1405th Day of Intercession for Ukraine!

🙏🙏🙏
🛡 Prayer Shield of the Intercessors of Ukraine

💛💙 What we thank God for:

• Prayer Breakfasts are traditionally held in different regions of Ukraine. Today, such an event took place in Cherkasy, uniting spiritual leaders, representatives of the authorities and the city community. The prayer event in Cherkasy once again proved that in times of trials, prayer remains the space where unity, hope and strength to move forward are born.
• In this Christmas period, the Interfaith Mobile Group of the Military Chaplaincy Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made a pastoral trip to the East of the country. Chaplains visited combat units to support Ukrainian soldiers with prayer and to convey the Bethlehem Fire of Peace – a symbol of hope and light in times of war.
• Currently, Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding the defense on the approaches to Kostyantynivka, in the Donetsk region, despite Russian statements about alleged control over part of the city.
• The Energy Development Fund of Georgia sent nine generators of various types and capacities to Ukraine.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 3 tanks, 6 armored combat vehicles, and 113 units of automotive equipment.

💥 Threats remain:

• The Russians launched an air strike on the front-line city of Orekhov in the Zaporizhia region. They struck the Dnipropetrovsk region.
• The Russian occupiers advanced in the city of Myrnograd in the Donetsk region and Hulyaipole in the Zaporizhia region.
• Information and psychological special operations (IPSO) are not just propaganda, but part of a full-scale hybrid aggression. The Russians are using them to undermine the Ukrainians’ faith in victory and sow chaos within the state.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray for the resolution of the unresolved issues after the meeting at the highest level in the USA, in particular, the functioning of the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the issue of territories. We pray for finding a middle ground regarding these points of the peace agreement, as well as for providing real security guarantees for Ukraine.

• As stated in the Word of God, we pray for the leaders of our country, for God’s wisdom for them in foreign policy, in conducting negotiations at various levels, in establishing new relations, in reaching agreements that are effective for our country.

• We intercede in prayer for our defenders, so that they may accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, so that they may not perish, but have eternal life in Him.

• In conditions of not only physical war, but also information war, there is a need to pray for the strengthening of our positions on this flank of the front. Russia is using powerful systemic propaganda against Ukraine, which is part of a full-scale hybrid aggression. We pray for effective counteraction to various hostile info-fake and provocative messages. That the enemies will not be able to influence the change in people’s moods and behavior through them, as well as sow panic, division, distrust of the authorities and critical institutions, undermine the morale of society and reduce the effectiveness of the defense and unity of Ukrainians.

• We pray for the strengthening of Ukraine, in particular, through the growth of economic indicators, the creation of healthy competition, as well as through the potential of entrepreneurship, in order to strengthen the power of sovereignty and protection from external aggression.

• We pray for those people and organizations that help return Ukrainian children from Russia. On the successful preparation of such missions and on the increase in the number of children returned to their homeland.

«Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.»
Psalms 4:1 NIV

❤️ What we thank God for:

• Thank God for the fire of prayer for our country, which is constantly supported by thousands of intercessors both in Ukraine and abroad. Thank God for the faith that does not fade under the pressure of circumstances. We are thankful to the Mykolaiv region for the prayers last week and thank Kyiv region for support during the next.
• Power is being restored in Ukraine after shelling.
• Repairs to the power line have begun near the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Another local ceasefire has been declared around the plant.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 5 tanks, 8 armored combat vehicles, and 166 units of automotive equipment.

⚡️ Threats remain:

• The Russians dropped aerial bombs on Sloviansk. They attacked an energy facility in Poltava region. They attacked Odessa region and Kherson. Russia has also intensified missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian ports.
• During the week, Russia used 94 missiles, more than 2,100 strike drones and about 800 guided aerial bombs against Ukraine.
• The occupiers are recruiting combatants to teach in schools in the occupied territories..

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray that the bloody war machine of murder will be stopped. That the intentions of those who seek to support and inflame the hearth of war will be in vain. That the efforts of people of peace will be consolidated.

• We do not stop praying for our soldiers. May the Lord be their protection and hope, may they be strong in spirit.

• We pray for a sufficient number of ministers at the front who could provide spiritual support to our soldiers. For the unity of chaplains of different faiths, for focusing on the salvation of souls.

• We pray for getting of information about the missing. For the establishment of an effective mechanism involving various channels for the search, including international organizations.

• We also support in prayer the hundreds of people from various services who worked and continue to work on reconstruction work after another massive attack by the Russians. Especially rescuers, energy workers. May the Lord restore their strength, may He strengthen their souls after what they have seen, may He guide them through these trials.

• We pray that the Lord will help us to be faithful in praying for our country and people. To learn what His will is, to pray as the Holy Spirit directs. Support each other, do not give up. Stand faithfully on the spiritual watch of our homeland.

«Although the peoples roar like the roar of surging waters, when he rebukes them they flee far away, driven before the wind like chaff on the hills, like tumbleweed before a gale. In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone! This is the portion of those who loot us, the lot of those who plunder us.»
Isaiah 17:13-14 NIV

• Russian aggression against Ukraine is leading to the systematic destruction of religious buildings, in particular in the occupied territories, access to which is physically impossible. Currently, the scale of the destruction is recorded not only on the ground, but also using satellite images.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray that in the midst of these trials people will be open to God. That His Word will become alive for them, strengthen their hearts and fill them with hope for the future.

• We pray for the spiritual strengthening of Ukrainians, that their hearts will not despair in anticipation of the end of this bloodshed. May the Lord strengthen us in trust in Him and complete reliance on the fulfillment of His will for each person individually and for the country as a whole.

• We intercede in prayer for our defenders, for these souls precious to the Lord. That they will accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and not perish, but have eternal life.

• We pray for the people who suffered after today’s attack by Russian criminals. May God’s help come so that they may have peace in their hearts, may they be provided with medical and material assistance. We ask that the Lord guide them through these trials.

• We pray for children, teenagers and youth. For the improvement of their psycho-emotional state, for a decrease in anxiety, for obtaining the right orientations for the future. For churches to actively involve youth in ministries, so that they will be converted to Christ.

🌻 What we thank God for:

• The well-known Bible study platform Logos has published the results of a large-scale study that summarized 76 million Bible study sessions for 2025. According to the report, the most popular Bible verse of the year was 2 Timothy 3:16: “All Scripture is inspired of God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness.” The authors of the study believe that the choice of this particular verse shows that the majority of users are convinced that the Holy Scriptures have a divine origin, and are not the human product.
• A Christmas procession took place in the central streets and squares of the capital of Ukraine, uniting military families and artists in a joint celebration of the birth of Christ and the memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

• We pray that in the desert of suffering, the Lord will break the enemy’s plans and open up new opportunities for our country. That Ukraine will rise and become stronger in God.

• A meeting between the American and Ukrainian presidents is planned approximately for December 28. As noted, the level of specificity is now higher than it was before. But the most difficult issues, such as security guarantees, compliance and Russia’s legal obligations, remain unresolved as before. We pray for common ground in the negotiation process, for taking into account Ukrainian interests and for wisdom for the President of Ukraine.

• We pray that the weapons used by Russia– lies and provocations – will not be effective. May Russia’s intentions become clear, may the world see these criminal intentions and the true face of the aggressor.

• We bless every man and woman who are on the front lines. May the Lord be their shield, may He protect them from enemy bullets. May God’s love and salvation be revealed to everyone.

• We pray for the strengthening of chaplaincy ministry, for it to be filled with God’s fire both on the front lines and in the rear. May the heart of every chaplain be filled with Christ’s love and compassion.

• We pray for families, on the destruction of which the devil directs his forces. For responsible fatherhood, for the preservation of the continuity of generations, based on God’s principles. About raising children who would turn to God.

• We pray for people who live in close proximity to hostilities and who depend on humanitarian and food aid, because they do not have access to food. May they not be abandoned by people and the state, may the Lord take care of every such Ukrainian and help in difficult circumstances.

❤️ What we thank God for:

• “For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given. The government will be on His shoulder, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:5).
Today, in times of great trials for our people, these words from the Bible take on special depth. When the world around us is filled with the pain of loss, injustice, and anxiety, we can find comfort, strength, and help in the One who is the eternal and mighty God!
• A Christmas nativity scene with a scene of worship of the newborn Jesus Christ has appeared on St. Sophia Square in Kyiv. The initiators of the installation seek to return the Christian meaning of Christmas to the public space. And they emphasize that this is not just a Christmas decoration, but a public testimony of faith, a reminder of the spiritual foundations of Ukrainian culture and the hope that Christmas brings to society in times of war.
• The number of supporters of war has decreased to a record low in Russia.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 3 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, and 159 units of automotive equipment.

⚡️ Threats remain:

• Russian war criminals hit a multi-story building in Chernihiv, and also hit an important energy facility. They launched a series of targeted strikes on a thermal power plant in the nearest suburb of Kharkiv. They hit Zaporizhia.

• In Donetsk region, children will be forcibly evacuated from 19 settlements together with their parents.
• Without the restoration of the Kakhovka Dam, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant will not operate, and 2 billion euros will be needed for its restoration.
• China is helping Russia to attack Ukrainian energy. Intelligence records an increase in Russia’s ties with those entities in China that can provide space intelligence data.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• In these Christmas days, we continue to unite in prayer for Ukraine. We ask the Lord for a spiritual revival for our country, a return to life in dignity and freedom. We pray that everyone in our country will feel the joy of Christmas despite all the worries. That God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, will reign in hearts.

• We embrace with prayer every defender, every family and everyone who has lost their home or loved ones. We ask for protection for our soldiers, healing for wounded souls and bodies. We believe that the Lord stands beside us today, helping us.

• Ukraine has entered the top ten countries in the world with the highest level of “brain drain” and has become the absolute leader in Europe in this indicator. There is a need to pray for an improvement in the security situation in the country, the restoration of justice and care for people, which are the main factors in the return of Ukrainians and the restoration of Ukraine.

• We pray for people who are being evacuated from communities that are constantly under Russian shelling. That they receive medical, legal, psychological and humanitarian assistance if necessary, and are also provided with housing.

• We pray for our Ukrainian children, many of whom have experienced the horrors of war. For those who were forcibly taken from occupied territories to Russia, for those who were taken from their mothers in EU countries. For orphans for whom there is no one to stand up. We pray that the Lord will intercede and help.

• We pray that God’s people will receive renewal during this special festive season. That circumstances will not drown out the voice of faith in our hearts, that we will remember His promise: “I have overcome the world.” And this means that the last word will always be with God, not with evil. Moreover, the light of Christmas reminds us: darkness is temporary, but God’s victory is eternal!

«For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.»

• Industrial inflation has increased in Ukraine due to the increase in the cost of supplying electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray for the restoration of the power grid facilities damaged by Russian criminals after today’s attack, so that the power of the nuclear power plant can be increased to nominal values. We also pray that such attacks do not go unnoticed by the world community, because attacks on the infrastructure that provides power for its own needs and the output of the nuclear power plant are a gross violation of international nuclear safety requirements.

• We pray for agreement between Ukraine and our partners in defining strategic goals and achieving them. For the timely provision of the necessary equipment to deter the Russian invasion.

• We pray for the search for internal resources to direct them to the defense of the country, the establishment of various processes within Ukraine to strengthen its defense capabilities. For the rise of strong leaders and statesmen, who would truly care for the country and realize their responsibility before God.

• Alarming changes in public sentiment have been recorded in Ukraine: only 36% of citizens believe that the country is fully or partially moving in the right direction. At the same time, a significant part of the population is convinced that the development of the state is taking the wrong path. Therefore, there is a need to pray for the restoration of the level of trust in state institutions and a sense of the prospect of the future, and for there to be real prerequisites for this. So that people do not reach a critical point, when the level of uncertainty and disappointment becomes systemic.

• We pray for the creation of favorable conditions in Ukraine for young people, such as obtaining a quality education and further implementation in their country. So that those in power speak to people from a position of constructiveness and motivation.

• We pray that Ukraine will not be left without support, that evil will not be supported and encouraged to act further. We pray that Ukraine will be able to provide for the main budget expenditures in full and direct its internal resources to the defense of the country.

• We pray for the president, prime minister, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and other high-ranking officials of the country. May the Lord and His Word be their main advisor. May they be guided by God’s wisdom in making important decisions. May they be defenders of the country.

• We pray for the soldiers. May they see God’s supernatural miracles – protection, healing, love and mercy. May hearts be open to Christ so that He can enter there.

• Many Ukrainians are forced to leave the frontline areas. We pray for the elderly, people with disabilities or limited mobility, as well as low-income families who have to move to safer places. Attacks on the dam are new attempts by the enemy, in addition to an attempt to disrupt logistics for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to also harm the civilian population or cause large-scale flooding and a man-made disaster. There is a need to pray that these intentions of the occupiers are not realized, for the protection of this important facility.

• We pray for the strengthening of our positions on the information front, preventing involvement in the disinformation field that the enemy creates to achieve its goals, and the creation of our own, in particular for foreign countries.

❤️ What we thank God for:

• Prayer is a lamp in the darkness, a guide for further actions, so the Church prays diligently. The marathon of fasting and prayer continues: Kherson region passes the baton to Ternopil region. Thank God!
• During the Military Prayer Breakfast, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine reported that about 500 chaplains, representing 13 religious organizations, currently serve in the Armed Forces. He also emphasized the important role of spiritual support in the army, and also noted that joint prayer for Ukraine becomes part of the spiritual stability of the army.
• Our military liberated a village from the occupiers in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 3 tanks and 98 units of automotive equipment.

⚡️ Threats remain:

• Russia carried out a massive combined strike on the infrastructure of Kremenchuk in the Poltava region and attacked Zaporizhia and the region with guided aerial bombs.
• Russian occupation troops attacked the Pecheneg Reservoir Dam on the Siverskyi Donets River in the Kharkiv region.
• Russian troops are advancing on several fronts at once, which allows the Kremlin to take a tougher position in any potential negotiations.
• The Russians massively attacked the energy sector of the Poltava region.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We do not stop praying for peace on our land and, first of all, for peace in the hearts of people with God. And also for the end of this war.

• We pray for the president of the country. May the Lord be his main advisor. May he be guided by God’s wisdom in making important decisions in the interests of the country, may his heart be open to truth and light.

• We pray for the strengthening of our air defense, so that it can repel the maximum number of enemy missiles. For agreements with international partners, so that the resolution of these issues is not delayed. We also pray for the leveling of the energy situation after the last blow of the enemies.

• We pray for the defense of our cities and villages, especially in the Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Zaporizhia regions. We ask for God’s help, protection and wisdom.

• We pray for our prisoners of war that the Lord may be their support, that they may wait for their liberation. We pray for the resumption of the exchange of prisoners.

• We pray that the Church, opposing primarily the rulers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, the spiritual forces of evil, be clothed in the full armor of God. To act, using His authority and power.

“Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. At the uproar of your army, the peoples flee; when you rise up, the nations scatter.”
Isaiah 33:2-3 NIV

❤️ What we thank God for:

• We thank God for every day we have lived, for His support in this extremely difficult time. Only in Him can every person realize who they really are and why they live in this world.
• The second Military Prayer Breakfast was held in Kyiv. It was an event that united the state leadership, clergy of different confessions, representatives of law enforcement agencies, families of fallen soldiers and foreign guests. The event was held on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The prayer breakfast continued the tradition of support for the military and strengthening of the role of chaplaincy in times of war.
• Our air defense neutralized 585 Russian drones, 29 cruise missiles and one ballistic missile.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 2 tanks, 2 armored combat vehicles, and 130 vehicles.

⚡️ Threats remain:

• Russians attacked Kyiv region and Lutsk. They struck Chernihiv region.
• As a result of Russia’s massive nighttime attack on energy infrastructure, nuclear power plants were forced to reduce their generation capacity.
• Kherson TPP was destroyed by Russian shelling. 40,000 residents are left without electricity and heat.
• Zaporizhzhia NPP temporarily lost all external power for several hours this night, which happened for the first time during the full-scale invasion of Russia.
• The protective shield of the Chernobyl NPP, built to contain radioactive materials from the 1986 disaster, can no longer perform its main safety function due to damage by a drone.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• Not a single day in Ukraine goes by without enemy shelling both on the front and in cities and villages. We pray that the Lord will help us get through this trial and help us not to despair, not to fall, but to be constantly strengthened by Him.

• Today is the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And our prayer today is for everyone who is at the front, who sacrifices their comfort and constantly risks their own lives. May our prayer be invisible armor for our soldiers. May the Lord cover everyone with His protection, give peace in anxiety and hope in the midst of darkness.

• We pray for chaplaincy, in particular, for an increase in the number of military chaplains to meet the growing needs of the military for spiritual support. That opportunities be opened for ministers of different denominations to be chaplains. About state support for this important ministry

• We pray for opportunities to restore critical infrastructure, including energy facilities, centralized water supply and heating systems, so that the basic needs of people for water, heat and electricity are met.

• We pray for the strengthening of the spiritual army in Ukraine, which protects and counteracts evil. For strong spiritual warriors who realize their responsibility before God for why they are placed in this country at this particular historical period.

«As for me, I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.»
Psalms 55:16-17 NIV

1381st Day of Intercession for Ukraine!

🙏🙏🙏
🛡 Prayer Shield of the Intercessors of Ukraine

🇺🇦 What we thank God for:

• We thank the Ukrainian churches, which during the war became some of the most active volunteers in the country. Thousands of Protestant churches have turned into volunteer hubs: they formed humanitarian cargoes, prepared food, sheltered displaced persons, organized evacuation from “hot” territories, supported the Ukrainian Armed Forces and units. Often, ministers and volunteers risked their lives delivering aid or taking people out of shelling. In many deoccupied areas, it was the churches that were the first to start repairing housing, restoring community centers, and providing psychological support.
• Another 18 children aged 2 to 17 were returned from the occupied Kherson region.
• Sweden will gradually stop development assistance to five countries in order to redirect funds to support Ukraine.
• The UK government is ready to transfer eight billion pounds of Russian assets frozen in the country to support Ukraine.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 1 armored combat vehicle and 94 units of automotive equipment.

🔥 Threats remain:

• The occupiers attacked Kharkiv and the region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk region with strike drones, as a result of which a 12-year-old boy died and there are injuries.
• Russian troops advanced near Yampil, Siversk and Viyimka in the Donetsk region.
• Russian troops attacked the energy sector in several regions, there are power outages in four regions – Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Odessa regions. Almost 90% of residents in the Chernihiv region have lost power.
• A new wave of anti-Ukrainian disinformation is being recorded on Polish social networks, in particular, the spread of fakes about “dangerous products from Ukraine”.
• Denmark will almost halve aid to Ukraine.
• Russia is increasing funding for the Global South, increasing external lending and debt cancellation to foreign countries.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray for the cleansing and healing of our country. May it rise despite the forecasts and disappointing prospects. May it bow before God to receive the strength for resurrection.

• We pray for a balanced tax policy and pricing. That economic problems are not transferred to ordinary people. For the effect of restrictions and control over the use of budget funds. For the cessation of various money schemes.

• We pray for God’s support for our soldiers on difficult sections of the front. May the Lord lift and inspire those who are tired, whose hearts are gripped by fear and despair. May hope and God’s peace fill their hearts.

• Today, Ukraine and the world celebrate International Volunteer Day. Let us pray for those who do not remain indifferent and support Ukraine, our defense, our soldiers, and life in our communities. Let us pray for continued unity and mutual support of Ukrainians, especially in times when many want to divide us.

• We pray for financial support for Ukrainians from the state and strengthening of social protection measures. After all, the standard of living of many people in Ukraine has significantly decreased due to the war. For the appropriate distribution of budget funds.

• We pray for the sanctification of the believers of Ukraine, for the purification of hearts and motives. For unity in the cause of the revival of Ukraine and helping people.

«Thus says the Lord: “Keep justice, and do righteousness, for soon my salvation will come, and my righteousness be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who holds it fast…and keeps his hand from doing any evil.”»
Isaiah 56:1-2 ESV

🌞 What we thank God for:

• The book by Ukrainian theologian Valentyn Synyy “Serving God under Siege: How War Changed the Ukrainian Community” was included in the list of winners of the prestigious Christianity Today Book Awards 2025, winning the award in the category covering mission, global church processes and ministry in times of crisis. This is the first time that a book by a Ukrainian author has been recognized at this level in a leading evangelical magazine in the United States. For the Ukrainian christian and academic community, this is an important signal: the voices of Ukrainian Christians living and serving in a state of war are becoming visible in the global evangelical space.
• The Netherlands allocates 35 million euros in funding for various support that will help the Ukrainian defense forces get through the winter.
• The Verkhovna Rada has created a Temporary Investigative Commission to investigate possible violations in the financing of treatment, rehabilitation and prosthetics for military personnel and veterans.
• Germany allocates 100 million euros for the restoration of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Australia and New Zealand are also allocating more than $70 million in aid to Ukraine.
• The President of France, during a meeting with the leader of China in Beijing, proposed introducing a moratorium on Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure during the winter period.
• Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 3 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, and 125 units of automotive equipment.

‼️ Threats remain:

• The Russians struck Odessa and Dnipropetrovsk region.
• Russia does not stop hitting energy facilities. More than 60 thousand consumers in the Donetsk region, more than 51 thousand in the Odessa region and 1.6 thousand in the Dnipropetrovsk region have been cut off.
• In the coming months, Russia will spend a lot of resources on cognitive operations against Ukraine. The goal is to convince Ukrainian society of the inevitability of defeat and the need to capitulate.
• Russian occupiers are illegally transferring Ukrainian children from the occupied territories to the so-called “re-education camps” not only in Russia and Belarus, but also in North Korea.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray for God’s mercy and favor for our land, for our people, for a deep awareness of our dependence on God. We rely on God, on His protection in this confrontation.

• Our representatives went to the USA for negotiations with the American delegation to discuss a peace plan. We pray for God’s wisdom in resolving these crucial issues for our country, for a balanced approach in making certain decisions.

• We pray for the defenders, for their proper provision in the cold season, so that they have warm clothes and heating devices, so that they are provided with the necessary food. God’s protection over them.

• We pray for drawing the attention of the international community to the problem of the deportation of Ukrainian children and their further “re-education” and the eradication of Ukrainian identity. So that these children have the opportunity to return home and reunite with their families.

• We pray for the counteraction to Russian disinformation aimed at breaking Ukraine’s defense capabilities. For the coordination of actions in this together with international partners. For a reduction of propaganda in the information field.

• We pray that the Church in Ukraine will pray fervently in this difficult time, not to give up. As it is said in the Holy Scriptures:
“Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:3 )

«Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”»
Isaiah 35:3-4 NIV

💛💙 What we thank God for:

• The Council of Ukrainian Christian Churches of Washington State appealed to the US President to increase international pressure on Russia and achieve its unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine. Church leaders emphasized: a just peace is possible only if Moscow is forced to stop aggression and take responsibility for the crimes committed.
• Our military stopped the enemy in a strategically important direction – in Hulyaipole in Zaporizhia.
• The Verkhovna Rada voted for the Budget-2026. It is expected that teachers’ salaries will increase by 30% from January 1 and by another 20% from September 1.
• Germany, Poland and Norway will jointly provide a new support package for Ukraine for a total of $ 500 million, of which $ 200 million will be provided by Germany. And Britain allocates an additional 10 million for the restoration of the Ukrainian energy sector.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 6 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, and 47 units of automotive equipment.

🔥 Threats remain:

• The occupiers struck Kharkiv. They attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones.
• Russian troops are approximately 30 kilometers from Zaporizhia.
• Russia is using updated models of “Shaheds”, which pose a serious threat and the number of which will increase.
• As a result of Russian attacks on energy facilities, more than 17.5 thousand consumers in the Kharkiv region, about 5 thousand in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, as well as consumers in the Kherson region, have additionally lost power.
• The educational process in the occupied territories of Donbas is turning into a tool for preparing young people to participate in military operations. These measures are systemic in nature.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray and bless our country. May it rise from the ashes, may it be strengthened by the power of the Lord. May what wicked people have conceived for evil not come to pass, but be stopped by power from above.

• We pray for the leaders of the country, regional leaders, that they act exclusively within the legal circle. That they be a consolidating force that unites society.

• We pray that the crimes of Russian criminals against peaceful people do not pass by the attention of the world community. After all, Russia constantly claims that it attacks only military facilities. For the provision of real facts of such crimes, for publicity and a reaction to the bloody murders of innocent people.

• We pray for the solution of educational problems, in particular, 40% of Ukrainian schools currently lack teachers. We pray for a solution to this personnel crisis, for the introduction of systemic incentives for this: for example, programs to provide teachers with housing; financial supplements for teachers in rural and remote communities; salary increases; the development of professional education and support for young teachers, etc. We pray that due attention is paid to this strategically important area at the state level.

• Another glaring problem is the demographic crisis. Experts are sounding the alarm because the birth rate in Ukraine has fallen to a historic low: the country is approaching a demographic abyss. We pray that the Lord will not allow the destruction of our nation, that He will help find a way out of this situation. We also pray for the return of our abducted children, of whom, according to official data, more than 19.5 thousand have been deported by Russia since the beginning of the full-scale war. Only 1,625 children have been returned.

• We pray that people in churches today will not be lukewarm, seeking how to spread the Good News, which is hope for the discouraged, the weary, the wounded. After all, the way out is only in Christ.

«I can do all this through him who gives me strength.»
Philippians 4:13 NIV

❄️ What we thank God for:

• A grateful heart always sees the mercy and generosity of God. It is always ready to help others even if the circumstances are tight, even if, it would seem, nothing changes in the visible world. Thank God for such hearts!
• Our intelligence officers destroyed the C-300 installation and two expensive radar stations of the Russian occupiers in Donbas.
• The Irish government has pledged to allocate 25 million euros to support the restoration and protection of Ukrainian energy infrastructure. And Sweden is providing Ukraine with over 100 million euros.
• Ukraine and Ireland have signed a Roadmap for Ukrainian-Irish partnership for the period until 2030.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 1 armored combat vehicle and 58 vehicles.

⚠️ Threats remain:

• Russia has struck the Dnipropetrovsk region, and in the Odessa region they hit an energy facility.
• The Russian army has occupied another village in the Donetsk region and has advanced into the Zaporizhia region.
• As a result of Russian attacks on energy facilities, consumers in the Odessa, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions are without electricity.
• Russia is using more than 18 thousand foreign citizens from 128 countries in the war against Ukraine.
• The Russian military leadership continues to make numerous statements about the alleged successes of its army and the capture of Ukrainian cities.
• Ukraine ranks fourth in the world in terms of the number of victims from mines.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We continue to pray for important meetings at the highest levels that are currently taking place. We trust God in their outcome, we know that the hearts of kings are in His hands. We pray for the establishment of God’s will on our land.

• The Kremlin announced new massive strikes on Ukraine, in particular, on rear cities and energy infrastructure. We pray for God’s protection, so that the occupiers will not be able to implement these plans, so that there will be no victims.

• We pray for the adoption of the 2026 budget, which remained uncoordinated due to internal disagreements among parliamentarians. Some of them advocate pushing for a general renewal of government, others are focused on demands for reforming law enforcement agencies or making changes to the budget. We pray that this issue will not be delayed, because it is extremely necessary for the country to have the financial plan for the next year.

• We pray for Ukrainian soldiers. May the Lord be the One on Whom they rely and place their hope on. Let them know Him, feel His love, and give Him their hearts.

• We pray for the demining of our territories, as Ukraine ranks fourth in the world in terms of the number of victims of mines. In addition, the pace of demining is decreasing due to lack of funding and the increasing level of danger for sappers. Let us pray for the allocation of funds specifically for these needs, for equipping, perhaps replacing sappers with robotics.

• We pray that the Church of Christ will be strengthened in the Spirit, that it will hear from Him how to pray and how to counteract the forces of evil. May the Lord raise up an army of the faithful who will boldly pray against the forces of darkness.

«Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.»

🇺🇦 What we thank God for:

• The twentieth anniversary Global Leadership Summit was held in Kyiv. It’s an international event that brings together church leaders, public figures, entrepreneurs, military and volunteers to develop value-based leadership. This year, more than 400 participants took part offline and more than 200 online. The summit once again showed that Christian leadership remains one of the most important resources for the restoration of Ukraine during the war.
• Our rescuers conducted a unique demining operation on the roof of a high-rise building in Vyshgorod. After the attack by a Russian UAV, cluster munitions, which posed a critical danger, as they could explode at any moment, were collected with the help of a robot. No one was injured.
• The Netherlands will allocate €250 million to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.
• Sweden called for increased support for Ukraine, including through a reparations loan from frozen Russian assets, and advocated expanding sanctions against Russia.
• Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 1 tank, 6 armored combat vehicles, and 71 units of automotive equipment.

💥 Threats remain:

• Russian invaders fired missiles at Dnipro, attacked Kherson and Chernihiv region. They shelled Kramatorsk.
• Russian troops attacked in eight directions. The invaders advanced in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kharkiv regions.
• After negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and the United States, the issue of security guarantees remained unresolved for us.
• After Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, there was a power outage in several regions, including Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
• The occupation authorities are planning total Russification, increased propaganda in the occupied territories, and control over the information space under the pretext of “protecting national unity.”

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray that the Lord will intercede for our people. We pray for an end to the bloodshed, for wounded hearts to open to God’s love, for His forgiveness, and adoption. We pray for an end to the flow of refugees from Ukraine, as well as for the return of Ukrainians to their homeland. May His will and His plans be fulfilled for our long-suffering country.

• We pray for additional impetus to Ukraine’s economic development. For support for the real sector of the economy – strategically important industries, as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

• We pray for the President of Ukraine and other people in power, because this is the Lord’s will. We pray that these people will have the fear of God in their hearts, that they will realize their purpose and responsibility before God at this time and do everything that depends on them.

• We pray for the military, that they will be warmed by God’s love, inspired by His strength and filled with His hope.

• We pray for the victims in Dnipro after today’s missile attack. These people are in great need of support. May the Lord touch every heart, wounded bodies and exhausted souls. May they receive everything that they need so much now.

• We pray for the youth in Ukraine, that opportunities for education and development will open up for them, that they will be interested in staying in their country and raising it from the ruins. That they will be people with God’s fire and truth in their hearts, who know God and strive to do good.

• We pray that the Church in Ukraine will not be silent in praising and worshiping our God. That the prayers of faith will not stop. May our focus always be on Jesus.

«Away from me, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my cry for mercy; the Lord accepts my prayer. All my enemies will be overwhelmed with shame and anguish; they will turn back and suddenly be put to shame.»

🛡 Prayer Shield of the Intercessors of Ukraine

❤️ What we thank God for:

• Prayer has no borders or barriers, so it flows at the Marathon of Fasting and Prayer. We thank everyone who is part of this important movement, who supports the breath of prayer. Last week, the churches of Europe supported us, next week the Kherson region will pray.
• Russian troops failed to break through to the city of Gulyaipole in the Zaporizhia region. Our defenders repelled the attacks on the outskirts of the settlement.
• The defense forces are testing new weapons to counter Russian guided aerial bombs. According to the military, in September-November, up to 100 enemy guided aerial bombs were destroyed by the anti-aircraft missile troops of the Air Force.
• Over the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 5 tanks, 14 armored combat vehicles, and 49 vehicles.

⚡️ Threats remain:

• The Russians struck Ukraine with ballistic missiles and drones, our air defenses failed to stop the missiles. The occupiers attacked the Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions.
• In 2026, almost 40% of the Russian budget will go to the army and weapons purchases. Meanwhile, funding for social and medical programs will be sharply reduced.
• Russian propaganda media are spreading false information that the front line in Ukraine “will soon collapse,” as well as about the mass surrender of Ukrainian fighters. Experts believe that Russia is seeking to force Ukraine to surrender and agree to demands that Moscow cannot achieve by military means.

🙏 Prayer needs:

• We pray for the search for internal resources to direct them to the defense of the country, the establishment of various processes within Ukraine to strengthen its defense capabilities. For the rise of strong leaders, statesmen who would truly support the country.

• We pray for God’s protection of our cities and villages, as well as the energy system from massive missile strikes. May these missiles not hit their target, may they be destroyed by air defense systems. We pray that the enemy will not succeed in implementing his criminal plans.

• We pray that the negotiation and preparatory processes for the return of our prisoners of war to their homes will not be stopped. We bless those who have returned and are undergoing recovery. May there be healing of soul and body.

• The war has destroyed many destinies, wounded and broken hearts. Let us pray for these people, that God’s love may free them from pain and tragic memories, that it may heal and fill them with meaning to live on.

• Let us support in our prayers people who are in the occupied territories or near the front line. May help come from above, may there be people nearby who can support them whether physically or psychologically. May the Lord help in these trials.

• We pray for closer cooperation between churches and representatives of the authorities, for the consolidation of efforts for the restoration of peace in our country. For the growth of the authority and influence of the Church in Ukraine.

«The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked advance against me to devour me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall.»

Lord, do not allow Trump to hand over Ukraine land and the people who live there to their enemy.

Do not allow Trump to enter into a business relationship with Putin which will enable him to build an even bigger army.

Lord, I know your heart breaks for the Ukraine people who are fighting a spiritual, psychological and physical war against Putin. Rise up an army of intercessors who are not deceived and will stand with the Ukraine people. As someone says above, this war is on the battlefield but also in the media as Russia welds propaganda through MAGA media sources and in the country itself. Sadly, this propaganda impacts those who need to know the truth in this country in order to pray in alignment with your will because many reads depend on MAGA news sources which are not reliable, so, while Europeans know that the claims of Ukraine developing bio weapons is not true and that most of Ukraine supports Zelensky, Christians who depend on MAGA news sources are deceived.

Break the spiritual and psychological oppression over Ukraine. Strengthen their military. Do not let Trump continue to be deceived about Putin. Cause his heart to be turned toward the suffering of the Ukraine people. Release the children held captive. Release the land and people who are being held captive by Putin.

That the children’s bread will not be stolen. Let bio Labs in Ukraine and Russia quickly cease to exist without releasing weapon’s, Biological or otherwise. I had prisoners of war war held by Russia be returned unscathed.

Ephesians 6: 10
Finally, my brethren, Be Strong in the Lord and the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against spirtual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all ,
taking the shield of faith, Wherefore you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of tge wicked. And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Praying, always with all prayers and supplication in the Spirit, and watching the reunion with all perseverance, and supplication for all saints; And for you, that utterance may be given unto you, that you may open your mouth, boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel of Christ Jesus. Amen!!; I pray for Jesus’s will to be done,NOW, Quickly in the UK. and Russia. Jesus already knows all the thought of the leaders in the UK and China, Jesus SEES everything.
May Jesus move quickly. Asking in Jesus’s name. We are praying, begging for Jesus’s love, mercy, grace, wisdom, directions, strength, actions to rest, do. deliver. save, all the people in Russia and UK. May Jesus’s will be DONE, NOW!! In Jesus’s name Amen

With all authority given to us in heaven and in Earth we declare a victory over this land. let your army fight this spiritual battle. it was already won! Jesus is already on the throne. Put your leaders in place in those areas Lord! Bring all of the jewish Ukrainian movement to the faith of Christ. They all heard the gospel already! Open the eyes to all those who are alongside Zelensky, his near and far family, and all remenent of your people Israel that resided in Ukrainian territories and survived Holocost. Bring them to your Kingdom Jesus. Lord bring the army to fight for ukrainian souls. Do what it takes. We want more people in your Kingdom. Ukrainians ans Russians. We pray that churches in those countries after the war will be the first ones to unite and russian church to understand the importance to ask for forgiveness and show a great example. And church of Ukraine will be responsible for forgiving the church of Russia and will lead the nation to full forgiveness and understanding of the goodness of the Lord to be a victim, especially for the beliefs and faith.
I pray Russian people will break free from communist views and will regain their beliefs!! Come and fight for them.
Let those seeds Ukrainian ancestors have sown in Siberia grow and next generation will water.
Give strenth to those imprisoned there now to also share God’s love. Like you once did, free Ukraine.
Lord I pray Ukrainians will understand Glory is not in weapons they can get from USA. But only from You. you have it all under your control. And no hair is falling without you knowing. We trust you Lord are saving people as we pray through this war as you work with what we give you. You are always faithful and we trust you with those people. we pray for justice. For creating everlasting peace that no wars can destroy. The one that only you can provide.

Send a revolution to Russia so their autocracy and dictatorship will be over for ever and they will have a free will to pick and choose finally. their leaders had been in wars every couple of years. Before Ukraine it was Geaorgia before Georgia something else. Just so people of Russia will be distracted from the problems of social and economic and judicial crimes of government. Government pretends that enemy is outside. It was Europe. Nato. US. Ukraine. But it is their own people making this things
open their eyes Jesus. so they will come to know you and if we are to take trips there to for sewing seeds raise up Lord a team in US to go to Russia and share the Gospel and strengthen your churches that are mostly prohibited there.
Your army is not sleeping. You will be faithful. I know today ks Ukraine tomorrow new victim. I would love to open Russia up I the center. Let them no more walk dead in their nationalism and thinking their country needs expansion as it is the only right thing to do to conquer others and stay strong in their own eyes. Lord let big pride of russia finally fall before your throne. Bring them to your Kingdom. Let them be your mighty warriors!!@

Father, I pray for Ukraine to be at peace. Turn Putin around and open his heart to you. May he accept the need for peace and stop trying to take over Ukraine. Give Ukraine’s leaders courage and wisdom.

Lord, do not allow an American president to do something so wicked as to turn over another country’s land and a helpless people to an evil oppressor! Be present in the negotiations! Do not allow this shameful behavior to be part of our history!

Where are you hearing that the American President is going to “turn over another country’s land and a helpless people to an evil oppressor”? As we speak, our American President is trying to convince our allies and those of Ukraine to join him in placing sanctions on Russia to encourage Putin to come to the negotiating table with a willingness to negotiate a long-lasting peaceful solution to this war. I pray God softens Putin’s heart that he gives up his greed and thirst for power.

In mid-August, Trump publicly backed ceding some Ukrainian-controlled territory to Russia as part of a potential peace deal. This is based on statements Trump himself made. You are talking about his most recent position.

Lord, intercede on behalf of Ukraine! Do not allow Trump to ‘give away’ their land and people!’ Bend his will to your will! May the boundaries which you established that separate Russia from Ukraine be maintained! Throw Russia into confusion! Force Russia to give up their claims of Ukraine territory! Release the children held captive! Release those held captive in their own land!

Our Heavenly Father. Please put an end to the War between
Ukraine and Russia. It has been going on for too long and has only
brought suffering, chaos and damage to great cities. If there is any
way you can bring Zelensky and Putin to the table to discuss Peace
talks, I lift it up to you. Please let them negotiate a treaty and stop
this horrible War.

Please bring a stop to the attacks that Russia has been doing to Ukraine.
Help Putin to see that it is going nowhere and solving nothing.
Lord please put an end to this senseless War.

In Jesus name,
Amen and Amen.

Having attended a very large rally here in Boston supporting Ukraine, I was really upset that everyone was shouting (in the Ukrainian language) glory to Ukraine . I realize that they honestly don’t know what they are saying – because all glory belongs to God and He is the only one who can stop this war. Psalm 46:9&10. Please pray that the Ukraine learns that only God can stop this war and ALL glory belongs to God!!

ABBA Father, We ask for this war to stop in Jesus’ name. We pray for the families that are separated in other countries to brought back to their loved one and the families to be reunited. You see there pain and tears with much sufferings. Please have mercy and set the captives free. Lord Jesus we pray for the many lying tongs promoting pro Kremlin propaganda to be bound. We pray for President Trump and his Team that their hearts will turn away from favoring Putin and Russia and turn to favor and work toward a righteous, just and lasting peace for Ukraine. We pray for the American people especially your church in America to support their Christian brothers and sisters in Ukraine and to support Ukrainian’s brave fight for freedom and independence. We pray for President Zalensky for wisdom and strength negotiating. We pray against the bloodthirsty spirit manipulating Putin and Russia to invade their neighbor. Bring an end to the killing, stealing and destroying. We pray for Russia to repent, that their plans and the gates of hell will not prevail. We pray for the safety of all civilians especially your church in Ukraine and the brave soldiers fighting on the front lines. Bring a sift end to this tragic unjust war in Jesus name.

Lord Jesus, please have mercy on the people of Ukraine. Provide safe homes for them. Provide good foods for them. Provide safe jobs for them. Provide houses of worship where they can praise You and thank You for all You have done. Please remove that spoiled brat, Zelenskyy, who has lined the pockets of our worst enemies. Take him down please, Father God, for all the corruption and all the blood of innocents that is on his hands. Please set up quickly, a righteous ruler in Ukraine who will do Your will and be a good leader of the people who live in that country. Your Word promises these good things for the oppressed peoples. Pvbs 28:15 and Jer 23:1-4 I claim these promises of Yours for the Ukrainian people but I declare and decree destruction for the evil and greedy Zelenskyy, in Jesus’s Name, Amen!

Lord, silence the lies that are being propagated through social media. Silence the lies about Zelensky because it does not honor you for Christians to be the source of lies. Zelensky is not a perfect person but is trying the best he can to represent his people.

When Zelensky represents his people, he dresses simply. When he visits the United States and Europe, he is followed by hordes of reporters. There is no evidence of ‘shopping trips.’ When in Ukraine, he is in hiding and moving constantly in order to avoid groups sent by Russia to assassinate him. For this reason, he cannot live with his family. He cannot have a ‘home’ as it would be immediately targeted. He makes repeated trips to the front, placing himself in danger (photographs, videos and eyewitnesses). Polls taken by professional organizations and remarks make to the press which is actually in Ukraine (not reporting from Maine) indicate that Ukrainians support him (European and American press). He won his election in 2019 with 73% of the vote (this is well documented and reported in the press at the time that it occurred which was before the Russian invasion).

Two far down in the comments to make a difference but Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS): A March 2025 poll found that 67% of Ukrainians trusted Zelensky, up from 57% in February. ‘This increase followed a public dispute with U.S. President Donald Trump, which researchers believe unified Ukrainian society against external criticism. A later poll in March showed trust rising further to 69%, with only 28% expressing distrust.’

“Ipsos Survey for The Economist: Conducted in March 2025, this poll revealed over 70% of Ukrainians approve of Zelensky’s performance, with 80% affirming his legitimacy as president.’

A quote from someone in the Kherson region: “Surrendering Kherson to secure peace in Ukraine is inconceivable, Mr. Lapin says: “This is our land, we were born there, and we live there, and we will stand there to the end.” Mr. Sivak adds that Russian “occupation itself is a prison and a concentration camp.” If Ukraine is forced to surrender these four territories, “what will happen there” is “not to be described in words.”’ wsj

Lord, I pray for the moral decline in the leadership of this country and in some parts of the church that would cause them to form a convent with an evil dictator! Break their self-defection! If they will not repeat, remove them from places of influence and power!

I like this quote by Nikki Haley: ” America has always been a pilar of freedom and democracy. We have to have the moral clarity to know the difference between good and evil. We can’t blur the lines. We must choose a side, and it should never be the side of dictators.”

Lord, deliver the Ukrainian people from the corrupt leadership that has taken over their country with help from the likes of Victoria Nuland. Bring justice and judgement to ALL the bad actors responsible for starting this war for there are many! Remove the puppet Zelensky and the oligarchs that pull his strings. Please continue to soften the hearts of the Russian leadership toward negotiations and peace. Most of all, have mercy on the Ukrainian people so that they may worship their God!

Let us pray that Zelensky will negotiate terms for peace. This might have already happened if it had not been for interference from the United States and Great Britain. Many needless deaths. Pray for the Lord’s mercy on those who have encouraged this war.
