Magnificent!!
Extraordinary. Isaiah 9:6 points with remarkable clarity and accuracy to the birth of Jesus. He was a child born (His humanity) and a son given (His deity). The government or rule of the kingdom of God rests on the shoulders of the One who is the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. His kingdom is always and ever advancing since there will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace. I take great hope and encouragement from this truth especially when world events look bleak. The kingdom of God is advancing mightily in many parts of the world as it never has before in history. Take heart, intercessors. Our God reigns.
