Even as the Biden administration invests billions in the electric vehicle industry, retailers report that those vehicles are just not selling. Why do you suppose that is?

From Breitbart. Electric Vehicles (EVs) are “piling up on dealer lots” as American consumers continue buying traditional gas-powered cars at faster rates, the Wall Street Journal reports. …

The Journal reports:

As a result, electric cars and trucks are piling up on dealer lots, causing auto companies to reassess their investment plans. It takes a dealership around three weeks longer to sell an EV than a gasoline vehicle. …

Aside from a lack of electric charging stations and consumer nervousness over reliability, the cost of EVs remains a prime reason why Americans are choosing gas-powered cars instead.

Figures published in the Journal show that the average EV cost buyers nearly $52,000 last month, while the average gas-powered car cost less than $45,000. …

The Biden administration’s massive taxpayer-funded investments into EVs have yet to come to fruition. For instance, the $7.5 billion allocated to build electric chargers across the United States has yet to produce a single charger. …

Do you think America is ready to switch to electric vehicles? Is there anything wrong with gas-powered vehicles in the first place?

What about all the mining needed to get materials for the batteries? What about when the batteries die? We have nowhere to put them, do we? We already have a used up tire issue. I had an old friend who developed a gas powered engine that hot 100mpg and zero emissions. He was a big name in the big 3 auto world but died before the research was completed. I don’t know what happened but it was the answer to all the “gas powered cars” issue. The right people know how to fix it, why can’t they just fess up and fix it?

So where do we think the electricity comes from that powers up the EVs which have such limited distance? Does the electricity come from coal or natural gas, or perhaps from nuclear power plants? Oh no, I know! The electricityto power our EVs comes from those boxes with the giant plug handles that are at the special parking spaces at the shopping mall. Yes, that must be where the electricity for the EVs comes from! NOT!!! Who are we kidding here?

Electric cars are an invitation to disaster in this nation should electric shut down as it has so many times. And then what happens when your car quits on you and cannot run due to your electric being shut off, or the enemy shuts you down with some sort of weaponry? Stupid ideas from the “brilliant eggheads” who think they are doing something better. HA!!!

Because they blow up in the garage? Just before Christmas, a Tesla recently overheated and burst into flames in Corona, California, just down the street from our grandchildren’s house.

To answer the questions above, I don’t think there is anything wrong with gas powered vehicles they have severed our world well. They have evolved over time getting more powerful, more convenient, and reducing emissions.

I personally would not be able to get by with an electric vehicle (except for a golf cart) because I can’t afford the 8 to 12 hours it takes to charge, the reduction in space of the vehicle to transport my family and other items I need to haul, in addition to the cost of it. Additionally we live in Minnesota so the cold winters cause the EV to be less efficient.

There will come a time when EV’s are practical for some people. However the issues of recycling batteries needs to be resolved. I feel the market needs to drive this, not the government using our taxes.

Lord I pray that the eyes of the people are opened to the truth of how to best use the resources You provide us. Holy Spirit give our leaders wisdom and discernment to do what is best for the people and not as a result to those looking to profit from “green energy”. Lord I ask this in Jesus name!
