As Texas continues fighting to secure its border, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is sending soldiers to assist.
From Ron DeSantis. Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that Florida is deploying members of the Florida National Guard (FLNG) and members of the Florida State Guard (FSG) will be deployed to assist Texas in its efforts to stop the invasion at the southern border. Florida is offering up to a battalion of National Guard members (approximately 1,000 soldiers) to Texas, who will be deployed based on Texas’ needs. These deployments are in addition to the more than 90 officers from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) that are currently deployed to the border. Additional law enforcement resources are standing by and ready to deploy as requested by Texas state officials. In December, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data showed that more than 302,000 illegal immigrants were encountered attempting to cross the southern border – the highest month ever recorded.
“States have every right to defend their sovereignty and we are pleased to increase our support to Texas as the Lone Star State works to stop the invasion across the border,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Our reinforcements will help Texas to add additional barriers, including razor wire along the border. We don’t have a country if we don’t have a border.”
“This is not a new mission for us. For several years we have supported border security missions in Texas, to include both federal and state deployments,” said Major General John D. Haas, The Adjutant General of Florida. “Last spring the Florida National Guard was one of the first in the nation to deploy rotations of soldiers to support Operation Lone Star in Texas, and we have proudly and readily supported our own state’s efforts in similar roles here in Florida.”
“The Florida State Guard is prepared to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with state agency partners in direct support of our brothers and sisters in Texas grappling with an unprecedented surge of illegal immigration along their border,” said Florida State Guard Director Mark Thieme. “The Florida State Guard is postured to deliver rapid emergency response, public safety operations and humanitarian assistance — wherever the need arises.”
Since 2021, Florida has provided direct law enforcement and military assistance to Texas, including FLNG, which supported the Texas Military Department through mission sets including static observation points, roving patrols and engineer assistance with obstacle improvement. FHP has made contact with nearly 150,000 illegal aliens, conducted over 27,000 traffic stops, resulting in 2,102 Human Smuggling or Human Trafficking charges with 2,278 overall arrests.
FDLE has sent rotations of officers to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety with arrests of violent felony suspects including gang members. Suspects were arrested on various Texas state charges including human smuggling, burglary, firearms, smuggling of persons, smuggling of persons with a firearm, child endangerment, escape from federal custody and possession of controlled substance. FWC has deployed a total of 540 FWC personnel, 525 four-wheel drive patrol trucks and 24 vessels.
In Fiscal Year 2023, CBP recorded 2.5 million encounters – surpassing last year’s record. This includes 169 illegal immigrants on the terror watch list attempting to cross the southern border. Since Biden took office, more than 10 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border, including more than 1.7 million known gotaways. In December alone, roughly 260 million lethal doses of fentanyl were seized at the border.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus’ we renounce death over any president in or out of office. No weapon formed against them shall prosper and any words spoken or written against them, is cast down in Jesus name. We speak life and life more abundantly in the lives of all authority that You have allowed to rule in this country. We may not understand all that You are doing, but as Your children, our hope and trust is in You. We ask Your forgiveness Lord of every sin we have done or allowed to destroy our country. Rebellion, lack of praying, disobedience, pride and much more. Create within us a clear and righteous heart and renew a right spirit within us. May our Gov. Ron DeSantis be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I pray that You give him strategies as to help not only Florida, but our border as well. Keep him and he will be kept. Heavenly Father, we put our trust in You and pray Your kingdom come and Your will be done here in America as it is in heaven. Prayer is the main thing against a President who lies deliberately and who is making America not Great Again but has a hidden agenda against America!
I live in Florida and am so proud of Governor DeSantis for all he has done for, not only Florida but also for sending troops to Texas to aid in protecting illegal immigrants from entering our Country! My prayers go to Ron DeSantis and his family. I pray for protection, good health and wisdom to be with our Governor all the days of his life!
Lord God Almighty, please bless the strength and wisdom of both Florida and Texas state troops to stop this illegal immigration chaos once and for all, and Governor DeSantis who has played a huge part in all this mess! DeSantis is truly a Godly man and he needs your mental strength and wisdom through all of this spiritual warfare the United States government dishes out against this country!
Thank you DeSantis for your support and for all of the people who went to the border this weekend to support our Governor on securing our border. Lord, help people to understand we are not against those who want a better life but we want them to do it the right way. Our country can not support all of Mexico without them contributing money. If they would keep the criminals and the ill out, that would be helpful.

Please give Texas and Arizona a Word of Knowledge how to stop the flow of illegals. Let it be so simple that the democrats won’t realize it worked until the migration starts heading back to the border to leave our nation. You and you alone can fix this mess. We praise you and thank you for divine deliverance for this expensive and ridiculous plot from our current leaders. I ask this in the Holy Name of Jesus. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, you are in charge of all things. I thank you and praise you for Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, who is a man of action and not just words. Thank you for his decision to send Florida’s National Guard members to help protect the Texas border, which is an act of patriotism for our country and support for the state of Texas and its Governor Abbott. I ask you to protect these National Guard men and women and all of the people who are working at the border who are trying to protect our country. I ask that you would provide an answer to this delemma. Only you would have a proper and good way to solve this problem. I ask for your Devine intervention for this enormous problem. I ask for safety for all people involved and a Devine answer to the fentanyl problem and for the sex trafficking problem that is taking place from the border debacle. I thank you most heartily for hearing our prayers on this matter. I thank Jesus for interceding for us in this problem.
I also ask for protection for all evangelical ministers that have plans to go there to preach Jesus at the border. Guide and help them! 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you Father for answerwd prayers and that patriots like Ron DeSanyis still exist in high offices of influence in America during this tolime when so many holding office are phonies and traitors or just plain in bondage to demonic influences that keep them powerless and ineffective in their position. Father depopulate our government with ineffective compromised leaders and raise up more like Ron DeSantis and give them the funds and favor they need to rise through the ranks and win elections that will showcase your answered prayers for us. Thank you for always hearing and always working on behalf of our prayers, open ears to hear you and receive your wisdom and plans and raise up more intecessors gifting them with the right prayer strategies and necessary faith to move these mountains of lawless border invasion from within and at our borders. Send back every one who already entered our border lawlessly, do not reward any lawless invaders with citizenship or long term taxpayer paid government assistance, just raise up programs to quickly send them back where they came from or imprison them teaching them that America upholds its own laws and not only has a right to protect its borders and its own tax paying citizens but also has the will and means and followthrough to fully carry it out and fully does carry it out every time, for every offender, In Jesus name.

When I see the 75,000 homeless in this “sanctuary” city and the fentanyl crisis, I am forever grateful for Ron DeSantis and his willingness to control the criminals trying to take advantage.

Good for gov. DeSantis ! It shows patriotism upon his part. Our current administration clearly isn’t going to do anything about the issue of our border crisis. God bless Gov. Abbot and Gov. DeSantis . Please, Lord, give them ears to hear the still, small voice of Holy Spirit guiding them as how to proceed. Once again, Lord Jesus, may Your mighty will prevail.
I do not live in Florida but wish I did. I live in KY and our governor seems to be a morally bankrupt follower who stands with biden. I wish we had a christian strong and faithful governor like you. Please do not get discouraged just keep letting God direct your path and your footsteps. He delights in a good man. Thank you for caring enough to put your money and resources where your mouth is and helping where it is needed. I pray for you, your citizens, and Texas and Governor Abbott. I am proud of both of you and ask God to lift you up and protect you. Read Psalm 27 it is strengthening (The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? (and that is just the first verse the rest are equally edifying)) If God protected David in this way, he is still in the business of honoring his word and will do it now as well.
