I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray that You would protect Your children from the violent criminals across America. We ask You to give the victim in this case justice, and to prevent others from suffering as she has.

Intercessor, our nation desperately needs prayer. Violent migrants are illegally crossing our border. Prosecutors are letting criminals stay on the street through light sentences and sometimes dropping cases entirely. Homelessness is on the rise, and homeless camps can be found in seemingly every major city.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

One ongoing case in Brooklyn involves all of these issues. Last Sunday, a migrant with a history of sexual assault allegedly raped a homeless woman. The details of this case, however, may shock you.

The victim, who chose to remain unnamed, was assaulted by Daniel Davon-Bonilla, a 24-year-old migrant from Nicaragua. The victim insists that Davon-Bonilla was trying to kill her, telling The New York Post, “it wasn’t rape, it was attempted murder.”

The victim’s boyfriend, Ray Ramsammy, claimed to have witnessed the attack. He told The Post that Davon-Bonilla “was clearly choking her and having sex with her and holding her down with a knife on her face.” When Ramsammy tried to intervene, however, he was allegedly attacked by Davon-Bonilla’s accomplice, another male migrant named Leovando Moreno. Ramsammy eventually escaped, seeking help from the police.

Davon-Bonilla is one of many New York criminals who prosecutors have allowed to stay on the street. In 2023, he took a plea deal after raping a woman at a migrant shelter. He had been out of jail for less than two months at the time of the attack, despite the fact that federal immigration authorities reportedly have a detainer on him. Ramsammy identified Davon-Bonilla and people like him well, saying, “people like this need to get off the street.”

What is most fascinating about the case is how the victim responded to her attacker during the assault. As she was being attacked, she told The Post, “I kept telling him God was watching him.”

The victim claims that the attack was an attempted murder. Perhaps she would’ve been murdered had she not called on the name of the Lord our God. This story goes to show that, even as our nation looks darker by the day, God is still in control. He is our hope, and He will preserve and protect those who call upon Him.

We know that God is the only hope for America. Share your prayers in the comments for His will to be done!

Lord Jehovah Nissi, our protector and God, We thank you for all the times you have intervened for us to save and protect us! We praise you for your loving care and plead now for divine intervention. By the power of your precious blood, Lord Jesus, we bind the demonic violence prevalent in cities and ask for release of a wave of your divine love covering our nation, resulting in multiple salvations and reawakenings to your presence and glory! Amen.
