According to New Agers, a “powerful cosmic and celestial happening” known as the Lion’s Gate Portal of 2024, is taking place right now. Followers are seizing the moment by participating in occult rituals that they believe will impart dynamic divine power.

The Lion’s Gate Portal opens when the Earth, the star Sirius, and Orion are in alignment, forming a distinctive triangulation. Its name comes from the zodiac sign of Leo, which the Sun transits through during this time. Astrologers insist that this galactic portal was unlocked on July 28 and will remain accessible until August 12, 2024. During this time, it’s believed that powerful transfers of spiritual and cosmic energy can occur between the universe and humans. When this gateway opens, spiritual forces can be channeled on a higher level, which could reveal hidden mysteries, provide psychic downloads, create third eye awakenings, or grant supernatural prosperity and abundance.

Astrologers claim that August 8^th is the best day to “step into your power” by accessing the Lion’s Gate Portal because it “marks the midpoint of the Leo season” and energies will manifest themselves at the highest level. Consequently, they suggest this can “fast track” your enlightenment. While it’s believed that the Lion’s Gate Portal opens every year, some followers are saying that this year’s occurrence is special because it takes place during a “dramatic Mercury Retrograde in Virgo and Leo.”

Witches Love Portals Like the Lion’s Gate Portal

The Lion’s Gate Portal is considered sacred to witches and wizards alike. Incantations and charms are thought to be more powerful, while rituals such as submerging and cleansing oneself in water, wearing amulets, or burning red candles can bring about spiritual transformation. The gateway is also revered as an access route for “divine,” dark feminine energy.

Rachel Stavis, author of Sister of Darkness, stresses that the season of the Lion’s Gate Portal is a “magical time” when one must “face the dark.” She says, “There are two major spiritual aspects of ourselves: our light and our darkness. Many people actively work to avoid their darkness: they ignore it, stuff it down, or bypass that part of themselves. But this is to their own detriment because we can’t move forward–even in abundance–without seeing, understanding and integrating our whole being.” Stavis unapologetically suggests it’s time to forget the “peace, love and light bull–t.” Instead, “thank your darkness,” and embrace your shadow self because it’s uniquely part of who you are.

Astrology and the Occult are Abominations

As Christians, we know that practicing astrology, accessing portals, channeling spirit guides and aligning ourselves with universal energies are forbidden. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states, There shall not be found among you anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes, or interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord.

Additionally, Isaiah 47:13-14 reads, You are wearied with your many counsels; let them stand forth and save you, those who divide the heavens, who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons make known what shall come upon you. Behold, they are like stubble…they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame.

Light Exposes the Works of Darkness

Former professional astrologer Marcia Montenegro was delivered from the occult. She warns, “The belief that the patterns and movements of the planets, sun and moon reflect our lives is contradictory to the view of a living, omniscient God who created the heavenly bodies to reflect and proclaim His glory, not ours. Astrology is also often intertwined with the teaching that since we are all connected to the universe by a force or energy (which is sometimes considered to be divine or to be God), then everything in the universe is one and therefore, there is no true distinction between man and nature; this is called monism (all is one and one is all).”

Montenegro explains that astrology is an unfruitful work of darkness that’s intricately connected to the paranormal. During her days as a practicing astrologist, she often experienced distinct energies and psychic flashes as she was guided through charts and readings. She eventually realized that these demonic forces were feeding her data that she would relay to her clients. These deceptive bits of information would “hook” her clients and make her feel like the work was validated.

After being delivered from darkness and receiving the light of Jesus, she candidly shares, “Spiritually, I had been in a grave with the buddhas and the gurus and the seekers of wisdom who had rejected the truth of Christ. The complicated and intricate studies that had enthralled me, the endless layers of truths and realities I had pursued, the constant effort to evolve, the paranormal experiences, the need to believe in one’s own goodness at all costs, were all a maze and a trap.”

The Lion’s Gate Portal Is Just One Part of Heightened Occult Activity

These days, the occult is no longer hidden, but instead it’s being lifted up on a pedestal for all to see. The opening ceremonies of the 2024 Olympic Games in France, which featured drag queens, half-naked men and blatant pagan imagery, shamelessly brought the occult out into the open on the world stage. Prior to this, the 2023 Grammy Awards show publicly glorified Satan when a dominatrix clad Madonna introduced trans artists Sam Smith and Kim Petras, who performed a demonically inspired song called Unholy. If this weren’t enough, the Super Bowl halftime shows have been riddled with occultic imagery and themes for many years.

Lion of Judah v. Lion’s Gate Portal

When it comes to the occult, the truth is that many people are searching for a way to fill the void in their own hearts and souls. Sadly, in their quest for wisdom, they find darkness instead of light. New Agers and occultists want to access the Lion’s Gate Portal, but they don’t realize that what they really need is Jesus Christ, who is the LION OF JUDAH. He is the source of all wisdom, knowledge, healing, and divine energy in the universe.

People in this world hunger for transformation and divine manifestation, but those things can’t happen with a spirit guide, a deck of tarot cards, or through a mysterious portal. Thankfully, there’s good news because God provides a foolproof way to receive these things and more. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

Jesus commanded and commissioned us to go and tell the good news that salvation is found only in Him. Let’s pray that those seeking the Lion’s Gate Portal would encounter the Lion of Judah!

Lord Jesus, we pray for all those who are seeking enlightenment from the wrong source. Additionally, we ask you to close any portals that have been opened. We pray that you would boldly reveal yourself to the lost and deceived so they could find truth, healing, deliverance and salvation. Let them receive strength and power from the Lion of Judah, rather than a demonic portal.
