A controversial rule
McCarthy’s ouster was orchestrated by Rep. Matt Gaetz (R., Fla.), a longtime foe of McCarthy, who forced a vote on a motion to vacate the chair. The motion then passed, with the support of eight Republicans and all Democrats, marking the first time that the procedure had been successfully used in U.S. history.
The same motion will hang over the head of the next speaker. … Some Republicans have suggested House rules should be changed to remove the ability of just one lawmaker to move to oust a speaker. …
Speaking on Fox News, Gaetz said he wanted to move directly to a speaker vote.
“We should get to electing a new, more conservative, more trustworthy speaker immediately,” he said. “This is not the time to go home for a week.”
A full plate for the next speaker
McCarthy’s final affront, in the eyes of most of his GOP critics, was the decision last weekend to push off a government shutdown in favor of short-term spending deal that Democrats supported. The new speaker will have to wrestle with the same questions, as the federal government is only funded through Nov. 17.
The person will also need to balance widely held GOP priorities such as border security with demands from the right flank, stepping up the impeachment investigation into the Biden family’s finances, and sharply cutting government spending. …
The next speaker will have to navigate pressure from the Biden administration and Senate leadership to send more aid to Ukraine, despite shriveling support from House Republicans. In a vote last week, less than half of House Republicans supported restoring Ukraine-related funding to an annual defense appropriations bill. …

This could very well be Your judgement on America due to National atrocities, Nevertheless, as believers, we know Your mercies are new every morning. Father raise up the most righteous candidate and help them win. Father deliver us from all evil politicians. McCarthy was trying to do right by America, bless him for thst and otgers who are genuinely FOR this nation, and judge those wjo are not. In Jesus name we pray in faith receiving what we have asked.
I don’t Not support sending more money to Ukraine. I’m a Republican and I did not say yes! I don’t Trust Scalise for Speaker, but I would like to see Jim Jordan try it.
Almighty Father and Savior, we ask that you intervene and provide a clear path to elect a new speaker for the House that meets your qualifications and grant your favor to our government to restore peace.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to print an article from a National Newspaper. The article itself is written from one perspective and represents a one sided view of what actually occurred and why. It is especially telling when it uses emotional terms like “chaos” to describe it. Why not have an IFA writer call us to pray for our beloved Country. Good is in all things working for our good. Romans 8:28. Amen?
Could Donald Trump be speaker
I have been praying for our Father to remove people from places of power, position, influence, wealth, who are harmful and set up those who he has chosen in their place to bring redemption to the dark places in our nation, according to the Word of God. Let the Light of Jesus illuminate the darkness and let it scatter according to the Word of God.
Lord search the hearts and instruct the appointment of the one you choose to this position, in the name of Jesus, and by the authority of Christ, let it be done.
Just one more incident that is symptomatic of how our government is so poorly functioning in the End Times. Lord Jesus, I pray for Your will to be done in this, and all, governmental situations. I pray also for Republican unity . It is so vital at this time. Thank You, Jesus.

As Christians we must first get our “house” in order. We must demand that are pulpits preach Christ and only Christ.
The weak churches in America are also to blame for where we are at.
When entire denominations allow pastors that are doing and living lives that are contrary to Biblical values how can we as a body of believers stand against this evil in our government?
Christ Church 100 years ago in America would call out evil. 60 years ago the church went silent when it allowed the Bible and prayer to be removed from our public schools by a handful of self-righteous Supreme Court justices. The church should have irrupted and demanded that Congress overturn this bad bench decision.
It did nothing.
Yes evil exists in our government. But as citizens we need to be the Salt and Light and stand firm for our beliefs.
We must continue to pray and ask God to deliver His Church in America from evil imposters and to allow for a generation of godly men and women to be elected to represent us as Americans and Christians.
Please remember that out the of heart the mouth speaks. That is why the churches that do not line up with the scriptures are not Christian. You can tell by their fruit and many who do everything to please man and not God are not really serving God. The true church is where the Pastors are not allowing themselves to give in to public opinion. God’s word is not an opinion, but rather the truth by which we serve Him and on which we stand. I do pray for all the fake churches to become saved and serving God.

Lord Jesus, we ask you to guide The House of Representatives to look to you, to ask for your guidance in leading our Country.
Does it really matter at this juncture who will lead this feckless and cowardly Republican Party, one that couldn’t
even muster up enough support to overcome the charlatan and slovenly corrupt Biden? Our country is under the
most severe condemnation for fostering the most egregious mortal sins of abortion, euthanasia, homosexuality,
fornication and degeneration of marriage, family solidarity and childhood. As my Grandmother Antoinette said to
me time and time again, “with friends like these, who needs enemies?”, and our enemies are the very citizens within
who are championing the insurrection against our Blessed Lord and his commandments. When those who are
supposed to govern us with the wisdom and succor of our Lord turn around ,year after year and decade after decade,
and spit in his Holy Face and set up their own souls for permanent residency into hell with Satan, then our nation will
have no present and future hope for any semblance of reformation. The kingdom of heaven matters not to these imposters,
only their own phony and perilous ambitions for lust, power and money. Let us recall the three conditions that our Blessed
Lord put forth for entrance into his heavenly kingdom: 1) Unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and
pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of God 2) Unless you liken yourselves to little children, you will not enter the
kingdom of God 3) Unless you are born of water and the spirit, you shall not enter the kingdom of God. Let us all pray
most fervently that we leave this corruption behind and fulfill the three admonitions by our Lord above, so that we will
have eternal peace and joy with him forever and never have to write about or discuss this filth ever again. Now that is
worth living and dying for!

So, I’m writing to encourage you and remind you that the entirety of all creation, every atom and every molecule, moves in accordance with God’s purposes. At His command, He creates and sustains everything and declares “the one He will favor is the one who is humble, who has a contrite spirit and who trembles at His Word.” Jesus is His Word made flesh and He declares, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven” and we know His concern is with spiritual not material. Thanks be to God, He has led you to realize your utter bankruptcy and you know Salvation. I join you fervently praying that we will leave this corruption behind and love our Lord and Savior with our hearts, minds and souls so that we will have eternal peace and joy with Him forever. Many blessings to you and the Lord’s countenance shine on you for your thoughtful and veritable response. Having been born and raised in New York City and lived through the ‘satanic sixties and seventies” as a young boy and teenager, I was given a tremendous discernment by the Holy Spirit to call “a spade, a spade” when it came to identifying all stratifications of evil deportment and demonic behavior in the hell called the New York City school system. What we are seeing today is a simply a rapid mutation of it due to the pathetic indifference of the clergy, teachers and many adults who couldn’t tell their noses from their own faces. I am not so much frustrated, but downright disgusted as to how rapid this degeneration has been and how our adults even at my current age sixty parade around like wayward teenagers without a modicum of faith or morals to guide them and their kids out of this shipwreck. As I have written before, quoting our Blessed Lord Jesus, “be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world.”

Understand the frustration vincent. Thats why we are here, as intercessors for America. Lets remember our passion is to pray for this nation, why, because God needs us to. Its the rightious thing. This nation needs us to pray for it and its elected law makers. The lord has said, “if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray… then He will hear from heaven and heal our land. Congress cant heal our land, the house cant heal our land, not the presedent, vise presedent, supreme court, or any governmental system of man. Only God can heal our land. And only the people of God called by His name can position themselves and intecede for the land and the lost. What a great thing the lord has done and promissed his people! Its very clear, the ball is not in the courts or high offices of man, but the governments of heaven. So as co-citizens of heaven in Christ Jesus, lets obey, and lets pray as we inter the throne room of heaven with full confidence that God will hear us as we humble ourselves under His mighty hand and pray according to His will. when the enemy comes in like a flood, the lord will raise up a standard against him. Thats us! Holding up the word of the Lord and His great promises as church, the mighty wall built upon Christ the rock unshakable, unmoveable, eternal.
