I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, we give you the glory for the election of men and women who honor You in Virginia. Lord, lead and guide Youngkin, Sears, and Miyares as they prepare to lead the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Republicans in Virginia triumphed in the closely watched races for governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general on Tuesday. . . .

The gubernatorial race in Virginia was the most closely watched of the off-year elections and was viewed by some as a referendum on the first months of the presidency of Joe Biden. The three victories are a major signal for both political parties because Biden carried the state comfortably in 2020 by a 10-point margin.

Youngkin and McAullife argued over some of the most divisive issues in the nation on the campaign trail, including abortion, the teaching of critical race theory, and the presidency of Donald Trump.

The election outcome is particularly notable because the electorate cared less about the pandemic than the economy. According to an AP poll, 34 percent of Virginia voters ranked the economy as their top priority, twice as many as the 17 percent who picked COVID-19. The White House has struggled over the past few months with a sluggish economic recovery compounded with an alarming rise in inflation.

The three losses in a state that has trended toward Democrats for more than a decade would deepen the sense of alarm inside the party heading into next year’s midterm elections when control of Congress is at stake. (Excerpt from The Epoch Times. Picture credit: Getty Images.)

Fox News reported:

“This is a moment, a defining moment,” Youngkin declared, “where we get to stand up and say no to this left, liberal, progressive agenda.”

Youngkin’s win in Virginia ends the GOP’s 12-year losing streak in statewide races in Virginia.

IFA interviewed Governor-Elect Glenn Youngkin and Lieutenant Governor-Elect Winsome Sears. Find out about how their faith and values moved them to run for office.

Oh yes. Also the state where Rev Robert Hunt planted the cross at Cape Henry and first made a covenant with God to help spread the gospel! Virginia. The first kingpin to fall! Hallelujah!

Amen. I just would have liked us to be on a prayer call for this neck and neck race for New Jersey. It is disappointing for such a time as this. God continue to have mercy and grant the victory in this race for Your best man. We do celebrate and bow and worship and thank YOU for the victory in VA. Hallelujah!!!

I praise God for his answers to our prayers for godly leaders and to restore our nation. God is not finished with America! We saw wonderful results last night with grass roots support for new leaders, who are not professional politicians, and whose message resonates with concerned citizens to restore our nation, promote freedom, stand against lawlessness and the spirit of anti-christ that has been attacking our health, shutting down churches, attacking our nation, our children, our schools, our military, our first responders and small businesses. We must continue to pray daily for our nation and our communities and push back against evil and darkness in this great land.
