After suffering through weeks of anti-Israel protests that have bordered on antisemitic, Jewish students are telling their campus and the world that they’re not backing down.
From The Daily Wire. Hundreds of Jewish students at Columbia University signed onto an open letter to the school community vowing not to back down in the face of protests in response to the Israel-Hamas war that caused a major disruption on the New York City campus.

Shai Davidai, a Columbia professor who last month said he was barred from campus as he tried to stage a sit-in at the site where the anti-Israel demonstrators had set up an encampment, and others shared the letter in a post to X on Wednesday.
According to the letter, the signees are “average students,” who say that those “who demonize us under the cloak of anti-Zionism forced us into our activism and forced us to publicly defend our Jewish identities.”
The letter expressed the view that the Jewish people have a “right to self-determination in our historic homeland as a fundamental tenet of our Jewish identity” and pushed back on claims that Judaism can be “separated” from Israel. …
The Jewish students said they are being “targeted for our belief that Israel, our ancestral and religious homeland, has a right to exist.” They also said the word “Zionist” is being misused as a slur that is “synonymous with racist, oppressive, or genocidal.” …
In concluding the letter, the Jewish students said, “One thing is for sure. We will not stop standing up for ourselves. We are proud to be Jews, and we are proud to be Zionists.” …

Heavenly Father, God of Abraham, please bless Your students in our universities and colleges–those same universities and colleges we so recently held the National Collegiate Day of Prayer and Fasting for! Cleanse the stain of hatred, violence and arrogance from these campuses. Bless those committed to righteousness and humility. Strengthen and encourage the Jewish students, teachers and administrators, assure them of Your protection and provision, let them never lose or doubt that Your chosen people will always be the focus of your attention and the delight of Your heart. Grant them Your unfailing courage and shalom.
YAHWEH ROI, our GOD who sees all, please protect our Jewish students and those that stand with them.
Confound the radicals that are being paid, and those who follow them blindly. We pray for Israel to triumph, and for Hamas, Hezbollah, Isis to get their signals all in disarray and not to be able to succeed. We pray for the hate that is fueling these terrorists groups to abate in YOUR NAME. We pray for those that stand with Israel. We pray Mark 11:24 for these things, asking and believing.
This is multifaceted. The shaking and the Aliyah. Interceding for Israel – I believe this is why the USA came in to being and the 1607 proclamation further cemented it – and causing the Church to become a Messianic Congregation and not a separate institution – Ekklesia (a governing body) – recognizing the Jewishness of Scripture.
So, now we pray:
Father in heaven, Yahweh, thank You for giving us the Jewish people. Thank You for making us a temporary sanctuary for Jews, but now You’re disquieting them so they can desire Israel, whether born there or not.
Father, they and we who are spiritual Jews are loved by You. Visit the protesters, many who are there just for the money, in dreams and visions like You did Pharaoh who had acquired Sarah for himself so that they would find favor with the Jews and repent and be saved promoting the Jews to also seek Yeshua as Savior..
I stand with these students! I stand with Israel!
Lord help then to stand strong!
I’m praying as I read what God says about the Jewish people, Jerusalem, and Israel. I’m standing with the authority of the LORD GOD of Abraham Isaac and Jacob(Israel). GOD BLESS and keep us all! 🙏
And let’s add non-jews who are standing up for fellow Jewish students as they will be targeted by the same evil 😈!!!!!! Actually we are just a step away from persecution as Jesus believers, or Christians!!! Stay true to the faith & don’t waiver!!!!!🙏
