I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray for an end to the war in Ukraine. We ask You give all leaders involved wisdom as they seek to bring an end to the death and destruction.

The internet was abuzz about the contentious meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky last week. After watching the shocking exit of President Zelensky from the White House, more information has surfaced about the meetings that preceded it, the response from the Ukrainian Ambassador, and the hot mic moment.

Who is praying on the wall?

On Friday, February 28th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the White House. The purpose of his visit? To sign a negotiated agreement that would bring Ukraine one step closer to peace with Russia. According to a BBC article published ahead of the meeting,

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet US President Donald Trump in Washington on Friday to sign an agreement on sharing his country’s mineral resources, Trump has said.

Zelensky said the success of the minerals deal, which was formally backed by his government on Wednesday evening, would depend on the outcome of his meeting with Trump this week.

Unfortunately, the minerals deal was not signed on Friday. Instead, Zelensky got into a heated exchange with President Trump and Vice President Vance that resulted in his premature departure from The White House.

From The Daily Signal:

Talks fell apart, however, when Zelenskyy grew indignant about security guarantees from the United States. The Ukrainian president said ā€œthere must beĀ security guarantees,ā€ and added that Ukraine ā€œwill never accept just ceasefire.ā€

Things soured about 40 minutes into the open bilateral meeting, when Vance supportedĀ Trumpā€™s efforts at ā€œdiplomacy.ā€

ā€œThe path to peace and the path to prosperity is maybe engaging in diplomacy,ā€ Vance said, comparing Trumpā€™s approach to the ā€œpathway of [former President] Joe Biden,ā€ which the vice president said was ā€œthumping our chest and pretending thatā€ the United Statesā€™ words matter more than the United Statesā€™ actions.

Zelenskyy then challenged Vanceā€™s conception of diplomacy, to which Vance shot back that Trump was using ā€œthe kind of diplomacy thatā€™s going to end the destruction of your country.ā€ Vance added that it was was ā€œdisrespectfulā€ for Zelenskyy ā€œto come into the Oval Office and try to litigate this in front of the American media right now.ā€

Trump then dropped the hammer, tellingĀ ZelenskyyĀ directly, ā€œYouā€™re not really in good position right now.ā€

Trump told the Ukrainian president itā€™s a high-stakes game. ā€œYouā€™re gambling with World War III, and what youā€™re doing is very disrespectful to the country, this country thatā€™s backed you far more than a lot of people say they should have.ā€

Zelensky left shortly after the exchange, leaving the minerals deal unsigned. Immediately after his argument with the President and Vice President, politicians and constituents alike began to point fingers. Many Trump allies pointed fingers at Zelensky, while others accused President Trump of ambushing the President of Ukraine. President Trump posted on Truth Social that Zelensky “can come back when he is ready for Peace,” while Zelensky stated in a Fox News interview that he would not apologize for his behavior, stating “I’m not sure that we did something bad.”

As we pray about this conflict, it’s important that we know the context. Zelensky was not ambushed in the White House by the President and the Vice President. Rather, it seems he came to negotiate with ulterior motives. According to The New York Post,

Before meeting President Trump, Zelensky met with anti-Trump Democrats who advised him to reject the terms of the mineral deal that the president was offering, according to Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).

ā€œJust finished a meeting with President Zelensky here in Washington. He confirmed that the Ukrainian people will not support a fake peace agreement where Putin gets everything he wants and there are no security arrangements for Ukraine,ā€ Murphyā€™s office posted on X at 11:15 a.m. Friday.

The earlier meeting with Dems undercuts wild claims that Trump and Vice President JD Vance staged an ambush. In fact, it was Zelensky who came with an ulterior motive.

The purpose of the meeting was to sign the mineral agreement that he and Trump representatives had negotiated.Ā He had twice refusedĀ to sign it after promising to, and thanks to Murphy, we now know he had no intention of signing it Friday.

By listening to the nakedly partisan advice of Dems instead of dealing forthrightly with the current president, Zelensky betrayed his countrymen and, for now at least, leaves them without the military and diplomatic protection that only America can provide.

It would seem that Zelensky had no intention of signing the minerals dealā€”at least, not without pushing for some last-minute changes first. As a result, he left Washington no closer to peace than when he arrived.

Image

The Ukrainian Ambassador, pictured above, had her head in her hands after watching President Zelenensky blow up the meetings to secure the U.S.’s help in negotiating peace. So, where does this leave the U.S. and Ukraine? Zelensky posted on X the following day that he was ready to sign the minerals deal. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said that the deal is no longer on the table, although President Trump signaled that Zelensky could be invited back to the White House if he expressed a desire for peace. As reported by several outlets including Just the News, President Trump has put a halt on any aid going to Ukraine-even aid that is currently en route or coming in through Poland. What will happen next? Will there be a deal for peace or will those desiring to stoke a third world war prevail in forcing the hand of the U.S.? For now, all we can do is pray.

Let’s pray against World War 3 and for peace in Europe. Let’s pray for an end to the violence and bloodshed, as the Bible tells us that the Lord “no pleasure in the death of anyone” (Ezek. 18:32). Above all else, let’s pray for God’s will to be done.

How are you praying about this meeting’s results and the end to the war in Ukraine? Share your thoughts, prayers, and scriptures below.

Itā€™s a fact that we overthrew the elected Ukrainian president on 2014. Itā€™s a fact that Biden openly bragged about getting the prosecutor fired who was investigating Burisma and Hunter. Itā€™s a fact that Baker promised That NATO would never move east. Itā€™s a fact that 10 billion dollars to Ukraine has been (ahem) ā€œlost. And no secret that the democrats had no endgame for that war. Conspiracies? If there were no conspiracies there would be no RICO federal statute. Itā€™s how people
operate. Eisenhower certainly did warn the country about the military industrial complex. I think he knew what he was talking bout.

Ok we can keep this going. We have given hundreds of millions in military aid and 10 million has disappeared which is mot seriously denied. Also I never said Zalenskyy came to power in 2014 I said we orchestrated a coup that year and ousted the elected leader. Previously under Obama, Biden blackmailed Ukraine to fire prosecutor investigating Hunter Bidenā€™s ā€œemployerā€ Burisma by threatening to withhold a billion dollars in aid. The corruption spread far beyond Biden and we goaded Putin into a war in order to open the money spigots and begin an aid program that has never been successfully audited and is estimated to come up 10 billion dollars short. So the Dems got us into finding an endless war which canā€™t be won but kept the slim going. Putin invaded Georgia because Bush was tired up in another of his pet wars in the Mideast and invaded Crimea because Obama was weak and went into Ukraine including Donbas because Biden was weak
And Putin does not want hostile foreign countries on his border. Ukraine is a cesspool of corruptionā€¦not the people but the politicians and large companies such as Burisma. And it should be noted that Europe is thinking strongly about forming a powerful European army and would of course be a threat to Russia. Right now Europe is keeping Russia solvent through natural gas and other energy sources which makes no sense except that Biden cut out production way down. American foreign policy revolves around making fortunes. Biden voted for the Gulf war because he had major contracts to build housing in Iraq to US servicemen. The ā€œendless warā€ crowd is in it for the money. Period.

And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. Read the full chapter Ā· Mark 3:25 in all English translations.
We shall continue to be at a loss to solve America’s problems and also to contribute to the solving of international problems until these two parties get on the same page meaning: ON ALMIGHTY GOD’S SAME PAGE! Each and every member of government must surrender to the government of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST or we shall all suffer the consequences.

With regard to Ukraine, it makes no difference that Putin is a bad guy. He is a Russian nationalist and was alarmed at his friends the Serbs losing Kosovo, at our broken promise by Secretary of State Baker not to push NATO east to Putinā€™s border, at our plans to put missiles in Ukraine and our chemical weapons being built there. Also probably at all the corruption being practiced by Americans instead of him. This entire war is a diabolical scamā€¦people being slaughtered in a war so Zalenskyy could launder American aid. There is a special place in hell for warmongers who profit. Regardless of the nationality.

Somewhat forgot to mention that Putin claimed to be the next Peter the Great and took 20% of Georgia before moving onto Crimea and then returned to claim even more territory in Ukraine. I think Putin is well aware that the military of European countries in NATO has been in decline and that their governments are focused on domestic concerns and have no real interest in invading Russia. And I don’t know why Putin would be surprised that we gave Ukraine missile launchers after he is aggressively moved into Ukraine. As far as Zelensky selling military equipment, please keep reading the comments because that has pretty well been disproved.

Hmmmā€¦up to 10 billion dollars in ā€œmissingā€ American aid. Politically connected Ukrainians traveling to European fashion shows and and shopping in Romania while staying in 5star hotels. NATO
      expansion east is seen
      as American expansion
      east and is comparable
to Russia having a a military treaty with Mexico. And by the way we helped overthrow the democratically president of Ukraine in 2014 and installed Zalenskyy. John MCain and Murphy from Connecticut played a major role. Then the
      real pillage of the
      Ukrainian country
      began and Putinā€™s
      invasion led to billions
      of American dollars
      being laundered by
Zalensky and kicked back to his American cronies and his politically astute countrymen. Ukraine is known to be the most corrupt country in Eastern Europe and, having spent several years in the Balkans, I can assure anyone that is saying a lot. And yes,!several tons of American military equipment has turned up on the black market.
This is why most modern wars are foughtā€¦to keep the money flowing and set up a skim, much the way the mob
ran Vegas. Itā€™s likely a major reason JFK was murderedā€¦he wanted to get us out of Vietnam which, as most people know, was a huge cash cow for the so-called military industrial complex. This is how the modern world works. To understand mist wars, just follow the money. This thing in Ukraine could never be won by Ukraine and the democrats wanted it to go on indefinitely. Itā€™s a real crime.

Where do you get this, information? Zelensky was elected in 2019, getting 73% of the vote. He campaigned as a anti-corruption candidate. You are aware that in a list of countries by CPI (Corruption Perception Index) that Ukraine is at the halfway point, but Russia is toward the bottom? Ironic, yes, since Russia tries to paint Ukraine as a corrupt country when the situation is far worse in Russia. Ukraine received about $70 billion (some say $75 billion) in military equipment (not money) and 30 billion in humanitarian aid (food, medicines, etc) from the US. There was also some money spent on training and intelligence support. In an interview Zelensky pointed out that the United States directed how the rest was to be distributed which some misunderstood to mean that money was missing. But actually, no aid was unaccounted for.

The malignant vitriol being hurled at President Trump has a motive far beyond bureaucratic waste and potential peace in Ukraine. The democrats and some republicans are in a panic because 1). Musk is uncovering real corruption whereby mid-level bureaucrats have been sending literally trillions of dollars to friends of corrupt politicians through criminal organizations like USAID, and these revelations could send slot of prophet o prison, and 2) the war in Ukraine is the brain-child of the ā€œforever warā€ crowd of neo-cons and democrats who send ā€œaidā€ to Zalenskyy who has skimmed off billions to be laundered and sent to American pops and connected Ukrainians. Zalenskyy has probably started to suspect that he is a patsy in this game, especially after being told by the despicable Senator Murphy to torpedo the meeting with Trumpā€¦ which he has likely started to regret.
This is why democrats are so vitriolic and close to committing treason. They fear exposure. There is a proverb that anyone who shoots at a king better not miss. They shots at Trump everyday they could for 8 years and missed.

Father, I pray that Zelensky would be open to coming back and signing the peace deal. The mineral deposits are in a place that would keep Russia at bay because if he attacked, he would be attacking Americans and he wouldn’t want to do that for fear of our response. I pray that you would end the war. Open Zelensky’s heart to sign the peace agreement.

I so agree that all parties involved need to be prayed over continuously. Prayer does change things. Also there seems to be unacknowledged elephants in the room. For quite some time before the Oval office altercation, 1)Trump spent a lot of time with Putin; Saudi Arabia (not displayed for the media like the Oval office encounter) and also Trump mentions many talks with him in private before. 2) Trump seems to refuse to call Putin who invaded Ukraine the aggressor and says that he trusts Putin totally to want peace. My question is what transpired in those times with Putin and Trump? All need major prayer and we will likely never know what all led up to the Oval office encounter, but prayer does change things, we cannot be the judge. We pray in Jesus Name for lasting peace and God’s Blessing on all.

When I post on here, people comment afterward, ‘I pray that his eyes will be opened…’ Once again, IFA takes the side of Trump, no matter what. The words and actions of Trump, according to this web site have more authority than scripture. What Trump and Vance did with Zelensky is despicable. There is no defense for this. Clearly, Trump is doing all he can to help Russia. All NATO leaders are now meeting without the US. Trump begins by boasting on video about grabbing women by the p****. He is convicted of sexually assaulting a women. He is convicted of 34 felonies. He runs his campaign by insulting others with offensive nicknames and Christians continue to defend him. Oh, but he is getting rid of fraud? Right.. See the article: https://donmoynihan.substack.com/p/musks-fraudulent-fraud-squad?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&fbclid=IwY2xjawI0LH1leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHQmnC-aWw7nRO_-WDRiV3UsdMeyUXvklk5qAz-Br8Lf3XLbI1TyDkxC_eA_aem_xuLNmYlxlw4Ydb-VaOpXjg

Friends in Christ. It seems important to remember that as followers of Christ we commit to serving the vulnerable and those in need because it is the right thing to do, NOT because it is a “Good Deal” for us or the nation we live in. According to their own words Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump are both Christians. I pray that they and our political leaders of both parties will follow the Holy Scriptures and their Conscience when it comes to doing the right thing and ending the senseless war in Ukriane where unarmed and innocent people are being killed. For those who are trying to figure out the “ulterior motives” of President Zelensky or what is fair or not for the countries involved as a motivation for prayer that is probably a slippery slope that puts a person in the place of being the judge instead of God. America may God shed His Grace on Thee and help return us to our core values that brings peace by reasonable sacrifice and service for our brothers and sisters in need.

Personally I’m shocked at the behavior of Trump and especially Vance butting in. This is the most rude, disrespectful, undiplomatic behavior I’ve ever seen and a terrible embarrassment for us, as the whole world is stunned. They also lied by saying Zelensky hasn’t expressed any gratitude towards the US and was disrespectful because he wasn’t wearing a suit. Then they demanded that Zelensky accept their terms and not discuss it any more. That is what took place and if you didn’t see it then you did not watch the meeting.

Watched the emotional explosion led by Vance.
As I saw it, Vance was out of line and usurped President Trumps authority by his outburst against Zelensky. Pres Trump followed suit making it worse. I am not taking a stand for Zelensky on this at all, but was trying to understand his concern. Also, noticed Zelensky did not lose it like Vance and Trump both did.
I heard Zelensky say that in Trumps last administration there was a peace agreement signed with Russia, but Russia broke it and Trump did not have Ukraines back…his concern this time is that if he did a cease fire. would America have their back or would it go the way it did in Trumps first administration?
Trump, could have answered his fears calmly (which he is so good at normally, if it weren’t for Vance aggressive usurpation).
Vance needs to be put in his place…he acted like a little chuwawa biting the leg of the bad man in defence of his daddy.
Cause their thoughts to become agreeable to your will…Lord God. The honor and admiration Trump is now getting (which he deserves alot of considering the hell he has been through, is warranted) but, too much flattery could make Trump weak…I have seen this happen to my own sons who fell to flattery…a guy can actually lose his character and strength over it…God warns us. A trap.
God, keep President large and in charge and don’t let him succumb to flattery from those who admire him.

This conversation about Ukraine and Russia has been so divisive from the beginning. Personally, I don’t think there are any “good guys” in leadership in either nation so taking sides seems ill-informed. I do condemn any corrupt and evil actions and policies that began and continue to fuel this war – on both sides. As usual it is the people of these nations that suffer, and that is where I have directed my prayers. God raises up and takes down leadership in the nations as He desires, and in response to the cries of His people. And they will answer to Him, whether now or at the judgment seat.
YHVH, I lift up the people of Ukraine and Russia, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please prosper the Gospel even in the midst of the turmoil of war, and in persecution. Raise up the body of Christ to be a shining light in the darkness, and prosper them so that they are able to provide compassion ministry

    March 4, 2025

Graham talking to Zelensky does not tell you what Zelensky thought. Like any world leader, Zelensky probably talks to a lot of people and hears a lot of viewpoints. The point is that you cannot assume that you know what he was thinking. A good reporter would be careful to not cross a line and imply that they know what another person is thinking. Doing that identifies a source as not reliable and implies that they are trying to sway your thinking. They are not reporting the facts.

And you are implying that his wanting more security guarantees is a bad thing. It is what anyone would expect for him to do. So, even if he actually said that he had listened to the Democrats and was swayed by them to think that he had a chance at getting more security guarantees, that in and of itself does not imply that his position was unethical.

This was just supposed to be signing ceremony and lunch, thatā€™s why the press was there.

Zelenskyy had already agreed to sign verbally, twice, this was the third time.

Trump is trying to be the mediator between Zelenskyy and Putin with the goal to stop the bloodshed (getting the mineral rights is a bonus trying to recoup something for the 350 billion the U.S. gave. )

The above article is not reliable. How could the author possibly know if Zelensky came to the meeting with no intention of signing the minerals deal or if he was influenced by Democratic advice??? Did he actually say that? If he did not, how could they possibly know what was in his mind.

And how could anyone claim that Zelensky planned on using the press conference to sway public opinion when Vance unexpectedly stepped in and changed the direction of the conference which led to his response? Up to that point, the press conference was going smoothly.

I think everyone was shocked that Vance would imply that Trump siding with Putin and claiming that Ukraine started the war could be labeled as ‘diplomacy’? The statement was clearly a lie and a rewriting of history. Diplomacy starts with reality. and acknowledging the positions of both parties. That vote will go down in history as one of the most embarrassing moments in the UN by the United States

Having pointed out all this, IFA will probably remove my comment because they censor as much as the Progressives did. I once supported Trump and MAGA but I cannot support lies.

Tucker Carlson is the one who claimed that Zelensky sold HALF of the weapons on the black market and he is not a reliable source. He, after all, promotes the idea that Putin’s Russia is a state that we should emulate and has made claims which have been easily disproved. Most of the weapons given to Ukraine were heavy weapons (tanks, missile launchers, HIMARS,…) for which a drug cartel would have no use. GPS trackers were inserted into some of the equipment and Ukraine used the NATO logistics and account control system. Furthermore, U.S. inspectors have found no proof to back up the claims.

Tucker Carlson provided no proof (specific sources, documents, data…) to back up his claim that Ukraine was selling half of its equipment on the black market. A news reporter like Carlson is aware that claims like this have political consequences and could impact millions and should, therefore, only be made if there is absolute proof from multiple sources.
