I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Lord Jesus Christ, we pray that your Bride, the Church, would model listening, forgiveness, compassion, and healing in this country.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. (Jas 1:19)

About a dozen Christian leaders shared their reactions to Charlottesville on a Friday conference call organized by Civilitas Group president Doug Birdsall.’We want to hear of the pain and anger from African American leaders, and we want to hear the resolve and commitment from white leaders,’ stated Birdsall, past leader of the Lausanne Movement and the American Bible Society, in an explanatory email. ‘We also want to hear the pain and anger from white leaders, and the resolve, commitment, and vision of African American leaders.’

The call came amid public condemnations of white supremacy and racism issued by the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and the World Evangelical Alliance. ‘Racism should not only be addressed after tragic events, but regularly in our communities of faith,’ stated the NAE. ‘Churches in the United States can lead the way in combatting attitudes and systems that perpetuate racism.’ . . .

‘This is a time to listen, to lament, and to pray,’ wrote Birdsall. ‘Planning and action will follow.’

‘I believe that our African American friends in Christ need to hear a clear voice for words of encouragement,” he wrote, “to provide a context for working together, to provide for accountability, and to provide context for celebrating progress in a growing movement to drive out hate with love.’

‘In times of national tragedy and crisis, evangelical Christians turn to the Word of God for direction,’ stated the NAE. ‘God created human beings in his image, and thus all people share in divine dignity (Genesis 1:26). No race or ethnicity is greater or more valuable than another. Evangelicals believe that the good news of Jesus Christ has the power to break down racial and ethnic barriers (Ephesians 2:14-18).”

The NAE noted that ‘evangelicalism within the United States is a diverse movement, with evangelical beliefs being held by 44 percent of African Americans, 30 percent of Hispanics, 29 percent of whites, and 17 percent of people from other ethnicities’ according to LifeWay Research. I agree there is only one race: human. In the early 1990’s our family stopped using the word race and only referred to one human race. From that time whenever we are asked to check boxes with predetermined “races” already printed: we check “other” and fill in the blank with “one human race.”

We once had a census taker who refused to accept our “human race” and threatened us with a fine if we did not identify with our skin color. We refused to compromise on this issue. We are not to judge by outward appearances.

Dear Father in Heaven
I join with other Christian patriots in the full authority and power given by Jesus Christ, through His Blood, His Name, His Word, and through the written and legal authorization given to all believers in the issuance of this command—That all assignments from hell to destroy this nation be bound immediately from their intended destination and purpose—and returned to the evil sender void, vacant and powerless. We command with full authority and power of Jesus Christ that no fiery darts may come near our President, his family, his administration, his cabinet, and other friends and patriots either connected now or during the campaign—they are hereby protected through the name and blood of Jesus Christ.

We command that No assignment from hell shall destroy this nation as we have the power and authority, as a Christian nation, to command dark demonic forces to leave and to never return. Our God is greater than anything on this earth, and it is written that all evil forces must submit to the name of Jesus Christ, as His name is the only name under heaven, our King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Hallelujah!

Thank you Father, that you have seen the need for corporate prayer, and have provided the power and authority to use your Words, examples and judgement, to discern the powers of darkness. We will hereby use the authority given from you by Jesus to pray as warriors in the defense of this Christian nation.
Amen.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. Listen to advise and accept discipline, and at the end you will be counted among the wise. Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to lose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense, Jesus Christ, the righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. For my determined purpose is that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and more clearly. And that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection, the power it exerts over believers ; and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed in spirit into His likeness even to His death. He will be a tree planted by the water that sends out its root by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit. The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? I the Lord search heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfected of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, to continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. In Jesus name! Amen.

Dear God, thank you for your amazing Love and perfect Spirit.
We come before you to ask that the spirit of perversion may be rebuked in the whole USA nation in the NAME OF JESUS. This enemy perverts the perfect image of the creation of God, being it sons and women of all colors, and the enemy has perverted the vision and respect towards each of those, creating war and the need to feel higher in place; We rebuke the spirit of Vanity and Pride, and destruction and Hate, by the Power of the Name of Jesus. We ask your Powerful might Angels of UNITY to be placed in all FOR corners of this nation : NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST.
Dear God pour your SPIRIT of UNITY, and convince the whole Nation with your Spirit for repentance and humility, Oneness, Love and compassion!
Dear Father, may repentance go over all this Nation, so we can be indeed a UNITED STATES of AMERICA, and honor Your Holy name and the Flag of this country!
In the Name of Jesus, AMEM!

Race is not a Biblical reality. You will not find it in Scripture. Nations, tribes, languages? Yes. Race? No.

Race is a counterfeit issue based on physical features and the amount of pigment in the skin. I decided about a year ago to refuse to use the term or cooperate with efforts to pull me into this false narrative, including any medical or business or government forms I am required to complete, or any institutions — this includes anyone asking about my “race.”

There is only one race: HUMAN.
As Jesus said, ” … the Truth will set you free.” Think about that.

Wise words.

I’m white.

We have a biracial son.

The flag and kneeling controversy…and the radicals threatening violence…distract too many of us from the underlying pain and true injustices.

As a child I remember similar angers and division…during the 1960s…

Listening is a start…
