I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, we pray for more Christians to vote biblical values than ever before. Stir your Church in America to vote Your values.
Reading Time: 3 minutes

When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2)

WE MUST VOTE TO UPHOLD AND MAINTAIN THE CONSTITUTION

Our Founders made it clear that our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people; for example:

George Washington, our first president, said in his farewell speech, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.” 1

JOIN OUR MARCH FIRST FRIDAY PRAYER CALL TODAY, MARCH 6, TO LEARN ALL ABOUT HOW THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST PRAYED FOR ELECTION IN HISTORY, WITH APPEARANCES BY SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS AND GOV. MIKE HUCKABEE

John Adams, our second president, wrote, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” 2

Also, the Constitution was ordained and established by the People of the United States as stated in the preamble of the document: “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union …… do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Now, whatever is “ordained and established” has to be maintained. We see this clearly in two examples:

  • A marriage is “ordained and established” at the time of the wedding, but if it is not maintained the initial love soon grows cold leading to an eventual divorce.
  • A house is “ordained and established” when it is built or purchased, but if the owner fails to maintain it, it also soon deteriorates.

Consequently, as Christians, we must be involved in the governing of our nation to uphold and maintain our Constitution – and the primary way to do this is to vote.

WE MUST VOTE BECAUSE GOD’S WORD EXHORTS US TO DO SO

God’s sovereignty over governing authorities, and our responsibilities as Christians towards these governing authorities, are summarized in the statements below with the associated Bible verses.

  • All governing authorities come under God’s sovereignty.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves (Romans 13:1-2).

  • At the time of Moses, God established representative government with men who feared God.

Jethro said to Moses, “Select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens” (Exodus 8:21).

  • We are to be submit to the governing authorities.

Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right (1 Peter 2:13-14).

  • Petitions, prayers and intercession are to be made for those in authority.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

  • We are Christ’s ambassadors, including being His ambassadors in the privilege of voting.

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God (2 Corinthians 5:20).

In summary: “Our vote is our personal act of delegating God’s authority to a fellow citizen to serve God’s designated purpose of earthly civil government.” 3

The question that needs to be asked when it comes to voting especially for the Christians is why Christians so divided when it comes to making a decision on who to vote. If we are hearing from the one and true living God, then Christians should be voting for the same person, but we are not. Why is that? Because we are not walking in the Spirit. We are pleasing the flesh. If Christians do not be awaken soon, we are going to face such persecution like we never have before. I implore you to google a book called “Awakening the sleeping Giant by Billy Ray Driver”. He talks about how Christians are going to be persecuted and tormented, because we refuse to be awaken and be on one accord when it comes to the Word of God. Christians should never vote for a party per se. We should vote on what the candidate’d believe. God knows how to protect and sustain His people. He has proven that through His Word, The Bible. God I pray that Your people will be awaken in Jesus name and to vote according to Your Word and not man word in Jesus name.

Some, quite a few Christian’s are hell bent on ousting President Trump. They are totally ignorant of what good he has done for religious freedom. They were totally sold on the impeachment HOAX & pretty much approved pelosi ripping up the papers after the SOTU. They hate President Trump and refuse to pray for him. I was in a church where the congregation was encouraged to vote demoncrat during the caucuses as they did for obama. I was sickened by that given his track record. The fact that he embraced ssex marriage & supports abortions & partial birth abortions is a mute point to them. This is all the more scary to me. I have asked them if they believed in ssmarriage, abortions they said no. I said if you vote demoncrat you are voting against God’s WORD. They don’t care because they hate President Trump and want him out. They are even ignorant to what socialism is. The leadership talks against the President hence the congregation disregard. I pray they wake up.

Lord we pray Your will over this election. Lord I pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit in regards to the way we should vote. Open the eyes of Your followers that we can see the corruption, the Truth of killing babies through abortion, those who are lying, deceiving and evil minded against the people in America especially those following Christ. Lord help us see that it is not about which party we belong to or loyalty to them. Lord You are the one we are to follow, trust, know Your heart and Your Word. Thank you Lord for Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit and the Word. I pray for repentance and revival and turning from our wicked ways so that You will heal our land. (Nation) In Jesus precious name. Amen
