Also Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton started tweeting about the need to control misinformation and then the Mr. Biden announced the disinformation governance board development in the Homeland Security Department. I bind the weaponization of government against free speech. I decree the government will not manipulate laws to take away free speech. Free speech is a constitutional right and most of all a Godly right. Joshua Phillipps recently on Crossroads on Epoch TV reported on this violation of free speech issue and its history. The Hunter Biden laptop suppression and the Russia hoax relates to this issue as well. His truth is marching on. Mrs. Jankowitz pushed these two false narrative. One who promotes false narratives is in charge of protecting against false information. This is a boomerang season in American government I decree.

Lord, we thank you that many of our Founding Fathers were Godly men who valued your Word and your Son Jesus Christ. Continue to inspire and convict our political leaders to follow your precepts and commandments with unwavering faith.

Father, we ask that this board would go down and not be able to be the official government voice to silence opinions. Preserve our nation from this silencing of freedom of speech.
ABBA we lift up our country, our leaders and our media in all forms. We pray that you break off strongholds of deception and lies and fear and release freedom, hope and truth. That anyone who would attempt to speak lies over the airwaves would not be able to speak. That truth would go out far and wide over the airwaves and many many souls would be saved and praise for Your goodness and faithfulness and love would multiply hugely. In Jesus ‘ mighty, awesome, miraculous name we ask.
Please Lord, God only let the TRUTH come out to the people of America. Please let only the TRUTH come out of the mouths of the media, even if they didn’t mean to say something, let our Father in Heaven be talking through them so only the TRUTH comes out…in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen
