Former President Donald Trump on Saturday swept to victory over Haley in South Carolina, her home state, where she once served as governor.
In an email obtained by NBC News, which was confirmed by two sources who received it, the network’s advocacy arm said that following Haley’s loss in South Carolina, the group no longer believes it can make a meaningful difference for her in the race, senior adviser Emily Seidel said. Instead, Americans for Prosperity Action will focus its resources down the ballot on House and Senate races. …
Politico first reported the decision. A representative for Americans for Prosperity, or AFP, did not respond to a request for comment.
The move is a blow to Haley as she vows to continue against Trump, who beat her by about 20 percentage points Saturday and captured all but three delegates.
AFP provided crucial support to Haley on the ground, mobilizing its vast network of grassroots political activists to help get the vote out for her in early states. The group also poured money into advertising, hoping to fuel her rise. AFP Action, a super PAC, spent more than $31 million boosting Haley in the race, according to Federal Election Commission data. …
When the group endorsed Haley in November, Seidel said AFP Action was looking for the best Republican “to turn the page on the current political era.” She said that candidate was Haley, with the group “better equipped to help her do it” than any other organization.
Even so, many longtime Koch-world operatives questioned the decision, seeing little chance for her to win the nomination.
Haley’s pathway has now all but closed, with Trump appearing to be cruising toward his party’s presidential nomination.

it’s very simple: If God wills Trump to win, he will win, and no devils in hell or their human counterparts on earthbcan stop it.
Haley is just another politician that falls in line with the deep state agenda and that is to put USA last. As far as her comment that Trump can’t beat Biden noone can in a system where demoncrats can cheat , lie, and rig elections to their advantage. Then our justice system sits on their hands and do nothing ie AG Barr’s comment there wasn’t enough voter fraud to change the results. He was wrong and showed me that he is part of the establishment. Illegal votes are like cockroaches, you find one in a room there are hundreds not seen without searching. Now compare that room to the whole country I believe that millions of illegal votes are counted for demoncrats. Nikki’s strong will to remain in the race makes me feel very uneasy. I am concerned that she has been told or promised something by the wealthy global elites that we do not know about. I pray daily for the safety of Trump. No, he is not perfect, but I believe he is the best man for the office and that God is using him for good and still working on him.

We need to be careful not to use this platform to push for the candidate we want but to pray for God’s will! We need to ask the Lord to show us who is more God honoring not just in policy but in the way they treat others! Jesus encouraged the Israelites who were living under ungodly governments not to overthrow the government but to PRAY for their enemies and to live out their faith with integrity, being a light in a dark and corrupt world. We need to ask God to show us who is doing that and pointing us to use our words and actions wisely. Our hope is not in a person but the Lord! We must remember that! Robert F Kennedy is the candidate to beat the two dinosaurs from the trad parties. We should be praying for this man! That his platform would be elevated into the main stream. Nikki Haley was a great Governor in SC. I should know. I lived there. I saw the before and after of our great state during her years as Governor. The way she unashamedly said she was a Christian and lived it . She brought in many high-tech businesses to our state. My husband was gainfully employed after all the engineering jobs were shipped out to India when we lived in NC for 5 yrs. I’m not sure why everyone is so in love with Trump? Can someone explain to me what would have to happen for her to be the presidential nominee? I’m young and unfortunately did not learn very much government in my public school experience.

We are on the brink of a serious war which could result in the deaths of millions of people and even though Donald Trump has served as president one term and was probably constantly appraised of the situation with our military, even now he seems completely oblivious to our danger and is focused on getting revenge against his enemies.

I beg to differ with my dear brothers and sisters in Christ who support MAGA. We need a leader who will restore order in our courts and law enforcement without causing us to turn against one another with bitter infighting, especially now with our enemies moving into position to strike.
I agree. Trump will win the nomination and then lose to whoever replaces Biden at the last minute. Praying that Trump will support new positive energy ; yes a new candidate to move us forward! Nothing is impossible with God.
Haley might make a competent POTUS in a peaceful world, but not the one we’re living in right now.
Donald Trump has already had one term in office, and he did not do much to slow the deterioration of our military. He is someone who divides rather than unites. Haley, however, seems to be able to draw support even from moderate Democrats. She has made her strong international policies clear while Donald Trump wants to appease the Russians. On the debate stage (Did you even watch or are you assuming a lot because she is a woman?), even when attacked from all sides, she did not lose her sense of humor, graciousness and composure. She was the adult on the stage. So, yes, she clearly is the one who can deal with war and conflict.
Praying for Trump to step aside. PRAYING FOR MORE PEOPLE TO LISTEN TO NICKI HALEY AND START SUPPORTING HER. Praying for more and more people to earnestly pray about the candidates and be guided by our heavenly Father when they vote.
One clue that journalists are manipulating you is their choice of adjectives and adverbs. CNN does this a lot. 40% is not a ‘devastating’ loss.
I hope Nikki Haley stays in. She is the only candidate who seems to have a grasp of what is going on internationally and understands the changes that need to be made in our military. Donald Trump is one of the presidents under which the deterioration of our military took place and his tariffs against China are mostly of symbolic matter helping slightly in slowing down their ability to get ahold of our technology. She has also said that she will fight for us. She also wants justice to return to our courts and politics to be removed from our law enforcement. She is a conservative Republican and is a Christian.
I have noticed that some of my MAGA friends are reconsidering, and I think she could gain momentum.
I think anyone who can stand up with so much grace to Donald Trump’s name calling and MAGA trolling with such grace is a strong person.
Getting 40% of the vote in South Carolina is not a small thing and especially when you take into account the constant trolling, threats and harassment by MAGA. They have actually become the new cancel culture. This indicates that there is a significant amount of people which are composed of Republicans, Independents and moderate Democrats looking for another choice, but who don’t see Donald Trump as been qualified to be president. When some were asked, a significant number said that they would never support him. So, even if she dropped out, Donald Trump has no chance of winning the presidency.
