Rodney Elliott (D)

Father, I pray for Rodney Elliott. Thank you for his service to you and to Massachusetts. May he humbly seek you for wisdom. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and life in you through Jesus Christ, Redeemer. May he love our nation and serve in honesty, not for his own fame and wealth, but for the good of our nation. Give him repentance for sin. Protect him and his family.

Father, thank You for Representative Elliott's stand for the rights of the elderly to ensure that they have all the assistance and support they need to live life well. Give him wisdom as he strives to bring fiscal accountability to his State government and give him courage and boldness to always speak up when he needs to voice his concerns or opinions. May he be guided by Your Word, a lamp to our feet and light to our path. May his speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt so that he would know how to respond to every situation, according to Your will and purpose, LORD. Do not allow him to follow the popular vote, rather, give him eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying to him. Draw him to your side, LORD, so that he would know the hope to which You have called him. Bless him, Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

I pray in agreement with prayer warriors engaged in spiritual warfare on behalf of Representative Rodney Elliott. We lift him up, stand in the gap under the authority Jesus gives His disciples in Matthew 28:18-19, and pray in Jesus' name that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christian disciples who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We pray in Jesus' name for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Mr. Elliott to receive revelation of Your truth and values into his spirit. We pray that Rodney Elliott is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray he be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name, Amen.
