Republican senators Jerry Moran of Kansas, Steve Daines of Montana (IFA Pray with America’s Leaders guest), and more are pushing the U.S. to reopen its embassy in Ukraine.
From The Daily Wire. Two Republican senators have called on Secretary of State Antony Blinken to reopen the U.S. Embassy in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv as Russia shifts its military focus to other areas of the nation.
Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran and Montana Sen. Steve Daines shared the request in a letter on Tuesday that was obtained by Politico. They reasoned that Ukraine appears to have staved off Russia’s attempt to seize the capital….
“Ukraine faces enormous military, economic, and humanitarian challenges as a result of this war,” they said.
In addition to Moran and Daines, at least one additional Republican senator has expressed support for the nation’s embassy to restore operations to Ukraine.
“It’s time,” Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), an Army veteran, told Stars and Stripes last week. “We have numerous American [non-governmental organizations] operating in Ukraine, thousands of Americans who never left, and American news operations in the country. It’s time to return – and show Ukraine, and the world, our enduring commitment to their freedom.”
The U.S. announced it was relocating its embassy operations from the capital of Kyiv to the city of Lviv shortly before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began in February.
On Feb. 24, the day Russia began its invasion of Ukraine, a State Department spokesperson announced the team would be working from Poland….
“We will continually assess the security situation to determine when it may be safe for U.S. government personnel to return to Ukraine to conduct diplomacy on the ground and provide in-person consular services,” the spokesperson added….

Lord, let the truth be revealed and all those that are disguised as something they are not be exposed for the benefit of the innocent and downtrodden in the name of Jesus
I would hope that the U.S. would wait until this war is over before trying to re-establish diplomatic relations. I pray that the war would end soon, and that Putin will indeed be held accountable for his war crimes and atrocities. I pray for all of the people whose lives have been upended, destroyed, and separated from loved ones. It is truly an unfortunate atrocity. Our diplomatic ties with Russia are definitely strained as a result of this catastrophe. I just don’t think that this is the time to be trying to re-establish diplomatic relations with Ukraine. We are wiser , in my opinion, to support Ukraine in the ways that we have been. I hope that these people do benefit from our support.

May God be honored and glorified in Ukraine through our Americans and United States Embassy! May He be glorified through all the prayers of the Ukrainians and Americans and all the people around the world who are watching and praying.
God is not deaf that He cannot hear, and His hand is not too sort that He cannot reach down to help these people who are in extreme dire situations.
We pray for manna from heaven, and food for those who are trapped.
Abba Father that you in your mercy would distract the Russian soldiers and courageous people would deliver food into very dangerous situations. The power of God should take down their enemies,destroy the evil one. Protect the innocent and watch over the the children and babies who are helpless
We ask for a divine end to this war. Pour out your spirit on Putin , and all those who are a part of this evil war pour out your spirit and bring conviction.
Send an increase of light exposing the evil their hearts, that he might reconize his wrong doing and repent. Call him to repentance! May your voice be loud, so loud that you are getting his attention. Reach him in your best way, in ways I cannot even imagine.
Give Putin and many others a Damascus experience and if he is not ready to repent, would you call him out of office?
