DeSantis’ announced his four new “Prescribe Freedom” bills during an event in Destin. Senate Bill 252 prohibits workplaces, government agencies and schools from requiring COVID-19 vaccination or masks. …
The legislation also formally denounces World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations in Florida. It also protects alternative COVID-19 treatments.
“You should have the right to try these [alternative COVID-19 treatments] under the supervision of your physician, and that is protected in the state of Florida,” DeSantis said.
Another component of the legislation is Senate Bill 1387, which bans gain-of-function research. …
“What we know is there was gain-of-function research being conducted at Wuhan, and that very likely led to the emergence of COVID-19. And yet there really isn’t effective regulation,” the governor said.
Senate Bill 1580 also ensures freedom of speech and whistleblower protections for physicians. …

I live in Texas and I thank God that Governor Abbott has done some good in this respect but not to the extent that Governor DeSantis has. Thank you Governor DeSantis for all that you have done and what you stand for. That you have seen the ways of the Lord. Thanks so much. I pray that other states will follow your example. We as people and adults know what is best. Give us the control of our lives and decisions. Communism takes control of its people, not the United States. Please stop and use trust and honesty with the people. God will direct if you seek Him and follow His word. Don’t try to take control. Give choices.

Thank You, Lord God, for brave, smart, industrious people like Governor DeSantis who have common sense, strong enough morals & fortitude to do the right thing for the right reasons for the people they represent. Let each person decide whether or not to wear a mask or take the jab, as well as what treatments we can use when their nasty virus invades our bodies. Thank You, Lord, for also protecting whistleblowers & other truth tellers, protecting our free speech rights & exposing lies in our media & government.
Personally I never wanted to live in Florida, too hot and humid and flat! I SO loved the beautiful Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. However! Was I ever grateful God had sent us here years before covid. To have had Governor DeSantis, what a blessing, he even declared church was essential early on. Abba Father, please protect and bless him, his family and staff. Amen!
This is Awesome. I am a Registered nurse who currently has no health insurance because I interviewed for a new position, got hired, gave my two week notice, completed that and then, the new job decided, they were NOT going to hire me because of my vaccine status, even though they were made aware during the interview and I had also, submitted a medical exemption. They excepted the medical exemption initially, then revoked and told me I would have to be vaccinated. So, Praise God for men like Govenor DeSantis and for his willingness to take a stand. We certainly do need more like him.
