IDF Rescues Two Hostages
UPDATE: We have received word of a specific answered prayer that we would like to share with you. According to Amir Tsarfati of Behold Israel, one 8-year old girl had been praying for Louis Har by name for some time. The rescue operation occurred on this girl’s eighth birthday.
Isn’t this so encouraging? The Lord is answering our prayers for the hostages!
As the war in Gaza continues, Israeli soldiers managed to rescue two hostages from Hamas captivity. Praise the Lord!
From National Review. A special force of the Israeli military conducted an overnight mission and rescued two Israeli hostages held captive by Hamas in the southernmost Gazan city of Rafah, IDF officials said early on Monday.

The two hostages, identified as Fernando Marman, 61, and Louis Har, 70, were found to be in good condition and were transferred for medical examination to the Sheba Tel Hashomer hospital in Ramat Gan in Israel, officials told Haaretz. Marman and Har had been kidnapped from the Nir Yitzhak kibbutz during the October 7 attacks.
Forces from the Israel Security Agency, the Israeli police, and the IDF conducted the operation around 1 a.m. local time, a joint statement from the groups said. They liberated the pair from an apartment in Rafah. …
In an interview on ABC’s This Week program aired on Sunday, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about an upcoming Israeli ground assault in Rafah, which he said has strategic importance for destroying Hamas. …
“Enough” of the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas in the October 7 onslaught are still alive to justify Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, Netanyahu added. …
“Victory is within reach,” Netanyahu told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “We’re going to do it. We’re going to get the remaining Hamas terrorist battalions and Rafah, which is the last bastion, but we’re going to do it.”
Israeli military officials said last week that an estimated one-fifth of the 136 remaining Israeli hostages are dead. The Israeli military has declared at least 31 of the 136 hostages dead, according to intelligence leaked to the New York Times. During a weeklong cease-fire in November, approximately 100 hostages were returned to Israel in exchange for the release of 240 Palestinian prisoners. …
More than 100 hostages remain to be freed. Let’s keep praying for their release and their healing from trauma.

EL Kanna – Consuming Fire, Jealous God – You are jealous for Your people. A holy jealous – a righteous jealous.
Thank You for Your love for us.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Luke 12: 6-7
Father: Your ones who You are jealous for are praying and believing that Your Hand of protection is on and about the remaining Israeli hostages held by hamas. LORD, for those who are seperated from their families and loved ones be comforted by You where they are. LORD, it is just like You to cause an earthquake so that the foundations of the prisons are shaken while Yours are praying and singing hymns to You. Father, I call for the Light of the World, the LORD Jesus the Christ to present His Light and Love to the hostages. Prepare them for Your rescues, provide them with Your strength, allow them to see Your power and wrap them in Your favor as with a shield.
Father, You liberate by means of many, or by means of few. For victory in warfare is not in the multitude of the army, but in the strength from Heaven.
(1 Maccabees 3:18 -19).
Father, keep Prime Minister Netanyahu. Commanders, and all defense forces safe in Your grip, wisdom and purpose.
In Jesus the Saviors’ Name. Amen.
So be it.
For all the Glory and Honor belong to You.
Praise God
Thank You JESUS
What a great birthday present for this 8 yr old girl!!!
Father, Thank You for answering her prayers and the prayers of Argentina families for these hostages. Bring Victory in war and Freedom to many more IN YESHUA’S HOLY NAME AMEN AMEN
Praise your name. We ask that the rest of the hostages would be freed and go home to Israel. Foil the plans of Hamas and let them see the hopelessness of their fight.
I thank You and praise You, Lord, that two more of the hostages of Hamas have been freed. By your great mercy and grace, please make a way for the remaining hostages to be set free, and healed of all the trauma that they have experienced. I pray for a peaceful resolution to this terrible conflict. In Jesus’ mighty name.
Two hostages ….”found to be in good condition” ? A report from an Israeli journalist said they were both very weakened from lack of nourishment that they could barely walk and soldiers carried them out. That doesn’t sound like any “good” condition in which I would want to be.
