Tensions are rising in the Middle East. Let’s pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122).
From The Wall Street Journal. Israel carried out a drone strike targeting a defense compound in Iran, as the U.S. and Israel look for new ways to contain Tehran’s nuclear and military ambitions, according to U.S. officials and people familiar with the operation.

Iranian officials said that the country’s air defenses had fended off an attempted attack by three small quadcopters targeting a munitions factory in the city of Isfahan, right next to a site belonging to the Iran Space Research Center, which has been sanctioned by the U.S. for its work on Iran’s ballistic-missile program.
Iran said its air defenses brought down one of the drones while the two others exploded above the warehouse, causing minor damage to the roof.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called the blast a cowardly strike.
“Such actions cannot impact the determination and intent of our experts for peaceful nuclear progress,” he said, according to government news service PadDolat.
The Israeli military declined to comment.
The strike marks the first known attack carried out by Israel under the new far-right coalition government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who sanctioned a series of bold operations inside Iran when he last served in that role from 2009 to 2021.

Last week, the U.S. and Israel carried out their largest-ever joint military exercise involving more than 7,500 personnel from both countries and a series of scenarios to test their ability to take out air-defense systems and refuel jet planes—both of which could be key elements of a major military strike on Iran.
Israel’s top general told The Wall Street Journal last week that Israel and the U.S. were preparing for the worst.
Gen. Herzi Halevi, the Israel Defense Forces’ chief of staff, said that the military exercises sent “a very clear message to Iran: If Iran makes mistakes, offense capabilities are getting ready.”
Efforts by President Biden to resurrect a nuclear containment deal with Iran have come to a standstill, but the U.S. has yet to develop an alternative. Mr. Netanyahu has been pushing the U.S. to take a tougher stance against Iran. …

Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for this situation, not knowing how, yet trusting your word that says the Holy Spirit will make intercession through us with groanings, so we groan inwardly along with the Holy Spirit, yearning for peace, not only for USA but for your beloved Israel, and the entire world, we yearn for your will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven, we yearn to be delivered from all evil, from all evil leaders who pursue evil interests and agendas, we pray that you lead our world leaders not into temptation, we yearn for Godly, God fearing leaders in all nations that lead as you would have it, justly, with wisdom and discernment, protecting their nation’s sovereignty and borders, protecting the rights of their citizens to free speech, and freedom of religion, ruling in the best interest of the nation’s people, including the unborn, not the selfish interests of the elite who push for economic interests above moral decency, diplomacy, and democracy. Father we know that your word will come to pass regarding wars and rumors of wars, as well as Armedegdon, but we also pray according to your word for leaders who know they are but men, leaders who pursue peace above pride and bloodshed, and leaders who already fear and revere you, or those you can win over in the way you did with Nenuchadnezzar. In Jesus name we ask, and thank you for hearing and answering our prayer.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your perfect word. Amos 9:15 “I will plant them upon their land, and they shall never again be plucked up out of the land which I have given them,” says the LORD your God. Oh Father, what clear knowledge You have provided. This promise we know, You will continue to keep. We pray for peace in Jerusalem (Your holy city). Grant wisdom and instruction to PM Benjamin Netanyahu, the Knesset, IDF, those holding office. Surround them with Your wise counsel. May the Jewish and Christian communities be led by Your Holy Spirit for the days ahead. Cause the U.S. to continue to enjoin with Israel and be a blessing to this nation. Help us to watch and pray continuously. Let the mystery of Jesus Christ as the one, true Messiah, be received in this nation and around the world. Let Your Kingdom come. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

We pray for the Messianic Churches throughout the Land as they work to bring in the harvest. Strengthen and equip them especially as they take on the Ukrainian and other immigrants coming into the country. Lord, we speak Your word in Is. 62:12 “And they shall call them the Holy people, the redeemed of the Lord, and you shall be called sought out, a city not forsaken.” We also pray that You would block/stop/confuse those in our government who pressure Israel to give away land for peace. Father, we worship You as the Holy One of Israel! You Who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Your word is clear that You will ‘break the bow of Elam’, and then ‘set Your throne in Elam’ Jer.49:34,38-39. Your word is also clear that ‘You frustrated the counsel of nations and You thwart the plans of the people’s but Your counsel stands forever’! Ps.33:10-11. Come, raise up Your throne in Iran. Thank You for the growing church there. Overthrow ungodly leaders and bring shepherds after Your own heart. Grant Israeli leaders wisdom as the seek to protect the Apple of Your eye! We do not trust in chariots or horses but in You alone! Allow Netanyahu and his knesset to seek Your wisdom and Your righteousness. Prince of Peace bring your peace across the Middle East for Your glory!
Father, help us to tell the World that Israel is the Apple of Your Eye and You have promised to ‘Bless them that Bless you, and Curse them that Curse you.’

6. For Bibi, the Knesset, and all political leaders to lead with God’s wisdom as it is written in The Word.
7. For all security and police to execute operations in safety with restraint and accuracy.
8. For the IDF to detect all threats and act on them with focused, laser-like precision. For their protection as they do so.
9. For COMFORT, Isaiah 51, “I, even I AM HE, who comforts you.” Abba, comfort your people in their trauma, fear, loss, and pain.
10. For boldness, courage, and victory over their enemies and for God’s justice to triumph, not man’s.
