Vanessa Summers (D)

I pray, in the name of Jesus, for Representative Vanessa Summers. Dear Heavenly Father, please surround her by spirit-filled Christians who are able to speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into her life. I pray in agreement with prayer warriors for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of satan's rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "the demolish(ing) of arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God," (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray for the loosing (Matthew 16:19) of open eyes, listening ears and a soft heart that will enable Representative Summers to receive revelation of Your truth and values into her heart. We pray that Vanessa Summers is convicted to receive Your gift of salvation (John 3:16) and "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ," (2 Cor. 10:5). We pray she be blessed with godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24). In Jesus name Amen

Dear Lord and Heavenly Father: This morning I lift up to you state Representative Vanessa Summers. I thank you for her willingness to serve the people of her district in this important role, especially since she took office at a time of personal loss with the death of her father. I ask you to lead and guide her as she considers legislation and other important matters. Please give her wisdom and strength. I claim Philippians 4:6-7 for her today: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." I also ask you for protection for her and her family as she fulfills her responsibilities. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dear Representative Summers- I continue to pray for you and ask for God's all-sufficient grace and wisdom to guide you in every decision as you work to protect and serve the American people. 1 Corinthians 12:25-27 "so that there may be no [a]division in the body, but that the parts may have the same care for one another. 26 And if one part of the body suffers, all the parts suffer with it; if a part is [b]honored, all the parts rejoice with it. 27 Now you are Christ's body, and individually parts of it." Father, thank You that Your divine wisdom brings divine order so that we may experience divine peace!! May there be no disunity or disregard among or between us, but to value each other's strengths & help each other's weaknesses. Help us to avoid careless attitudes & arguments, to surrender any pride & personal preferences. We desire to have our function & purpose rooted in Your love, being faithful to care for, pray for, & honor one another. We know that when one part is afflicted all other parts are affected in the spiritual body of Christ just as in our natural body & we need healing for our brokenness & failure in this.
