Florida’s Senate passed a law to protect pre-K-3rd grad kids from being groomed sexually with gender indoctrination. The vote passed by 22-17 and now is being sent to Governor DeSantis to sign.
From The Post Millennial. The anti-groomer law banning gender identity indoctrination in Florida’s pre-K through third-grade classrooms was approved Tuesday by the state’s Senate and sent to Republican Governor Ron DeSantis for signing.
House Bill 1557, known as the Parental Rights in Education Bill and dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by left-wing activists, passed by a 22 – 17 vote.
The legislature bans teachers in those grade levels from teaching about sexual orientation or gender identity. The bill also allows parents to sue school districts if the policy is violated. Proponents of the pro-parental control law say the bill gives decision-making power back to the parents over their children’s education….

I declare and decree more Governors and leaders across America will stand up for children. I am asking you Lord to expose the covid corruption concerning the vaccines. I declare that justice will come to the people in our government at all levels who intentionally blocked effective covid treatments and authorized less than optimal medical protocols and even harmful avenues. I am asking that an investigation with full exposure to come to Dr. Anthony Fauci for his part in the covid corruption. Lord, I thank You for governors DeSantis and Abbott.(Texas) and the strong stance they are taking to protect our children. I pray that more governors will follow Your will and turn this nation around! Lord, we pray for President Biden, that the blinders be removed from his eyes and the walls around his heart be torn down; that he may hear and follow Your will to turn this nation back to a God fearing and loving Christian nation where You are glorified!

I wish they had gone further as even older children should not be “pressured” by any adult in the school or during any school activity.
The fact that 17 were still in favor of it is frightening. Schools should not be teaching any of this stuff at any age. It should be up to the parents how they choose to instruct their own children.

It’s a start. So what happens in 4th grade? Is it still ok for a nine year old to be taught about sex (straight, gay or otherwise) by a teacher?
This sentiment was originally from Ruth Bell Graham. She said., to paraphrase, that if GOD didn’t come and judge America, HE was going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.
I am sickened by all the wickedness and perversion in our country. And how much worse things are now than when Mrs. Graham made that statement.

Sad that common-sense has long since departed so many areas of Life in theses United States. Anti-Groomer really hits the nail on the head. Where age appropriate used to be the basis of Education (Calculus is not for first graders), nowadays there is (il)logic that does not apply to this topic. Of course children need to be protected, often from themselves. Again, to have to explain such a basic truth just underscores the moral morass of Society. Childhood is such a short period of time anyway, and now as a society/culture we are taking even those few innocent years from them? This agenda in public schools to sexualize children at such young ages is pure evil. Most parents can’t afford private school or to home school, but people may have to ban together to home school or more churches may need to offer pre-school and earlier grades as an alternative to sacrificing our children on the altar of public, leftist, godless policy. The bill does not go nearly far enough. There should be NO teaching of sexual orientation or gender identity at ANY age in our schools. This is a parents job. Shame on these school officials and teachers for what they are doing to our children. I pray that parents get involved and say no you will NOT do this to our children and put a stop to what is happening in the school system.
As a person who was born in the last century United States which regarded freedom, morality, and the protection of all children especially from the evils of sexual corruption, I am appalled by the behavior of those who think that children should be exposed to homosexuality, transgenderism, pornography and other sins of the human body. I don’t think young children should have access to internet sources either. Children were meant to be innocent and not miniature adults. Any adult who encourages these things for children should listen to Jesus.

Lets put cameras in all public funded class rooms as well. The public should be involved in government worker union bargaining, not some rubber stamp elected official.

I said something similar to my husband as a JOKE when the Community College where I worked 6 years ago began buying in to this identity garbage. “Should I demand a litter box in the ladies room because I identify as a cat 🐈 ?” I’m horrified to see this is happening! I thank you Lord for a righteous Governor in Florida who looks out for the innocent children and what they are exposed to. I think this law should apply to all grades through 12. This is not a subject that should be in the school
curriculum at all! I pray for the safety of Governor DeSantis and his family throughout his time in serving as Governor, and for the safety of all leaders who stand for righteousness in their states.
This bill is the right thing to do for parents, for children, and for the longevity of our country. Thank God for true leaders like DeSantis in this world who haven’t sold their soul to the devil for power and wealth.

As a retired educator, it is just hard for me to believe we are even having these types of discussions. School should never be a forum for sexual orientation of any kind, especially at young ages. It’s school! Reading, writing and ‘rithmetic, right? I am so thankful Florida has passed a law that will help prevent using our children as political pawns.
Kids of this age can be so impressionable. They do not have the emotional or mental maturity to really grasp the adult concepts on which the left seems bent on subjecting them.

It’s about time states recognized the right of a child’s well being and that of the parents choices of what is right and honorable for their children. I am blessed to live in a state in which the government leadership recognizes God above all and the rights of all families regardless of race, religion, rich or poor.

I am surprised but not shocked the federal government considers 3rd grade, age appropriate for sex education & gender directives.
I want to know who the 17 in FL legislation voted against parents rights to protect and raise their children.
I shudder to think what those 17 are teaching their own kids at home. May God protect their children from the evil surrounding them.
