Pastor Tony Evans says something supernatural was happening during his wife Lois’ final moments on earth, and the family was there to witness it.

Lois Evans had been battling a rare form of cancer and the family had gathered around her in late December to say goodbye. At some point during their farewell moments, he says she began to speak about seeing “something outside earth’s realm”.

It seems she was catching a glimpse of family members in heaven, perhaps like the “cloud of witnesses” described in Hebrews 12:1.

During the recently held memorial service, Tony Evans, who is the senior pastor at the Oak Cliff Fellowship Church in Dallas, Texas, recalled what happened during Lois’ final days.

Pastor Evans said, “One of the things that I’ve observed in life and in scripture is that when people walk with God and He doesn’t take them suddenly, He will give them a glimpse of heaven while they’re still transitioning from earth. He will let them know, not only that it’s time, but it’s okay.”

He says while Lois was battling, they did receive good news that the doctors were surprised at how well she was doing, fighting a medically incurable disease. He credits the power of prayer for giving her more time on earth, saying, “You were praying for us, and we felt the prayers extending time.”

While they were given more time with her than doctors had predicted, in the end, her departure from earth came, and that’s when she glimpsed the spirit realm.

“Simultaneous to the time of her departure were things taking place that were letting us know she was dealing with something outside of the earth’s realm,” he said.

“For example, she said to some who were gathered in the room, ‘Do you see my mother? Do you see her? She’s right over there by the fireplace.’ Do you see her? Why can’t you see her? On another occasion, she said, ‘My father. There’s my father.’ And there was no one in the room physically. She was seeing something as the time of her departure got closer.”

Pastor Evans says she also appeared to get a message from beyond this earth about the time of her departure.

“She said, ‘Two days, two days, take me up.’ Two and a half days later she was gone. She heard something, she saw something as the time of her departure got nearer. Like Stephen in Acts chapter 7 who, when he was being stoned to death, he says he saw heaven opened and Jesus standing on the right hand of the Father giving him a standing ovation.”

“When the time of your departure comes, you want to be close enough to God that you can hear things that other folk can’t hear and see things that other folk can’t hear,” Evans said.

Prayer works!!! a few years ago, I felt led by the Lord to pray for a friend who had to have an operation. She was told! she had a 50/50 chance of survival. I didn’t know how to pray or what to say to a person whom the doctor had said she could possibly die if she has the operation and if she don’t have the the operation she could still die. I asked the Holy Spirit for help! to put the words in my mouth and to prayfor this precious friend! I decreed and declared that she will live and not die, and that her time is not yet! She has to fulfill her destiny and mission her on earth, and that the Lord will be with her in that operating room, with the ministering angels and that she will feel God’s presence and that the Lord will guide the doctors hands. The Operation was very successful, Praise God, thank you a Jesus! He heard and answered that prayer. Right after the the operation, when I saw her in the recovery room, I was speechless.I was seeing something in the supernatural. My friend is 78 yrs old. When I saw her, she didn’t look 78 yrs old. She looked like she was in her late twenties. I was seeing something in the supernatural. The Lord opened my spiritual eyes, so that I could see in the spiritual realm. She was beautiful and young looking, no wrinkles, her hair was white as snow, with curls and her face was shining bright and glowing. She was not wearing a hospital gown, she was wearing a beautiful white robe and she was sitting up and smiling. She looked at me and said “ You are an angel “ she quote this scripture verse: She could do all things, through Christ Jesus, who strengthens her.The doctor, the nurse and her family were there!!! they could not see what I was seeing, it’s like time stood still. I was in awe! I told her at the appointed time, when the Lord decides to take home. I know exactly, what she is going to look like! when she enters the heavenly realm. God bless each and everyone on of you.

My husband had cancer. We prayed and prayed. Drs were surprised he lived as long as he did. The drs took his feeding tube out too soon. He started starving. So they were going to put a pick in. We he went under he talked to the Lord. He woke up so excited then he went to sleep and never spoke of it again. He went to be with the Lord 11 days later. Thanks Lisa

Father, as P.Tony and family walk through the valley of shadow of death, they will not fear no evil, for You are with them, may Your Word comfort them, knowing You are preparing a table, filled with Your mercy and grace, before the enemies of our souls. Goodness and mercy shall follow them all the days of their lives and they will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Thank You Lord, for Your promise that You comfort those who mourn.
May You Lord be their source of strength and their song.
Bless You Lord.

Lord, bless Tony Evans. He is such a faithful man of Yours and he has endured so much this past year. Lord, give him a double blessing for all the trouble he has been through. Comfort him through his loss. Lord, as the Psalm says, heal his broken heart.

Dear Lord thank You for heaven. May You make Your faithful worthy to come into Your kingdom. May You Lord transform us to what You would have us to be. I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
