Scott Smith was arrested for protesting the school board that covered up his daughter’s rape. Now he is finally seeing justice restored.

From New York Post. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced Sunday he pardoned a dad who angrily protested a Loudoun County school’s handling of his daughter’s sexual assault.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

Scott Smith, a plumber who erupted at a rowdy school board meeting on June 22, 2021 — reportedly unleashing a storm of profanities — was arrested and subsequently convicted of disorderly conduct.

Smith alleged his then-ninth grade daughter was sexually assaulted by a biological boy donning a skirt in a Stone Bridge High School bathroom — and that the school informed him it was conducting an in-house investigation of the attack.

But minutes before Smith’s arrest during the school board meeting, Loudoun County Public Schools Superintendent Scott Ziegler insisted “we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms,” the Daily Wire reported. …

“His daughter had been sexually assaulted in the bathroom of a school, and no one was doing anything about it,” Youngkin said, arguing the superintendent “covered it up.” …

Dear LORD, we thank You for bringing forth justice for Scott Smith. A father who went into battle for his daughter. We pray for complete healing and restoration of the girls who were victimized first by the perpetrator and then by the acts of Loudon County Public School. May the body of Christ surround these families and come along side offering help and comfort. Let them know they are loved and not forgotten or just another statistic. Rebuke the Loudon County Public Schools for their cowardice and arrogance. LORD, bring Your goodness and hope in the lives of those whom bore the scars of attack, both physically and mentally. In Jesus redeeming name. Amen.

Amen and thank you, Father in heaven, for Youngkin making this horrific wrong, shown for what it is and setting the young girl’s father free.

Father, God, I thank U for Governor Youngkin who has a heart. I thank U for the ‘We the parents stand up’ signs! The young teenage boy apologized to the families. There is hope for him. Isaiah 1:17 says: ‘Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression, bring justice to the fatherless, and plead the widow’s cause.’ In this case Governor Younkin plead the plumber’s cause! I thank U for the father’s righteous anger, also. Teach us how to effectively do spiritual warfare, Father. These troubles are not going away any time soon. In Jesus’ powerful & majestic name I pray this. Amen.
