Some lies are so disturbing that intercessors must immediately fall to their knees in prayer. The lies told by the Left this week are quite overwhelming, but this is all the more reason to pray without ceasing.

The first lie told by the Left this week is serious and egregious. It revolves around the tragic mass shooting that took place at Annunciation Catholic Church and School in Minnesota. Transgender gunman Robert Westman killed two children and injured 17 others (14 of whom were minors) as he went on a hate-filled tirade that targeted Christians.

Attacker’s Trans Identity Ignored

Left-wing news outlets such as the New York Times ignored the shooter’s transgender identity, instead referring to Robert Westman as “the suspect,” “the attacker,” the “armed assailant,” or “Robin.” CNN’s Jake Tapper ignored biological reality by reporting, “She identifies as a female.”

The motive of the shooter was “a mystery” to these liberal journalists, who insist that transgender people are not mentally ill, but instead victims of conservative bias and hatred. Liberal-leaning articles neglected to mention the hormone therapy, which wreaks havoc on the mind and body of transgender people. Evidence that shows that up to 58% of trans-identifying individuals have at least one psychiatric diagnosis wasn’t considered.

Even more disturbing were the trans supporters on social media who praised the attack, citing it as revenge against Christianity and the Trump Administration for defining sex as biological.

Transgenderism is a Mental Illness

Leftists refused to focus on the real problem, which is the mental illness known as transgenderism. Additionally, they failed to emphasize certain details in Robert Westman’s manifesto, such as the satanic ideas and images contained within. Instead of addressing these points, the Left called for more gun control and mocked Christians who responded with prayer. All the while, videos posted by Westman “show the face of Jesus on a shooting target and a stockpile of guns and ammunition adorned with memes, anti-religious phrases, and odes to mass murderers.”

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh responded to the attacks by stating, “Trans terrorism is an epidemic… When you affirm the perverse fantasies of sick and delusional people…you are creating precisely this kind of catastrophe.” FBI Director Kash Patel called the attack a “hate-filled, barbaric act of domestic terrorism.”

The Left wants Americans to believe that transgenderism is normal and healthy. Meanwhile, they ignore the fact that even the killer, Robert Westman, admitted he had been brainwashed in his manifesto and confessed, “I am not well.” His journal declares, “I do it because I am sick.” The truth is that transgenderism comes from the Father of Lies, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Much prayer is needed for the deliverance of those who are caught up in this web of deception.

DNC Praises All Things Liberal

The next lie told by the Left this week involves the Democratic National Committee’s annual summer meeting, where Democrats reaffirmed their positions on DEI, open borders, transgender ideology, and lax crime policies.

The Left did not hold back when DNC chairman Ken Martin declared that he was “sick and tired of the Democratic Party bringing a pencil to a knife fight. We cannot be the only party that plays by the rules anymore.” Nonetheless, Democrats refuse to “play by the rules” when it comes to transgender ideology as they continue pushing it on Americans who have already made it abundantly clear that they don’t want or accept it.

Apparently, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison didn’t get the memo because his message to the audience was that “we are not going to scapegoat our transgender community.” He emphasized that President Trump has been sued over gender affirming care and thus, the Left will not give up the fight.

Christianity Was Built on DEI?

When it came to DEI, the lies really started flying. DNC committee member Bill Owen of Tennessee defended it, stating, “These are American values. This is what America was built on. And to my Republican friends and fellow citizens…who profess to be active Christians, I remind them that DEI is the very foundation of the Christian church. I get a little emotional on this, but Jesus loves little children. All the children of the world. Red and yellow, black and white.”

Dems Say Crime Isn’t a Problem

As if that weren’t enough, one DNC speaker suggested, “Don’t take the bait talking about migrant crime, or carjackings, or things that actually don’t matter to that many Americans.” Moreover, the speaker proposed that being tough on crime is “the winning play in the overall authoritarian playbook.”

The Left doesn’t seem to understand that all the things they are fighting for are the exact opposite of what Americans want. The 2024 election made it very clear that citizens rejected DEI, open borders, soft crime policies, and transgender ideology. Regardless, the Democrats are determined to move forward with their failed initiatives.

The truth is that Americans are sick and tired of Leftist politicians who cannot take no for an answer. No to DEI. No to gender ideology. No to open borders. No to soft crime policies.

America-First Teacher Certification Exam

The third lie told by the Left this week has to do with the Oklahoma Department of Education’s America-First certification exam for teachers. “The test, aimed at teachers fleeing left-wing strongholds (such as California and New York), seeks to ensure that teachers are comfortable” with Oklahoma’s values. The exam will help determine whether teachers can be certified in the state. Key topics covered include “foundational issues such as the U.S. Constitution, religion, and biological gender differences.” To pass, a teacher must get all questions correct.

The far-Left Oklahoma Education Association is fuming about the test, insisting that it’s a “political stunt to grab attention.” The American Federation of Teachers complained that it vilifies teachers and will only “exacerbate the state’s teacher shortage.”

No More Indoctrination

Superintendent Ryan Walters stated, “We will not allow these leftists’ plans and schemes to take place here in Oklahoma. They are trying to warp the minds of our kids to turn them into social justice warriors, instead of kids that are getting the most of their God-given talents to go get a good job, to go live a fulfilling life.” He explained that teachers coming from New York and California will “face special scrutiny” because they are “teaching things that are antithetical to our standards.” The goal is to make sure that these teachers “are not coming into our classrooms and indoctrinating kids.”

Examples of questions on the test include: “What is the fundamental biological distinction between males and females?” Another one says, “How is a child’s biological sex typically identified?”

Liberal Training Produced “Woke” Teachers

Superintendent Walters pointed to liberal governors such as Gavin Newsom, whose radical policies promoting gender theory and woke ideologies have been used to train teachers in California. He feels compelled to protect students in Oklahoma from these influences.

The Left wants the educational system to force gender ideology and other liberal values onto American students. Superintendents like Ryan Walters are sending a message that this will not be tolerated in his state. It’s high time that the Left woke up and left its wokeness behind for the sake of our nation’s children.

Lord Jesus, we need you more every day as lies and liberalism flood our nation. Give us the wisdom, courage, and strength to fight against the constant barrage of deception. Have mercy on America.
