Last year, former Colorado county clerk Tina Peters was convicted and sentenced to prison over attempts to expose interference in the 2020 election. Now, over a year after her conviction, President Trump announced he is pardoning her.
Pray for your fellow intercessor.

President Donald Trump said on Dec. 11 that he is pardoning Tina Peters, a former Colorado county clerk convicted of election machine tampering in the aftermath of the disputed 2020 election.

Peters was convicted in Colorado state court in August 2024 of election-related charges, such as allowing unauthorized access to voting machines, and sentenced to nine years of incarceration.
Peters previously said on her website that her efforts as Mesa County clerk were aimed at upholding election integrity by “creating a forensic backdrop” of a county election server.
President Trump claimed in a Truth Social post that Peters was incarcerated “for the ‘crime’ of demanding Honest Elections.” He also called Peters “a Patriot who simply wanted to make sure that our Elections were Fair and Honest.”
Both Colorado Governor Jared Polis and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser claimed the President’s pardon is invalid, as presidents can only pardon those convicted of federal offences. However, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliana noted that the pardons protects Peters from future federal prosecution. Nevertheless, the Times says this pardon “appears to be symbolic.”
At IFA, we have covered the charged levied against Peters and the apparent abuse she is facing in prison. Let’s continue to pray that God would strengthen her, and let’s thank Him for this symbolic pardon!

I am from Colorado, and I have followed this all along. Tina Peters was convicted in a state court, but it seems to me to be a federal matter regarding voting in elections. I pray that this will NOT be only symbolic but an actual pardon that Governor Polis, AG Phil Weiner and Secretary of State, Jena Griswold cannot stop. I pray for God’s intervention for this child of God that righteousness and justice will be truly served for her and the people of Colorado.

It’s corrupt Colorado and those who wish to further squelch her voice and what she knows and the names involved that wish to keep her there! The pressure against these Colorado officials needs to be ramped up and everyone needs to be talking about WHO is holding back her being released so they can be tried in the court of public opinion!
Tina Peters received ni e years for attempting to insure that elections are fair, yet many murderers and rapists are given probation with these liberal judges. Nine years is a ridiculous sentence and I pray that GOD deals with all responsible for it. FATHER GOD please set Tina free immediately in JESUS NAME! Amen.

I think you have been misinformed about this. She is a child of God.
It’s because the injustice system has a huge problem of being enforced by corrupt people, and it needs to be reformed! Tina Peters is a political prisoner, and these evil people are able to keep her there because they want to verses their desire to protect the citizenry from murderers. It’s time to demand better of the system!
I pray for a miracle, that the liberal governor in Colorado be replaced by a conservative who would understand that Tina Peters was trying to do the right thing and she would be pardoned.

Let’s go a step further. Lets open a federal investigation into both the governor and AG of CO….complete with federal wiretaps, 24/7 drone spying, external building listening devices, etc. If we do that, I guarantee there will be enough evidence within a month to put them both in jail.
These are very corrupt leaders, who think nothing of breaking the laws on both federal and state elections and individual rights.
If we think we’re going to make progress in exposing them by playing “nice’, we won’t. I’m not saying that prayer isn’t the key to the entire mess but after living in CO for 17 years and then moving, I can tell you that state and its governing politics have made the deep slide into the abyss of corruption. It will not go away “‘playing nice” with these people. They are lawbreakers, not lawmakers and they do not care how they hold power.
Tina Peters was charged for giving unauthorized people access into secure areas and for copying and posting county’s election information online, both of which are illegal. If a Democrat had allowed Republicans access to a secure area, MAGA would be crying foul. Posting election results online is a violation of privacy that is behind an election. Even she thought there was election fraud, she should have done so legally.

I pray that the government officials in Colorado who are breaking the law would soon be held accountable for their crimes and end up with their rightful punishment.

and locked out of polling places before the votes were gathered, and photos of illegal votes were filmed being brought into those same polling

Only individuals who were preapproved to be in secure areas were allowed in. These rules were posted months in advance. I know of several cases where individuals calling themselves Republicans shown up (and often from other counties and states) and demanded access which was not preapproved and then posted something when they were turned away.
As pointed out, she knew that she was not to allow just anyone into a secure area.
You have believed propaganda, Susan. We know there was widespread election fraud. Machines connected to the internet for vote flipping (as designed). Tina is indeed an American heroine and political prisoner. Praying all will know ASAP!
It is easy to prove that rules were posted months in advance. Propaganda has nothing to do with it. Most of those claims were investigated and found to be misleading or outright lies.
I am from Mesa County and am very familiar with this case. There were things done wrong on both sides. What is being done to Tina for punishment is very wrong, and yes, the government in Colorado is extremely corrupt. On the other side, Tina’s heart was to expose the corruption, but it could have been done differently without illegal means (such as using someone else’s identity – I know the person whose identity was used). May the Lord have His way in all the hearts involved and may all corruption be exposed, and justice served according to His standards. He alone knows the full truth. That being said, Tina does need our prayers for her safety.
Wrong! There was election fraud and the evidence is there, but it continues to be suppressed.
You can be a shining light in prison for those who don’t know Christ as Savior and for those who have fallen away from Christ, and as long as you are there, keep the light burning.

“Father God, would You continue to forge ‘nerves of steel’ into Tina Peters as she celebrates Immanual, God with us during this Christmas season! God, she is courageous! She is a woman with convictions! How I admire her example! Let this Presidential Pardon encourage Tina to continue to fight the good fight of faith as a Patriot who loves the state of Colorado and the U.S.A. In Jesus name I pray this. Amen.”
Thank you for your update on Tina Peters. I remember how this all went down and as a CO resident for decades was appalled by the injustice actions of the current state government during the election.
Father we ask in your son’s name , that you comfort and strengthen her by the POWER of your HOLY Spirit in her inner man, surround her with your presence, protect her with your angels, and pour out your favor and grace upon her in the MIGHTY NAME of Yah’shuah Jesus Christ. King of all Kings!
Praying that we will return to our senses, and our knees, EARNESTLY SEEKING the only one who can Save. Just like with this season we are in, we have chosen to turn our Savior’s birth into a “holiday” that celebrates nothing much about or for him. I am sickened by how far away from him we are getting and we wonder why there is all this going on????? Even churches now days barely touch on his birth and its importance — putting up pagan idol trees Jeremiah 3 (some three and four across the stages.) Everyone gives each other presents while we give Jesus nothing. My prayer this year is that we return to celebrating him and not each other.
