Dan Bishop (R)

Father, I pray for Representative Dan Bishop. Thank you for his service to our country. May he have his eyes on you, humbling seeking your wisdom as he make decisions in matters of our country. Give him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and keep him from seeking power or money. May you be His God and may he follow Jesus closely.

Thank You, Lord, for the privilege of praying for Representative Dan Bishop as he represents the state of North Carolina. Thank You for Your blessings and protection upon him and his family as he stands firm against the attacks of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-13). Build Mr. Bishop's spiritual strength, conviction and courage to resist manipulation and peer pressure (Proverbs 29:25, 2 Timothy 1:7). Convict him to stand upon Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and Your will as he supports sanctity of life, marriage and families, divine order and morality in our nation. Convict him to uncover and expose corruption, deceit and lies (Proverbs 26). Bless Dan Bishop and his family with wise, godly counsel and God-fearing advisors (Proverbs 24) and the will to fight to keep America "One Nation Under God". In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord be with Mr. Bishop. Awaken his heart to you and set those around him words of truth and righteousness, tighten his belt of truth, set on top his helmet of salvation, tighten his breastplate of righteousness, place the gospel of peace upon his feet so as he goes so do you, remind him of his sword of truth and shield of faith. Let him take refuge in you alone.

Almighty Father, I ask that you give Dan the energy to lead as you guide him. In Jesus's name Amen

Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of praying for Representative Dan Bishop. Thank you for giving Mr. Bishop the heart, the time and the energy required to serve the people of North Carolina. I pray that he be surrounded by spirit-filled Christians who continually speak Your Word of Truth and Your values into his life. We thank you, Heavenly Father, for the binding (Matthew 16:19) of rulers, authorities, powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12) and for "demolish(ing) arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. (Corinthians 10:5). Continue to bless Representative Bishop with open eyes and ears and a soft heart that receives Your wisdom, knowledge, understanding (Isaiah 11:2) and will in all areas of his life. Please continue to send him godly counsel and God-fearing advisors. We thank you that he sees himself as You see him and is convicted that You have created him for Your purpose with Your plan for his life at such a time as this. In Jesus name, Amen!

Lord, I lift up to you, Rep. Dan Bishop. I ask for thoughtful, focused, common sense leadership in keeping with the US Constitution. God, keep his angels around him to protect he and his family. Grant him health spiritually, mentally and physically. In Jesus name, Amen.
