On Wednesday, a gunman opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas, Texas. And, as the FBI investigates the shooting, the Daily Wire has compiled all the currently known information about the perpetrator, a 29-year-old man named Joshua Jahn.

Jahn allegedly opened fire on the ICE detention center from a nearby rooftop Wednesday morning, killing one illegal immigrant detainee and injuring two others before turning the gun on himself.

While an investigation into the incident is still ongoing, the shooter allegedly left bullet casings engraved with the phrase “ANTI-ICE” on them that revealed the “ideological motive” behind the attack, FBI Director Kash Patel revealed on X.

Patel revealed Thursday that the FBI found additional shreds of evidence upon searching his devices and writings.

In this post, Patel explains that the shooter was, among other things, searching for videos of the Charlie Kirk assassination and apps designed to track the presence of ICE agents. He also left behind a chilling note that read, “Hopefully this will give ICE agents real terror, to think, ‘is there a sniper with AP rounds on that roof?'”

Speaking of Charlie Kirk, this shooting took place exactly two weeks after the Turning Point USA founder’s assassination. As showcased by the small amount of time between these attacks, violence is on the rise in America, specifically left-wing violence.

As more info comes out about the shooter, let’s continue to pray for protection for ICE agents and all those in law enforcement!
