I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we thank you for the life of Ravi Zacharias and his love for you. We also pray a blessing on fellow believer Kayleigh McEnany, in her role as WH Press Secretary.

In an exclusive interview with CBN News, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany got emotional discussing the recent passing of famous Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias, someone who made an enormous impact on her with his Christian faith.

“It’s a huge loss,” McEnany told CBN News. “You know, my dad said to me that Billy Graham was the great evangelist. And I think Ravi Zacharias is the great apologist.”

She paused for a moment with tears in her eyes.

When asked where the tears were coming from, she explained further. It goes back to her days developing her faith at Oxford University in England of all places.

“To have someone from an academic place, as an apologist could equip you with those arguments where you didn’t have to check your brain at the door when you became a Christian where there is the intellectual foundation for everything we believe,” McEnany explained. “There’s prophecy. There’s the human cell. There’s the amazing creation of the human body and all of its complexity and the planet, the universe.”

“And he put a philosophical and academic rationale for the heart that I had for Christ, but gave me the ability to go to Oxford, where there are renowned atheist scholars who try to say there’s no intellectual undergirding for Christianity,” she continued. “Ravi Zacharias, who happened to have an office at Oxford was the person who provided the counter to that, the intelligence behind why we believe what we believe. . . .Ravi Zacharias provided those steps to put in the minds of an academic, ‘wow, I should give the Christian faith some thought.'”

[Upon reflecting on his passing, McEnany concludes], “so Ravi, his life may have ended, but his life continues in then the next life. He is someone I’ll meet in heaven and rest assured his legacy will always be here and he will continue to change lives,”

Father, saint and sinner, Ravi was a most needed apologist to the humanist community and even ordinary Christians who lived with these family members and acquaintances. Yet Ravi had the keen perception to understand what was behind a scathing question or an outright challenge. His zinger gift and mind from Your heavenly storehouse needs to be multiplied globally. Please do a loaves and fishes work in our world to accomplish the multiplication of this type of love and caring for humanity that gave him a dignity in the eyes of so many searching young academic types…and for those who still disdain him, Father, grant mercy for another touch from heaven like Ravi to impact them–eh, Jesus, Himself in dreams, visions and divine encounters. You are love, Halleluia!

You know when Walter Martin passed away I was like who’ll replace him. Then many years later I heard of a man named Ravi Zacharias. He reminded me so much of Walter Martin. I was excited. I loved his teachings. He was a God fearing man. He had a soft spoken voice and talked with passion about the Lord. He may be in heaven with the Lord but at least we can still hear his messages online.

I would hear him on his program “I’m Just Thinking” on Moody Radio. I was so impressed by not only his intellectual knowledge of the Bible, and books and tenets of other religions too, but especially by his demeanor. He would patiently and with love address each person’s question. So honoring to the people he spoke with !

Ravi was such a brilliant apologist and helped me form my argument with unbelievers. He was funny, yet incredibly well read and provided facts and historical data to support his facts. He will be sorely missed but I am sure they are rejoicing in heaven!

I am praying that Ravi’s passing is a SEED set into this world, that THOUSANDS will replace him in his work.

I LOVE that Man! He was like a mental-superhero, so powerful, yet his love and compassion for the lost allowed him to be gracious to people who showed him/Jesus rudeness and contempt as he shared the Gospel. He saw them as hurting people who just needed their questions answered…and he had the skill and diligent study to answer them with the love of Jesus Christ. He not only taught about Jesus, but he lived his life as a visible example of Who Jesus is. Mighty ambassador, amazing, sweet, precious Brother in Christ…

I so loved Ravi, He indeed was a great apologist! And one of the few Christians speakers whom spoke such deep profound truths that I was willing to listen to the same video clip repeatedly because there was just so much wisdom to harvest from his words. He passing is a great loss to the Christian world. And I am so thankful that his teaching will live on through his books and videos

Close to two decades ago I was inspired to spend time with God in the early morning hours. After months of developing that good habit, a day came when I missed my morning time. The day became chaotic, felt like I was unraveling. The next morning I got in my car wondering why the day before had gone so bad. I turned on the radio and heard Ravi’s words “Seek him early or your feelings will betray you.” The Lord Jesus used Ravi to encourage me not to miss out on the very best way to start the day. It’s how we get what we need to cope with whatever might come our way.
I wish I’d had the chance to meet and thank Ravi this side of Heaven. But thank the Lord Jesus I’ll see him there!

In 2004 I was blessed to study Ravi Zacharias lesson titled, Jesus Among Other Gods. Subtitle, The Absolute Claims of the Christian Message. That is the challenge we face, to speak about the absolute claims of Christ in a world that increasingly accepts the idea that the only absolute is that there are no absolutes. I know this- spending time with Jesus will transform your life.

I have heard several messages by our brother, Ravi Zacharias. I only wish, I had listened to more. My wife and I had a chance to meet Ravi at a conference at the Jersey Shore. I loved his messages, but especially how he handled questions given by the audience, at some of the venues I watched either on t.v. or my computer. Ravi will be missed, but his legacy will continue. I’m sure he would say, It’s not about me, it’s all about my Savior Jesus Christ.
