Several Senate Republicans joined Democrats to pass a foreign-aid bill providing billions to Ukraine and Israel. How do you think this bill will fare in the House?
From Daily Mail. The Senate passed a massive foreign aid bill to Ukraine and Israel without border security measures after Republican turmoil ultimately tanked a bipartisan deal last week.

The sprawling $95 billion bill captured the necessary 60 senators needed to send the legislation to the House Tuesday morning after a rare all-night session ending in a 70-29 vote, but it faces an uncertain fate.
In total, the package includes $61 billion for Ukraine, $14 billion for Israel in its war against Hamas and $4.83 billion to support partners in the Indo-Pacific, including Taiwan, to deter aggression by China.
It also provides $9.15 billion in humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, Ukraine and other conflict zones around the globe.
Speaker Mike Johnson cast doubt on its passage in the House, calling it ‘insufficient’ without border security measures in a late night statement saying the Senate has ‘failed to meet the moment.’ …
Last week, Republicans tanked a bipartisan $118 billion bipartisan deal to beef up border security while funding Ukraine and Israel. They accused it of not going far enough to secure the border and said it would cement Biden’s ‘open border’ policies.
It wasn’t easy to get Senate Republicans onboard with the thinner $95 billion deal without immigration measures as tempers flied over the tanked border deal.
But ultimately, over a dozen Republicans voted to pass the bill with Democrats because of the fear that Russian President Putin would be emboldened. …
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer cheered the passing saying it’s been ‘years, perhaps decades’ that the body accomplished such a massive feat. …

He warned about a ‘hidden impeachment clause’ buried the foreign aid package that he says could backfire on Donald Trump if he’s elected.

Almighty Father and Savior grant all the legislators wisdom to use money wisely according to your purpose.

O Lord God, forgive us for always thinking that throwing money, money and more money at a problem is the solution and leaving you out of the equation. When given with no oversight as it has been to regimes like Ukraine, Iran, and Hamas is it used for evil or at best to enrich the coffers of those in authority.
Help us instead to use weapons mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, imaginations and everything that sets itself up against the experience and knowledge of God.
I know demoncrats vote as told by the party that includes Fetterman I am not convinced of his loyalty to God and USA. I am sick of the rinos who join the demoncrats at every chance they get in advancing satan’s evil plan. They are all in for a big surprise for God’s plan always comes out on top. Let’s all pray and “Trust in God”
I think many have failed to realize that the money for Ukraine will be spent here in the US to produce weapons that will re-supply the weapons we send to Ukraine. If the boarder was the issue why didn’t the Republicans pass the bill that included a comprehensive deal to strengthen our southern boarder. We need to be open to listen to everyone’s information and not politically bias.
Where is the money coming from? We don’t have any without borrowing it.
I have no problem supporting Israel.
But, how do we know the money is going to Ukraine?? They are notorious for sex trafficking and drugs. I truly want proof, that all that money that has been given to Ukraine is being used for the right reason. Our Nation is in such a turmoil because of this administration. We need our borders secured. I think we should take care of home and then others. Again, I am not apposed to helping Israel.
We need to give top priority to our border first. To protect our country we need to provide the most for immediate closure of our border and dealing with all the illegals already hear. After we take care of our border needs, we can then look at the rest. Israel should be our 2nd priority. We must continue to give full verbal support and encouragement to Israel and whatever other aid they may need. Obviously China needs to know we stand by Taiwan. As for Ukraine, first there needs to be accountability. The same with the Palestinian/Hamas situation. We do not like to see innocent citizens suffer, but they also chose to give authority to Hamas and they are not standing against Hamas, So aid given to Palestinians is really given to Hamas.
The bills are containing EVIL HIDDEN AGENDAS. Thank You, Heavenly Father, that you have given us a wise man to lead the House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is a praying Christian man who is a doer of the Word of God and who has been given discernment from God. Thank You for his leadership.
I also pray that anyone who has not witnessed the PRAYER GATHERING FOR REPENTANCE TELEVISED FROM THE MUSEUM OF THE BIBLE this month will watch. I wept from joy throughout the service! It gave me hope for America!!

Father God I come before you today asking for your help and guidance in the madness that our government is trying to do by sending an outrageous amount of money to Ukraine when our borders are out of control! I pray for once that they would do the right thing and put money toward protecting our country first at our borders! As you know Lord our borders or out of control we are being bombarded with illegal immigrates daily; by way more people than our country can handle! Lord we as Americans wish for all people to have a better life when possible but it needs to be done legally! The overflow of drugs, human trafficking, killings and much more will continue to come through our borders if our government continues to ignore this matter ! I not only pray for our borders but also for the Ukraine people and for their corrupt government as well as ours! I pray our leaders will do the right thing for our people and country before putting Ukraine first! In Jesus name I pray! Amen
