As more and more documents are being declassified by Attorney General Bill Barr and others, it is becoming more and more apparent that President Trump’s continual cries of “Fake news!” are not mere sensationalism. Indeed, we are seeing exactly what the Bible tells us from Proverbs 10:6:
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. (Proverbs 10:6 ESV)

More truth is coming to light every day that shows us how the wicked, corrupt politicians in America (and their cohorts) are using the mainstream media as their mouthpiece:
- Corrupt politicians are weaponizing illegal leaks to the media in order to go after innocent people.
- Prominent figures in media are married or romantically involved with corrupt politicians, and are therefore roped into fake journalism.
- “Fake news” is being used to manipulate and control the American people, instilling fear, hatred, anger, and paranoia in many that is later revealed to be completely unfounded.
There is little doubt left that the mainstream media is the mouthpiece of the Deep State. Corrupt politicians are not even trying to hide their crimes anymore with actions; they are simply using the words of the media to conceal their violence.
Is this not what God predicted in Proverbs 10:6? That the wicked would not use their actions to conceal their sins, but would rather only use their words—their mouth to conceal their violence? Yes; in their arrogance, the wicked and corrupt puppetmasters of America are relying on the flimsy covering of mere words to attempt gain power and evade punishment.
The good news is that, because the mouth and words of the wicked are a flimsy covering indeed, our prayers can shut their mouthpiece and expose the deeds of the wicked.
We serve a God who shut the mouths of lions.
When Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, God shut the big cats’ mouths such that they did not harm even a hair on Daniel’s head. However, when the wicked were thrown into the same den of lions the next morning, Daniel 6:24 tells us that
And the king commanded, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and cast into the den of lions—they, their children, and their wives. And before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces. (Daniel 6:24 ESV)
Did you catch that? Those lions were so fierce and hungry that they overpowered the wicked and broke all their bones in pieces before they reached the bottom of the lions’ den. BUT GOD shut the mouths of those same animals and did not allow even a smidgen of harm to come to His prophet Daniel.
If our God can shut the mouths of violently hungry lions, He can certainly shut the mouthpiece of the wicked in America—the fake news mainstream media.
And if God can expose documents and facts that reveal how very fake the fake news is—and how false the accusations of corrupt politicians are—then we can and should pray:
- For God to convict lying journalists and bring them to confess their sins publicly and repent to God and the American people.
- For God to interrupt and silence every lying media broadcast that insists on spreading unrighteousness.
- For God to save every journalist who is willing to be saved.
- For God to remove every journalist who has given themselves over to a degenerate mind, refusing to be saved.
We must have truth in media again, and we must pray specifically if we are going to see this “mouthpiece” of the wicked STOP concealing the violence of the Deep State.
Pray this with me:
Father God, in Jesus’ name, I thank You that You are the God who shuts the mouths of lions. You are God who saves and spares the righteous in the day of trouble.
So Abba Father, right now, I ask that You would begin exposing the corrupt media just like You have been exposing the corrupt politicians of the Deep State. I ask that every journalist with an ear to hear You and an eye to see You—every journalist who is of a willing heart—would be saved. I ask You to chase after them like the Hound of Heaven in order to convict them of their sins, show them Jesus, and bring them to repentance.
But Father, for every journalist who has given themselves over to a degenerate mind, who will not be saved and refuses to bow the knee to Your Son Jesus, we ask You Lord to remove them.
We speak to every unholy journalist in America, and we say: “Be saved or be removed, in Jesus’ name.”
We speak to every unholy news broadcast in America, and we say: “Broadcast truth and righteousness, or be silenced and removed, in Jesus’ name.”
We speak to every false narrative and every lie that the corrupt news media and corrupt politicians have fostered, and we say: “Be exposed and brought into the light of Jesus Christ. Be exposed for what you truly are, in Jesus’ name.”
Father, we ask that the American people would rise up against the lies pushed upon them by the mouthpiece of the wicked—the fake news media. We ask that You would pour out Your wisdom and discernment upon all Americans by Your Holy Spirit, and we ask that fake news would no longer be tolerated by the American people.
We also ask, Lord, that righteous journalists would rise up and take every place currently occupied by the wicked. We ask that righteousness and justice would thunder from every media desk in America, and that the airwaves would be filled with holy words, not false words. We ask in the mighty name of Jesus that no more would the news media be allowed to push lies and foster false narratives in the ears of the American people.
Father, we ask that You would completely silence the mouth of the wicked that is concealing violence. Reveal and expose every unholy thing that the media has been hiding, and use the truth to set America free into the service and worship of Your Son.
In Jesus’ holy and precious name, amen.

I totally agree that the major news networks have an ungodly agenda. I believe that they have done this for so long that they believe it is the right thing to do. If we truly believe that we should allow Almighty God to be in charge in these United States, then we will seek sources for news that tell the truth. We must also pray for the individuals who do what is right in God’s eyes. That God would protect them ,spiritually and physically, as well as their families from retaliation and possible death threats and follow throughs. The lies and deceit has been going on for so long and people who are benefitting from it aren’t going to just go quietly unless it’s by God’s power and grace.
Prayer: Precious Heavenly Father,
We pray that you open the eyes of the understanding of the leaders in this Nation that are trying to overthrow the U. S. Constitution. Lord, they are dismantling what our Founders fought, sacrificed and prayer to You for. Lord, silent the fake media, we pray. We know our Stand over your Word to perform it. Therefore, we pray now, that “no weapon formed against our President, Attorney Justice, Secretary of Defense, Michael Lynn and all God believing and obeying leaders to prosper and that NO weapons formed against them can prosper” Lord, we bleed the blood over the enemies of Freedom and those who lie and deceive. Those drunk with seeking power be removed from every office in this land. AND Lord, we pray that the Bible would be returned as required Curriculum in our public schools. No one could read/study Revelation without realizing we need God and need to believe and pray daily.
Lord, we pray, that this Republic be preserved–against all odds– and that those who evil be removed from office. We ask all this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
Several weeks ago the LORD gave me Psalm 64. This is what I’ve been praying:
64 1 David prayeth against the fury and false reports of his enemies. 7 He declareth their punishment and destruction. 10 To the comfort of the just and the glory of God.
To him that excelleth. A Psalm of David.
1 Hear my [a]voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the [b]conspiracy of the wicked, and from the [c]rage of the works of iniquity.
3 Which have whet their tongue like a sword, and shot for their arrows [d]bitter words:
4 To shoot at the upright in secret: they shoot at him suddenly and [e]fear not.
5 They [f]encourage themselves in a wicked purpose: they commune together to lay snares privily, and say, Who shall see them?

I’m praying in agreement with every word in the mighty name of Jesus the Lord of all the earth.
Here are 2 passages of scriptures the Lord gave me to pray over the Media. The first is for conviction and repentance. The second is for those who seek to know and report the truth. Psalm 59:12-13 (NKJV) 12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, Let them even be taken in their pride, And for the cursing and lying which they speak. 13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, That they may not be; And let them know that God rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Fakes News is a double edge sword. So truth to be believed and received must be told by all. It is not. There is no humility, integrity or accountability just the blame game. I pray for Abba Father to reveal his truth to us all. I pray especially for my beams and then the motes I see in others.

Father in Heaven, it seems most people in the mainstream media (the media establishment) are political wolves wearing the sheep skins of journalism. We ask you to strip the sheep’s clothing off the wolves and remove those wolves from their positions of influence. We include he owners and editors. We ask for true journalists to be protected and established in place of the wolves. We ask this in Jesus’ name.

I agree wholeheartedly with this prayer.
I ask that You will bring strong conviction of sin and the fear of the LORD on those reporters, journalists, and others who have been involved in the fake news media.
I ask You to give courage to them so there will be many many whistleblowers who tell the truth about what is being done and what was done in the past.
Thank You that You will not allow these truth-tellers to be silenced or their testimony to be distorted.

I have never replied to this before but I would like to share with you what I believe the Lord put on my heart during a recent regular prayer meeting with some of my fellow pastors. It just seemed to go right along with what was written in this article.
In this morning’s pastor’s prayer meeting I believe the Lord impressed upon me that He was peeling back the façade of many people and organizations. I initially sensed God was going to do that to individuals, communities, states, nations, and throughout the world. I saw this as God peeling back the large locked doors of façade that were hiding sin. The first doors were simply made of a type of rice paper. You could see shadows of people behind them and often clearly hear what they were saying. These people were going to be exposed as God peeled back the doors. The next doors were made of wood. They were more secure than the ones made of rice paper. They were harder to break through. You could not see the shadows through them, but you could hear muffled voices and make out some of what was being said, especially when those people were shouting at one another. These people were going to be exposed as God peeled back their doors. The third doors were made out of metal. They were far more secure than the first two. They were much harder to break through and the people felt far more secure that their secrets were safe. However, these people were going to be exposed as God peeled back their doors. The fourth doors were like massive walk-in bank vault doors. The people behind these doors were sure nobody would ever know what was going on behind their doors. They were so sure of this; they would do things in nearly careless ways because of their arrogance and a false sense of secrecy. These people were going to be exposed as God peeled back their doors.
To many people, the rice paper doors would be the easiest to peel back. The following doors would grow in difficulty until you got to the bank vault doors which would seem to be impossible to peel open. However, then the Lord put a picture in my mind of Him peeling back the doors starting with the rice paper doors. For God, each door was no more difficult to peel back, even the bank vault doors. They were all the same to Him because He is omnipotent (all-powerful). Nothing is too difficult for God. Matthew 19:26 states, “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
I thought this was the end of this impression, but then I sensed the Lord further impress upon me an even stronger message, “And this will all begin with the church.” One of the other pastors reminded us of the passage in 1 Peter 4:17, “For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” Before Christians get too smug thinking we are immune to this, God will begin with us because we should know better having God’s Word, the Bible. I was reminded of what God revealed to Ezekiel in Ezekiel 8 of the hidden detestable things done by God’s people that in verse 7 God states, “…things that will drive me far from my sanctuary”. Even the prophet Isaiah dealt with this and in Isaiah 29:15 God states, “Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the LORD, who do their work in darkness and think, ‘Who sees us? Who will know?’”
As we continued to pray, our prayers were for deep repentance followed by God’s magnificent and abundant grace. It could not simply be a feeling of sorrow because we were caught in our sins and then superficially asked for forgiveness. Our prayer was for God, by His Holy Spirit, to bring deep life-changing repentance to His people followed by His amazing grace.
Yes, the comments at the end are so important! Judgment must begin at the house of God.

I completely agree with Jamie’s prayer – However – included should be “If this is God/Jesus’ will – Not anyone’s will.”
Believers may ask in Jesus name for anything, but a believer must accept & submit to what His answer to their prayer will be.
Only He is sovereign. Only He already knows the end. Only He has a (perfect) plan.
We must pray that christinn people that are acquainted with the media , would share the gospel with them . This is the only way , for they must accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour.

I agree with your prayer, but must differ with the scripture you quote. The bible says, ‘For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, they have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.’ I Timothy 6:10. It also says, in James 3:8, ‘The tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.’ In these desperate times, we must know the Word of God, or we will be deceived. Matthew 24:24. So much of the spiritual battle we’re seeing is a love for money and power, and is against God’s rule in the earth. Search the scriptures so that you know, not think you know what it says. So very important in this hour.

The communist Chinese government has had much control over the media and aspects of our culture that we are not even aware of yet. May what is hidden be revealed by the power of God! May it come out and be severed! Cut off! Dried up! In the precious name of Jesus!!

The journalists of mainstream media are employees of the radical left. Mainstream media is owned by radical leftists. I recall the horrible impact the media had on the outcome of the Vietnam war. Father- forgive us for being distracted and busy with so many things that we have not been praying and participating in all that is going on in our nation like we should. Show us how to actively engage the culture with regard to the issue of the press lying and not being the voice of truth to hold people accountable. I ask you to bring journalists out of the places where they are not seeking to know truth. Help them to remember why they got into this field in the first place- to seek and pursue truth- not someone’s agenda. You have been delivering many who have been working in abortion clinics and bringing them to the side of truth. Please help journalists to do the same. Grant them courage and willingness to take a stand. Help others to rally around them with support as it will be a costly stand. Father- deliver us from lying tongues. May truth prevail in our nation.

Dear Father in heaven, I pray for this principality of darkness, the spirits of deception, perversion, and witchcraft be broken and to release its hold over our country. Release the captives in the media from its evil control. Open their eyes to the truth. To all who can be saved, deliver them from the grip of this demonic influence in Jesus name. Raise up new sources of media with people with integrity who practice their trade to communicate the news without bias. Lord, enlighten the Church to understand the influence the media has on our society and guard our hearts from the power of their deception. Make them powerless dear God, where their lies can be seen for what they are. Expose their evil deeds for all to see. Open the eyes of the American people to see they have been used as pawns by the media that has brought such division an chaos. I pray for the full weight of justice to be brought upon these people. May their seditious acts be exposed and may they be prosecuted for all violations of the law.

The word of God is a two edged sword to speak against lies of the enemy. Speak it! The gates of help will not prevail. Get in the word& use it. There is a lack of God’s word in the land. Get in the word&learn wisdom in the knowledge of God’s holiness.
the only reason the wicked and exist is because it is in the church, false doctrine, and instead of having Apostles and prophet run churches [apostles who do mighty miracles], we have Master Pastor/priest to hear from God Almighty for you. It was Jesus who did away with the Priest/Master Pastor system and gave us Apostles & prophets, but the church doesn’t like Apostles and Prophets who tell them to quit sinning, so the problem is the CHURCH and Its Fake News: 1st Corin. 12:28 & 2nd Corin 12:12. Clean up the church and the world will change. 1 Peter 4:17-18
17 For the time (is come) for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if (it begin) first at us, what (shall be) the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?

2chron7:4-7/12-14. We often quote this text of scripture without any commitment. I couldn’t agree with the more. The church is a Gospel prophetic band which speaks without let or hindrance, however, idiosyncrasies have coloured our visions and we are not able to see anything wrong with those who are in “our good books” we are prepared to let them run riot on any thing the church is grounded on, ethical and moral principles, they scandalise the witness front and we have no qualms about it, because they have perfected their demagogueic art. Blaming a non believer is no brainer and an abdication of the prophetic responsibility and duty of the prophetic mandate of the church and this is very dangerous going forward. Until we come to terms with the fact that we are in the world, but not of the world, we will be turning swords against each other. I agree with the prophetic prayer.

In the long term, we need to pray that godly people will be moved into editor/director/management positions in the news media, as those people exert much control over the tilt/balance of the news.
The Chinese own controlling interests in most news media platforms (including Hollywood film studios) so we need to pray for salvation at the highest levels of the of the Party of the Peoples’Republic of China. In fact, the Chinese will prohibit distribution in China (a BIG market) unless films are edited to fit their propaganda narrative. Members of the Clinton family and former members of the Obama administration are President and Executive Producers at ABC, CNN and CBS. For Twitter pray for Jack Dorsey and for Facebook, CEO Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg. George Soros exerts control over thirty news outlets (including the networks above) and multiple newspapers e.g. NYT, Washington Post, Associated Press, etc. He’s another good one to put on your prayer list, if he isn’t already.

Father God, Most Holy and Sovereign over all, we humbly come before you with this prayer. We serve a great God and nothing is beyond what You can do. Father, we pray for our Brothers and Sisters still blinded by the lies of the enemy, the lies of the media and we ask their blinders be removed to see the truth of evil within our govt, within our media and we pray that no longer to be tolerated across the airwaves brought into our homes. We pray Lord that their lies would be so twisted as to prove each lie for what it is.
Lord, You Created this nation, avery unique nation with a powerful set of documents the We The People have dominion over our Gov’t, and it is time for Your people, the remnant of this land through prayers and petition to You be willing to stand, to stand for Your Righteousness, Your Justice having pur feet shodded at the ready to overtake the public square, the education system and every other place of influence Your enemy has over Your people.
