John Sarbanes (D)

Father, I lift up Representative John Sarbanes. May he humble himself before you and seek your wisdom, knowing he has none of his own. Open his heart and mind to Jesus Christ and desire to walk in your holiness. May he not serve for money or popularity, but desiring only to serve you as King and Lord.

Father God, I lift up John Sarbanes to you right now that you would silence the voice of the enemy that causes division and strife. I ask in the mighty name of Jesus, that you would speak to John's heart and mind and that you would direct his steps and guide his decisions and that he would help bring unity in his role as a House Rep. Protect him and his family. I declare Psalm 91 over him 24 hours a day and the blood of Jesus. Amen

Show Rep John Sarbanes how much you love him and work in his heart I pray. Keep him safe in your care. Direct him in his decisions. Thank you Lord.

Father God, again a person I do not really know or know how to pray for; I do not know this man or his heart and soul condition, but PTL You do. I commit Representative John Sarbanes to the working of Your Holy Spirit, for the outcome of his eternal soul and his life, that he might be redeemed and that he might make a positive impact on other lives he encounters. Lord, draw him unto yourself and Your purpose for his life. Oh Lord, In the Name and by the power of Jesus Christ and the Spirit he gives us, we pray for this man that You would do a work in his life, in his heart that he might see Your Will and discern your direction for his life and his purpose and mission in Government and as a legislator. May he open his heart and mind to see You and Your guidance and not be prey to the whims and weaknesses of society, of harmful, misdirected ideologies and evil influences. May he seek wisdom, knowledge, understanding and truth for his position in working for the people of his state and for America. Thank you o' God for hearing our pleas and for Your blessing over America; do not withdraw your favor and sustainment, but sweep the nation with the power of Your Spirit.

Dear Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, All authority in Heaven and on earth is given to You, please help our legislators escape the grip of the enemy, please give them power to enact righteous laws, with no interference from satan (lower case is intentional). Thank You Christ Jesus for Your Mercy and Grace.

Lord, I pray for John Sarbanes to have a reverential fear of You and to always put You first in the important decisions that he makes for this Country! In Jesus' Name, Amen!
