May the Truth About Abortion Be Used for Good!
What if you could turn the pain of abortion into an opportunity for healing, not just for yourself, but even for our nation? There is an open door for you to do just that at Operation Outcry (operationoutcry.org).
Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.
In a nation where those who often have control of the microphone and the camera are consistently deceiving the public about abortion, public opinion is handicapped by false information. When the two big lies of the abortion industry — that abortion is good for women and that a child in the womb is only a clump of cells — are constantly communicated through media, the shedding of innocent blood is largely unchallenged.
The truth needs to be told that abortion kills a living baby and that abortion seriously harms women. The reality of the terrible pain many women experience because of abortion needs to overwhelm the shame that keeps it hidden, so that healing can begin.
Jesus said: “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:31–32 ESV). He also said: “So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36 ESV).
Operation Outcry is a ministry of The Justice Foundation, which is made up of over 4,000 women who confess they have been harmed by abortion. As the Lord calls women to join together as part of Operation Outcry, there’s often a deep healing from the aftermath of abortion, and also a redemption, as the women share their stories so that our nation will know the truth, hearts will change, and the injustice and harm of abortion will end.
The Lord has revealed that now is the time for the voices of the women (and men) harmed by abortion to be amplified and elevated until Satan’s agenda for abortion is utterly vanquished. Indeed, we overcome the evil one by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony as we love not our very lives even unto death (see Revelation 12:11).
If you have experienced abortion yourself, you can benefit from the healing experience of sharing your story with other women who have gone through the same. Once that door is opened, there is another door through which you can walk, where God can use your story to impact the very lawmakers who can bring an end to abortion and prevent others from making that same destructive decision.
Let’s rejoice together that God keeps our tears in His bottle and in His book (see Psalm 56:8), that we are forgiven as we confess our sins (see 1 John 1:9), that through His forgiveness there is restoration (see Romans 8:1), and that He calls us a new creation in Him (see 2 Corinthians 5:17). Let’s also remember that Scripture encourages us to walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil (Ephesians 5:15–16 NKJV).
Please pray about adding your voice to those of the women of Operation Outcry, so that healing may be released in your heart and in our nation, as the Lord leads. Click here to add your voice!

Thank you for Operation Outcry! There must be thousands, if not millions, of women sitting in our church pews across the nation holding inside themselves the heavy secret of an abortion they have had or been an accomplice to, and of men who helped or insisted that the woman in their life have one (or more). Our churches should be safe places where we welcome those confessions without condemnation and allow legitimate grieving and healing.
