I Prayed

It was one of those heart-stopping moments that are every parent’s nightmare. My daughter and I were shopping at a local mall. She and I were looking at clothes, just a few feet away from where my 2-year-old grandson was happily seated in the kids’ area watching a movie. He was within arm’s reach, as always. I turned away from him for a brief second to say something to my daughter. The next moment, I turned back, and he was nowhere to be seen. Frantic, I told my daughter to search the store while I ran out to the mall entrance.

In just a few steps, I was at the store entrance, and there I was abruptly stopped in my tracks. A woman was blocking my exit. She was a very large woman who seemed to occupy the entire store entrance. She was so tall that I had to bend my head all the way back to see her face and meet her gaze. I looked into her fiery eyes as she extended her left arm down the mall. My eyes followed her long arm and finger in the direction she was pointing, as I heard her fiercely proclaim, “I told him to get back in there!” Down the mall hallway, in the direction she was pointing, was my little grandson. Bare feet running as fast as he could. He was headed for the cookie store he loved so much. With great relief, I turned to thank the woman who had blocked my path mere seconds before. She was gone. Nowhere to be found. She was not in the store, nor the mall, and I knew in that moment it was Bryson’s angel. I quickly retrieved my grandson and breathed a sigh of relief, thanking God for sending His angel to assist and protect.
There are angels among us.
Considering the climate of our nation today, I believe we all need to be reminded of the promises of God concerning angels. With weekly mass shootings, extreme violence, and current agendas that target our children, I thank God for these promises.
Angels Are Ordered to Protect
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands, so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone (Psalm 91:11–12 NLT).
God has given a command concerning you and your family. He has ordered His angels to protect you wherever you go. He goes so far to say they won’t even allow you to hurt your foot on a stone. We must, as God’s people, take this promise to heart and declare it over ourselves and our family on a regular basis. I personally thank God each time I get in my vehicle. I thank Him that the angels of God have been ordered to watch over me and bring me home safe. I pray this same prayer over my grandchildren who drive.
Angels Serve God’s People
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14 NKJV).
The word minister in this verse means to attend to as a servant and to bring relief to. Angels are sent by God to serve God’s people. They are listening for instruction that lines up with God’s word so they can assist you and me. They can bring relief in situations if we only employ them according to God’s word.
Angels Deliver
The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them (Psalm 34:7 NKJV).
Angels are sent to deliver God’s people. We see this in the life of Peter. In the book of Acts, we read that Peter was in prison, bound with chains. However, those chains could not stop God. God sent angels to deliver Peter from this impossible situation. He desires to do the same for you. He is the same God today.
Angels Perform God’s Word
Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, heeding the voice of His word (Psalm 103:20 NKJV).
Angels are listening for us to speak the word of God into our situation. Angels will not perform every word that comes out of our mouths, but they do heed the voice of the word of God and perform God’s word in our lives. If we are expecting angels to work on our behalf, we must make sure our words line up with God’s word.
Angels Guard Those Who Belong to God
For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully … (Luke 4:10 AMP).
This is what I saw that day with my grandson. God had given this angel charge over Bryson, to guard and watch him closely. Even when he wandered out of our sight, God had His angels watching that little boy. For that I am eternally grateful. God is no respecter of persons. He is doing the same thing for you and your children today.
Angels Minister to God’s People
Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him (Matthew 4:11 NKJV).
That day, in the wilderness, the angels of God came and attended to Jesus. They served Him. They fed Him and provided for His every need. They will do the same for us if we only believe.
Angels Fight Opposition on Our Behalf
Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia” (Daniel 10:12–13).
Daniel had prayed for an answer, and God had immediately responded. However, the enemy had attempted to stop Daniel’s answer from reaching him. God sent His warring angels to fight their way through. Take note, the angels came because of Daniel’s words! It is vital that our words align with God’s. When they do, God will do whatever it takes, including sending warring angels to fight for us, to make sure we receive our answered prayer.
There are indeed angels among us, and they each have a job to do. Are you employing the assistance of angels daily? Are you speaking the word of God, giving them something to work with? Do you expect the angels of God to watch over you and your family? If not, I recommend you change that today.
Angels are real. We see their handiwork all throughout the Bible, from beginning to the very end. They have a job to do, and they need our cooperation to do it. Begin to expect the angels of God to work on your behalf today. You will be so glad you did.

Praise GOD…He is good!
I always pray and ask the Lord to surround me and my family with His angels for protection and guidance. We heard angels singing right before my mom left this earth and went to Heaven, it was awesome!
I hope Bryson was instructed to obey if an angel ever tells him to do something again!

Psalms 91:11-12 “ For He will give His angels charge concerning you,
To guard you in all your ways.
They will bear you up in their hands,
That you do not strike your foot against Protection.” I thank God personally for Gods protection over me many times. In 2017 to 2923. I was injured my Sciatic Nerve was cut, it was a very difficult time during several years going from a wheel chair to a cane learning to walk with a brace on your ankle and foot. One of the things is my foot dragged and if I was not careful I could fall. This is one thing the Dr. Warned me about is falling. I thanked my Angel many times when I stumbled many times that caught me from literally falling. I might fall against a wall or door maybe scrape my arms but I did not fall. I praise God for the protection of my angels that caught me. They are real, they are our protection when we need them. Daniel 4-13-7 – Gods angels are priceless . This portion of scripture fits the description after I lost one of my brothers, I knew he had given his life to God, but when he came home after serving in Vietnam’s war he was a very disturbed person, not living for God he turned to alcohol, he was shortly killed by a car because of this drunk ness. As I was praying one night agonizing over his death asking God about his salvation. I will never forget a glow of light and a figure appeared at the foot of my bed, spoke to my spirit gave me peace about my brother. God we still need these special ministering angels to hover over all of the circumstances that is plaguing us today. Call upon Gods ministering angels to help divert some of the horrible things going on with our children and babies, our homes of unbelievable destruction and sufferings. Daniel -9-21:27 says these words” while I was still speaking in prayer, then the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision previously, came to me in my extreme weariness about the time of the evening offering. He gave me instruction and talked with me and said, “O Daniel, I have now come forth to give you insight with understanding. At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision.read more.” These angels will give us instructions, they will direct us with words of knowledge and wisdom how to manage certain situations. Zechariah 1-9:11 gives us proof that God wants us to use His Ministering Angels in our lives. “ Then I said, “My lord, what are these?” And the angel who was speaking with me said to me, “I will show you what these are.” And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered and said, “These are those whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.” So they answered the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees and said, “We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is peaceful and quiet.”
Revelation-22-16 says”I Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright Morning star. Jesus as I release these words and why we can and must rely on these Ministering Angels God has provided to us. God gave us strong helpers in our lives and my thoughts is Why are we not utilizing these (so called Tools) in our critical situation that America is in? God says in Hebrews 1- they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
We must learn to do as God instructs us to see the goodness and how to use Angels, Gods ministering gifts. #1- speak the Word only. And do so in faith. This allows your angels to minister to you on your behalf—to work for you, to intervene“ #2- Command your angels- Keep in mind, you aren’t commanding them in the same way you are commanding and rebuking the devil. You are releasing them to do the work they’ve been assigned to perform on your behalf. “ #3 Pray for angels
When you ask God to deploy your angels, He will do so. Jesus said God would have sent 12 legions of angels to His rescue had He asked for them. Prayer will release angels on your behalf (Matthew 26:51-53).“ #4 Call on the Name of Jesus
The Name of Jesus catches the attention of God’s angels. They will respond to the Name above all names and come to your rescue (Hebrews 1:6). The Name of Jesus is powerful! When you’re in a situation where you need help, call on His Name. He’ll send help your way!“ #5 When you trust and believe that God will send His angels to help you (Psalm 91:11), you are receiving their intervention by faith. Thank Him and praise Him because He has given His angels charge over you. Thank Him for providing you with an entire army to enforce what is rightfully yours.“ KCM- good to know you don’t have to depend on your own abilities for protection and deliverance? Get your angels involved in your life. God’s will is for you to enjoy everything He provided through Jesus on the cross, and He’s provided all the help you’ll ever need!. Thank you Jesus for special insights concerning our ministering Angels to help us to break the bondages from our lives and Faith to help others see the goodness that our Heavenly Father has provided many ways of His power to help us grow in His Words of knowledge and the many provisions He has given us. God I am asking that Your Ministering Angel Army will help break the bondage over Washington DC and the darkness over the Bills that are being put forth. God this last Bill was a disappointment that Kevin McCarthy is bringing to a vote concerning the debts that the radical left has gotten America in a serious financial situation. God we need intervention from Your ministering Angels to do what ever it will take to Save America. I ask in Jesus name. God we cannot do this without You.

Sometimes, just the name of JESUS, is all we can utter, or in our agony all we can do in prayer is groan….God understands and knows our needs when sometimes His Word fails to come to our minds in emergencies, or in deep distress. God is faithful. God Bless.

I have a story of an angel interceding for myself and a friend. I was driving her home from Bible Study, when out in the field to the left was a dog coming at full speed towards my car. He was a large dog. I knew he would be killed and cause damage. I didn’t have time for anything. I said “Oh, Jesus!” Right then he was jumping over the ditch into the road. But it was as if an invisible man grabbed his paws and flipped him over and set him down. My friend and I were very surprised. And were positive that an angel intervened. There was no way for the dog to stop that fast and to be flipped in the matter he was, to be set down. I said “wow! My angel was protecting us!” To which she replied, “it was the dog’s angel! Not yours.” Lol
Praise God! He takes care of His people and his furry creation! (Psalm 36:6)
Beautiful!! I am so encouraged! I have been learning more about angels and there counterparts in the heavenly realms . I love the term, “the angels respond to God’s word” . Life and death in the power of the tongue.
