I Prayed have prayed
Father God, thank You for hearing and answering our prayers. We exalt and praise Your holy name.
Reading Time: 4 minutes

In 2022, we entered our third year dealing with Covid19, the pandemic and all that entails. People are weary and frustrated.  It is a breeding ground for hopelessness. Some are beginning to question their faith, and their prayers.  Many are asking, “Why even pray, it’s not working.”  Oh, but yes, it is!

Recently God led me to a scripture found in the Old Testament.  Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you have increased, and you inherit the land. And I will set your bounds from the Red Sea to the sea, Philistia, and from the desert to the river. For I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you (Ex 23:31.)

God had delivered the children of Israel from Egypt and was leading them to their Promised Land. God let His people know there would be adversaries along the way.  There would be battles to fight. Yet, God promised He would deliver the enemy into their hand. We all know God could have removed every single enemy in a day. We saw Him do just that at the Red Sea, however this time, He did not remove the enemies that way. Instead, He said He would drive them out little by little.

As always, God kept His word, and little by little, every single enemy was driven out and God’s people arrived at the Promised Land.

It is easy to look around and see what is happening in our world or listen to the local media and decide things are getting worse, not better.  But we must dig deeper. The truth is – change is happening – good change.

Just this month in my local newspaper I read an article where several of our local politicians are changing their political parties.  They have decided they can no longer agree with what the left is doing.  Their eyes have been opened to truth.

CEOs are resigning from their companies in mass numbers.  One report attributes the resignations to heightened accountability. That greater accountability has come through people demanding full disclosure not only in business but also morally.

Local school boards are changing as parents have become more and more involved.  We are seeing this across every state – and this is a good thing! Parents are taking the time to be informed about what is being taught in our local schools and when it goes against their beliefs they are fighting back, refusing to be silenced.

We are taking back our nation, little by little.

After God spoke in Exodus 23 telling the people He would drive their enemies out little by little, He confirmed this truth in Deuteronomy 7:22. God reiterated that His people would have a part to play in driving out the enemies they would encounter along the way. These two verses show me that not only will God drive back the darkness, but we also have a part to play removing darkness from our midst.

The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 3:12, “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers.”

James 5:16 says, “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” I love how the Amplified Bible translates it; The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

Intercessors across the nation have been praying heartfelt, continuous prayers and we are beginning to see the manifestation of the tremendous power that type of intercession brings forth. For this reason, we must keep praying.  We cannot stop now.  It is making a difference.  More and more people are beginning to see what is really happening in our world.

People are turning away from what was once mainstream media and are turning, instead to platforms like Headline Prayer at IFApray.org.  People are seeking truth – real truth. This is all happening because of those who are crying out to God.  God’s ears are open to our prayers.  He hears us, and He is responding…our job is to continue to take the land, little by little.  Day by day.  Month after month.

As we search through the pages of the Bible, we see the awesome results of prayer.  These are not just words on a page – they are the manifested power of God.  They are the answers to heartfelt prayers of God’s people.  He is the same God, yesterday, today, and forever.  He hears our prayers today and He is answering. Can you see it?  If not, ask Him to open your eyes and allow you to see all He is doing – and whatever you do – don’t stop praying.

Thank you Kim, for this wonderful reminder to not lose heart and to keep praying. God DOES care and IS listening! I am also so very encouraged by the comments of my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. What a privilege it is to pray in the spirit with all of you! Someday we will be together with Jesus for all of eternity. I can’t wait to get to know you all! God bless you! In these end times, I am reminded of God’s word from Acts 2:17 which says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams”.

Prayer: Father, thank you that you ARE fulfilling your word by pouring your spirit out among all flesh and causing revival to occur within our hearts! Amen.

Thank you for this message. Allow me to share an example of answered prayer in my immediate family from years ago. My Beloved maternal grandfather: John Everett Bass was a godly man. He was so humble and when he prayed about big or little things—GOD was there listening.

It was 1974. My daughter (then age 9) was a bit of a “tom boy” just like I had been.) She loved to climb the one pine tree in our little yard. It was our only tree, and it had limbs that were low enough she could get up there. This tree began to die, and it looked as though we were going to lose it. My mother lived across the highway. She said: “Call Daddy to come and pray.” I did. The next morning about 10 AM he and my grandmother came from Sylvester. He carried my grandmother into my mother’s house, and walked across the highway to our little brick house.

I was watching and waiting for him. He hugged me in his usual sweet way and then said: “Dusty, go inside and fix me something to drink, and I will be in in a little while.” I did, all the while peeping out my kitchen window watching him. He laid both of his hands on our pine tree and began praying for that tree that meant so much to my daughter (and me too.)

In a little while, he came inside and said: “Dusty, don’t worry about your tree anymore. It will live and not die.” It began to come back out and was beautiful. It grew and grew and Jennifer climbed and climbed.

Right then and there, I saw the Scripture of the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
GOD honored my grandfather’s prayer, and we were blessed for many more years to enjoy the beauty of that tree.

It may seem like a little, insignificant thing—but it was Important to Jennifer and to me. GOD hears those who live for him—who love and Honor him—and HE ANSWERS THEIR PRAYERS.

I could have shared many other experiences quite different—but I feel now this is the one I needed to share…..whether it be people, or pets, or trees, etc. GOD is touched by our feelings and our prayers ALWAYS.

On today’s broadcast Judy referenced this article quite a bit. In reading the various comments here it is very encouraging, as it usually is.. and I’m grateful for that.
As you guys said.. kind of.. overall- the incremental nature of the way the Lord is moving us..I was not so much focused on that– but I realize it now..and I do thank you guys so much.. And of course it makes perfect sense. You know Judy sent me a Derek Prince book.. a booklet, really..a little prayer booklet.
It’s called “prayers and proclamations.”… and in that,Derek Prince talks about how he, and I believe also his wife- had to overcome negativity in the early stages of his Christianity. He attributed it to his British upbringing. He said it took quite a while. When I was younger and I was learning a new subject or taking on a new project.. I would always go gangbusters right away- and then fade.
So I have spent much of the later part of my life-as I had realized this -as I faced my old age
..learning to be more consistent in my efforts. Even if it means taking longer to do something.. And as you guys have also stated here- in these threads -in various times and comments- we ( or, I, do not always see how the Lord Works, in His time.. so much, and that is the challenge- to see things through his eyes as he works through us- that is in my estimation.
Joyce’s prayers today on the broadcast, were really wonderful.
She has such a great ability or skill that she has developed.. to reference scriptures as she’s praying-
Lord- I thank you for revealing these things to me and I thank you for this time of Fellowship..I confess I have not been here in recent days very much- on this platform..as I grow discouraged staring at this small phone screen.. But I am encouraged now and have more hope-in remembering- that it’s not always the home run- it is the bunt down the third-base line.. many times-that get us on base. So Lord thank you for continuing to draw us to you through these challenges -as terrifying and isolated as it has been..and for always being ever so patient with us- and I thank you for the prayers of my brothers and sisters here -..and all the hard work that IFA puts into the Tuesday and Thursday morning broadcast. I also thank you so much for Dutch’s blog every morning that encourages me greatly – he exhorted us as well this morning to keep praying. Lord I only pray that I could stay the course.. and if you desire to increase my spiritual maturity.. that I would be able to recognize that prompting on your part, and respond accordingly- and I thank you again,.. for all these things-in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen

As long as there is one intercessor there is hope. Don’t give up intercessors!!
We need each other!
Remember, if God would not bring His wrath because of one person that would stand in the gap —— can you imagine what He’s doing behind the scenes because of all the IFA intercessors that are praying.

Praying God would use Kim’s message to revive all who are weary.

Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. So I will pour out my wrath…..”

Isaiah 59:16 “He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene/intercede “

This gives me such joy!

When answers to prayer come “little by little” it’s hard to see what tremendous progress God is giving us! This artic!e and the webcast today give me great hope and encouragement to keep on! I’m also going to be more alert to watch for “good news” reports–and to pass them on to my friends.

Thank you for this timely message.
One of the things I have to consistently ask the Lords forgiveness is wanting g instant answers even when my head knows a seed planted grows slower for some than others. My daughter planted bulbs that will “hibernate” till spring, then burst forth into beautiful blossoms.
Thank you again for the reminder that God’s ways are not ours but HE is Faithful. AMEN

The Lord has shown us his wisdom. If God made all of this go away, (quickly) we would not need him. Others would go back to their evil ways and people would become complacent with the ways of the world. God has given us these tests to keep our faith and our eyes on Him. Once we stop using prayers like a vending machine and meditate on His word and pray earnestly God will then heal our land.

It is frustrating how so many cannot see the wrongs and are so willing to compromise to get along. The evil needs to be so salient so that people have to stand. I pray we are not headed down a road that leads to a purely authoritarian regime like we saw in the 1930’s

Very good!!! Yes, amen! The Lord recently opened my eyes to Psalm 22:21 and Psalm 118:21, Jesus prayer from the cross was answered, so our prayers can be answered, for this is the day of salvation! Even before a word is on my tongue, He knows it altogether (Psalm 139). Jesus, the lamb of God, slain before the foundation of the world. God became man to bring us back to God! How great and amazing His love, and He is always working, even when we can’t see what He is doing, He is working!! Praise His great and holy name, the name above all names!!!

Yes, there are changes happening. I look at Psalm 46 and it totally explains how God is working and will overcome evil.

Through my prayers, I have felt constantly that God is working and moving in all his children’s lives. We are being saved. We must not stop now. We must believe that only our doubts will slow us now. I feel that the evil people who once had control are going to lose it because of their evil ways and not listening to God. Please don’t stop praying. It is the time to have no fear or doubt. Let God know that we are believing in his words and promises for his children. The hour is near. I can feel it.
God save our nation and your children. Amen

I have not quit praying for Christians’ children to be kept safe from the teachings of godless evilcommunism/socialism and sexual perversion in American educational systems. We cannot loose our loved ones and God’s loved ones.

Yes, Kim, I agree with you. In these End Times that we are living in, prayer is our greatest weapon against our ungodly, deceived politicians. WE ARE slowly but surely taking back ground from the enemy. We MUST keep fighting the good fight of faith, and NEVER grow weary in doing good. Greater is He who is in us, than he who is in the world. There is SO much to be praying about, and we need to remain fervent in our efforts, trusting the Lord to keep moving on our behalf. Our part is to remain faithful. In Jesus’ name.

Thanks for that encouragement! God bless you for giving it! This morning, my thoughts went to Washington’s vision. Could it be we are in that moment of time now? At least, if the vision is fact, and not fiction, it very much resembles what we are facing. May God give us the needed strength to continue interceding, let us continue to claim His promises, and thank Him for victories already won!

So many people are frightened from all the illnesses, deaths and destruction of our American way of life and liberty. God forgive our sins, reveal Your grace and mercy. Bring Your presence into our lives to show others God is the way. Psalm 91

I see more Dr.s questioning.

Give us courage to continue.
