I Prayed have prayed
Father, all along the way with this movie there has been pushback from the enemy, but You have been victorious and lives have been touched. We pray that what the enemy meant for bad would result in good for Your Kingdom! Be glorified, Lord!

UPDATE, Thursday, March 5, 3 pm: Unplanned star Ashley Bratcher tweeted this today–“Hallmark has gone on the record & the MovieGuide Awards will re-air to include Unplanned’s nominations on 3/9 @ 10PM on @HallmarkDrama Please be sure to tune in or stream on the Hallmark app! I have received & accepted apologies. Extend grace, my friends.”

Thank God for this answered prayer.

The popular pro-life film “Unplanned” was honored with three nominations for the 28th Annual MovieGuide awards which aired on February 24 on Hallmark Drama. Yet, despite the fact that the film was recognized on stage for its nomination for one of the Best Movies for Mature Audiences, every mention of the film was cut from the televised show.

According to a press release, “Unplanned” received nominations for the Faith & Freedom Award as well as Best Movie for Mature Audiences. The film’s star Ashley Bratcher was also nominated for the Grace Award for most inspiring performance in a film.

“As many of you know, Unplanned was up for a couple of MovieGuide awards,” Bratcher wrote on Facebook. “I was personally nominated for the Grace Award for most inspiring performance in a film. HALLMARK HAS COMPLETELY SCRUBBED US FROM THE ENTIRE SHOW. We were the ONLY nominees who were not recognized. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE.”

Bratcher said that while they expected that the speech might be cut, the team behind “Unplanned” was shocked to realize that the film was also erased from the televised list of nominees. While Live Action News is unable to verify if “Unplanned” was the only film to be excluded, Bratcher called the film’s omission “outrageous.”

Bratcher also shared the speech she gave at the awards with her Facebook followers, during which she said, “It’s all glory to God and if no one remembers our names when this is over, please remember this: God is so real. He loves you so much. He has a plan for your life. Life is precious. And to every woman facing a crisis situation please know that you can be successful and be a mother, and that children will enrich your life along the way.”

Where evil abounds, God’s grace abounds more!
I choose not to judge the Hallmark channel instead I choose to pray they will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
I will fight evil with good, not with condemnation.

I should have read all the way to the end before I hit amen. I can’t remove it so I’ll have to comment. Where we do not hate Hallmark the people we do hate the evil that they are doing and we must definitely stand against it. We do pray that they will repent and turn and we know a God Is Able but until they do, we’re standing against what they’re doing and for their repentance.

I had an abortion many years ago. God healed me. Now I do a post abortion Bible Study with women who have been deeply wounded by this procedure. I saw Unplanned with two of these women after one of the the Bible Studies ended. It is a very realistic and amazing movie that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. I even purchased it so that my husband could watch it, and it is currently loaned out to a friend. Shame on Hallmark for omitting it from their broadcast! They are trying to straddle the fence, which never works and eventually causes injury and pain. I am thinking that a lot of people will be boycotting their channels and their stores.

Abba Father, Please use this movie powerfully and allow it to be viewed by millions here in the U.S. and across the globe. Convict hearts and encourage those who are caught up in bondage of guilt and shame. Because the enemy wants to stifle the impact of this movie, I pray you would do a 180 degree move on the enemy and open it up to viewers full force.

I too will boycott Hallmark until there is a change, even if I have to make my own cards.

Wow, this is so unacceptable! I guess the “tolerant” left is not so tolerant!

The good news is we do not need the approval of men or organizations. We have been approved by God Almighty and His love and message will be heard regardless of whomever tries to silence it!

I think Hallmark would do well to read the story about the Boy Scouts of America, and their fall into bankruptcy after accepting the political correctness. I remember about 7 years ago when Boy Scouts started accepting homosexual leaders and Scouts. Since then their organization has gone downhill until they had to declare bankruptcy recently. The article (entitled “The Defining Moment of the Boy Scouts” from the Family Research Council) stated “That’s the destiny of any Christian who takes the naive view that the world can be placated”. In just a few years we will all remember when Hallmark Channel had been the refuge of Christians who didn’t want to watch the endless stream of LGBTQ and other worldly propaganda on all other network and cable shows. This is Hallmark’s defining moment, when their loyal viewers will start leaving. I wonder if Hallmark will last as long as the Boy Scouts did after caving to political correctness.

I appreciate your comment. Thank you for being clear headed. Discernment is considered hateful in America today.

Unfortunately Hallmark was known for their crown of righteousness as they protected family with making movies supporting traditional Godly values.
As I kept watching they added the good witch series.
Which we know there is no good witchcraft.
They were calling evil good and trying to make it look good.
So I am not surprised they have dropped their crown of righteousness and picked up the horns and tales of deception adding LGBT movies and will continue to try to package those movies as good as well.
So striking done eliminating Unplanned from the awards is not shocking to me.
We must see that we are in a spiritual battle. Awaken Arise Stand Alert in prayer with the full armor of God on .We are in the end times and we must continue to watch andpray and not lose heart.Declare and decree that His kingdom come His will be done as it is in heaven.
We win in the end must occupy until He comes.
Hallelujah to one and only King worthy to wear a Crown.

God is sovereign so I thank You Father that whoever needed to see Unplanned saw it and I pray Father that whoever still needs to see it that You would highlight this movie to give them hope and a “way of escape” to women who are contemplating abortion and its in Jesus’ name I pray. Father I am so thankful for those who created the movie. Even though they may not receive an award in this life they have received a “well done good and faithful servant” from You Father.

Lord, please confuse the strategy of the demonic realm fueling abortion. Make one lie prove another wrong until they kill each other and fall to the ground in Jesus name, Amen.

God is faithful to his word. If you seek to save your life, you will lose it but if you choose lose your life (ie give up your plans, your way, your fears, yours solutions, your selfishness, etc) then you will find it.Luke 17:33

Lord be glorified through this movie. I was in this situation back in 1974 a senior in HS. I made the heart wrenching choice to give her up for adoption. We just found each other this past November. It is a bitter sweet story with a very happy ending. We are very involved with each other’s lives. I thank God that he gave me this courage and strength to do the right thing and give her up, but I also knew we would find each other. He gave me that Faith!
