IFA called on intercessors to pray through the debate. Thousands of people downloaded the IFA prayer guide on the debates that focused on truth being revealed.
From the first moment President Biden approached the podium, the truth about his condition was obvious. His answers were often halting, garbled, difficult to understand. Now legacy media has to face the President’s decline, and they did. Headlines across the spectrum Friday morning indicated concern about the President’s abilities and raised questions about how to get another candidate in place.
President Trump, on the other hand, exuded a calm confidence. He seemed focused, clear, and sure of what he was saying.
Both presidents described policies and viewpoints that were sharply divergent.
We prayed that truth would be revealed and it was. But what else did the Lord show you as you prayed? Please share your insights in the comments section.
Americans instinctively sense that almost anything could happen as we move beyond the presidential debate stage last night. In the swirl of questions about where our nation is headed, we can trust that God knows the end from the beginning (Isa. 46:10).

What seems to be the best decision to support truth is- with people running for office- which policies line up the most with God’s Word? Which candidate supports the areas that are closest to God’s Word. In my Bible that I read, the Lord usually chooses to use those who might not be the first pick at first glance, but actions show truth. Even out of the 2 sons that a father told to go do something- one had a good attitude and said that he would do the task- but never did it. The other said No- he had a bad attitude, but he did go and do the task. The one who had the bad attitude, but actually did the task went home approved. If we are to be looking at God’s heart and not at man’s face- then we add up 2+2… who supports what matters to God more closely? That’s who we vote for. No one will ever be perfect and I certainly don’t want to pick apart people’s mannerisms and personalities… I just want to look at what they support. Who ever lines up closest to God’s Word in actions, deeds, and intent- thats the only one to vote for. Simple as that. Debate or no debate, that’s the only thing that matters. I will vote for Trump. Lord Jesus, let the one you choose be placed into power. Not our will Lord, but only Yours be done. Amen
Trump lied about the border. He did not answer questions asked many times. He disappoints me as well as Biden. Yes America needs to pray and as God to forgive us.

Angela, considering the time they were given to answer the questions before the mike was muted, Trump did exceptionally well. He was controlled and composed and used his time well compared to his opponent. I believe Trump is the better candidate to lead the country to peace and prosperity against the evil DNC agenda. Susan, yes Trump was more composed and controlled than he normally is, but I cannot agree with the words that he did “exceptionally well”. He could’ve used his time more wisely and constructively…
I will vote according to however God will have me to vote, but continue to pray for both candidates. God can turn the hearts of kings like the watercourse. Trump needs a bit of a course correction. He is leaning somewhat left on the abortion issue and that is grievous and of great importance to me and the Father. Also, he would truly be a great candidate if he would but humble himself. I can tolerate the brashness better than the arrogance.

I sense in the spirit that God is revealing to us the consequences of the Biden’ administration’s actions toward Israel. By withholding arms and playing games with America’s loyalty and support of Isael in this war with Hamas/Hezbollah, Iran and others, allowing violent demonstrations to take place on campuses without penalties, where Israel and the Jews are rhetorically cursed, and Biden saying one thing and doing another, Biden incurred the curse. He was not occasionally incoherent and bubbling similar to former speeches, his entire presentation (physically & mentally) was extremely abysmal. In most of the media, he is being portrayed as the laughingstock of the world.
Let us not similarly waiver from keeping our eyes, our heart and prayers on Israel during this time. Is this a Nebuchadnezzar moment for Biden where he continues to ‘lose his mind (dementia) for not acknowledging and doing the will of God?
Father God, we know you know the beginning from the end. We maintain and even pray for Israel at a higher level and keep our eyes on You. May we be obedient to You and You only and not allow our eyes to stray from the truths you are revealing to us in this season/this appointed time. Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and grace upon your remnant as You move Your hand over this nation through our prayers in Jesus Name we pray.
Correction: There were also 8 questions given in the debate between Trump and Biden that were considered neutral. Total questions 22.
I think the best comment of the debate was when President Trump said to Joe Biden, “You’re a Manchurian candidate.” Joe Biden is a puppet and who is pulling the strings? It’s not Joe Biden. Scary times in America.
The CNN moderators did show some bias. According to Mark Levin, there were 11 questions slanted toward woke Democratic interests and only 3 questions that would be of interest to Republicans. That’s why Trump sometimes didn’t answer his questions but went on to speak about something else that Republican conservatives needed to hear, or, for that matter, everyone planning to vote needed to hear. God bless the candidates and the coming election. May His complete will be done.
They were ready for this and it falls right into their plan. They were ready to ditch him and bring out their next puppet. Don’t be fooled by their schemes. Keep praying for the enemies schemes to be exposed and for God’s intervention.

The debate was like watching two bickering children. It was quite embarrassing to our nation. I must admit, after the first hour I could not stand it any longer. It was a defamation/vindication session from what I saw so if it got any better I did not see it.
Trump had the opportunity to answer key questions and he chose to defend himself against Biden’s allegations. Shaking my head!! I also was highly disappointed that he stood so strongly behind the Supreme Court’s decision on the abortion pill.
Poor, feeble Biden was waving at and greeting people that weren’t there… maybe it was the camera crew. Go figure?! What a mess we have on our hands! We need to pray, pray, pray like never before for this election.

It was Trump’s opportunity to respond to Biden’s lies and set the record straight. Like when he stated that the Border Patrol supported him. They have supported Trump for a long time. Biden lied about that and other things. The moderators repeated the questions Trump didn’t answer right away. So many people saw for the first time how bad Biden was getting. Those of us who don’t rely on the mainstream media for our news already knew, now everybody does.
CNN hasn’t played fair with Trump for years. I don’t think he was obligated to answer their questions right away.

I believe Trump was very patient with Biden and actually quite self-disciplined in his response to the foolishness of Biden and all his mumbling and incoherence. I thought Trump did an excellent job, but still asking Biden important questions that caused him to reveal his inability to talk, lead, and show that he is not fit to run for president again. It came out “naturally” without Trump having to mock him. I applaud Trump for a good job!
Elizabeth, you might want to look at some of the split screens when Biden was mumbling. Trump was concerned and surprised at the decline himself. It was noticeable. Remember they’ve been covering up for Biden’s illness. We need the truth. Please don’t be fooled.
I was saddened as I watched the debate. It was sad to see how the Democrat party has abused President Biden these last 4 years. It borders on elder abuse of a man who does not and has not had all his faculties even before he was elected four years ago.
I was also saddened at former President Trump’s lack of mercy toward President Biden. He even mocked him at one point. He could have stayed on message without that and remained respectful.

The Dems are already downplaying the debate. We need to stay vigilant and continue to pray. These people have so many tricks to pull, that you never know what they will do. It’s all backed by the enemy of our soul. I am greatful the Lord allowed prayers to be answered. We needto continue.
Praying for the debate through IFA was so eye opening. I could actually feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit through the internet! Go figure! Powerful and encouraging. It is my prayer that more of God’s people will get involved, thus more voices calling out to God in one accord – in Jesus’ name, amen.
Contrary to what some are projecting, Obama, Newsom, and even Trump stated after the debate that Biden will continue to be the nominee. He has been a useful puppet actor that convincingly plays a demented old man, who thus cannot be prosecuted for any allegations. Some suspect that the real Biden died years ago – and indeed past photos and videos do actually seem like a very different person. There is reportedly a tremendous plot in action that involves not only the USA, but the entire world – particularly nations with democratic governments that globalists want to conquer. Praying for all truth to soon be illuminated by the revealing light of Christ, which will also bring a glorious Church Revival and the greatest ever awakening of sleeping souls!
The future of the World has been prophesied with substantial detail in Daniel, Matthew, and the Revelation. Even St. Paul had a go at such prophesy. The end events were not good and the grand ending is to be unimaginably bad, the worst yet and so deadly that the duration of the last days will need shortening in order to avoid annihilation of the human race.
Why are we here then? I believe that the reason for America is threefold, her accommodations for Jews, her engagement in world evangelism by export (our missionaries and recently native evangelists) and now by import (of bad people, refugees) into our political territory for our personal witnesses and as objects of divine love.
I was sad that both candidates were so distespectful to each other, that they did not clearly answer the questions put to them, and both seemed more focused on the past than the present or the next term.

Why are we falling for the ploy of a two party election? We have independents running that could be considered but they are being censored. I am voting for Kennedy who has clear policies and concern for our health and environment. He is 70 years old. Biden is clearly too out of the running. Kamala will step up especially if a Biden stays on the ticket.
Trump has too much baggage and I think too old for office. He did a decent job in some aspects when he was president – but he is terribly hated and stirs up endless strive and contention – it seems on purpose! Kennedy is a peacemaker and has a record of resolving conflict with the wisdom of experience. How could any true Christian vote for Kennedy, who supports even late term abortions? May the Lord reveal to you His will for America, which does not include the stances held by this candidate, and even less so, his extreme left running mate.

Lord, give Donald Trump humility and a strong desire to read and live out your Word. May he keep his heart with all diligence ( Prov 4:23) so his words will be led of you because “out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh”. (Luke 6:45). Instead of continual verbal attacks, may his “speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that [he] may know how [he] ought to answer every man.” (Col. 4::5). Also, please help him answer the question he is asked.
I felt President Trump would have fared even better than he did if he would have answered the assigned question rather than often rebutting Biden statements, and talked more about what he will do, his plan to get us out of the mess we”re in, than what he has already done. Biden’s condition being revealed is because the globalist handlers have decided they’re through with him, and they want someone else who will be more useful. If the Lord gives us a president who could in any way turn things around, it would be solely because of his mercy toward America. If Christians humble ourselves and pray and turn from our wicked ways, then He can help. How does our Christianity compare to the Christian walk of our forebears? Are sinners turning to the Church for salvation? In my area I know of only a couple churches who hold prayers meetings, and few take part. God give us holy, praying preachers who can wake and shake us out of this deep slumber. In my spirit I could detect a spirit of compassion from President Trump concerning President Biden. There were times Trump cold have demolished Biden, but it appears he was giving respect to his failing health and his age and became somewhat softer in his responses…. Was I alone or did others also see this?
The Truth? Both candidates lied, avoided, blamed and exaggerated. The truth revealed was a lack of wisdom, power integrity and strength in the leadership options of our Beloved Country. i saw a change in Trump as he was criticized for his past sexual conduct. it appeared to me that along with embarrassment came a decrease in defensiveness and a leaning more toward seeing how this was morally not pleasing to God.

Donald Trump is not our Savior, but he is willing to be used to save what can be salvaged. He told Biden he didn’t want to be running for president but had to to fight the lies and deception. Actually I saw a word picture. The football team is lined up for a field goal. Only God can put it through the uprights, but the team has to be on the field. The intercessors are holding the line
Biden when accepting to face a debate with his opponent had been already a loser; because of the accepting and/or the debate itself. If Trump is a REAL convicted felon, a President must refuse a face-to-face meeting/chatting with a felon; let alone a debate or not debate. Period!

We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” It begins with us, the family, the local church, our neighborhoods and our cities. On his own, my Uncle shared with me that he could now “See” through the lies of a Senator here in Montana. After seeing the debate and hearing this particular Senator would be voting for Joe Biden, my Uncle declared that he would no longer be voting for that Senator. I agree with what Jim says below. I noticed that when asked about his policy on renewables (implying a question about his approach to energy), Donald Trump deflected to saying something about wanting clean water and air but also wanting to open up fossil fuel production. In other words, he never answered the question. Does he support the development of nuclear energy? If so, what are his plans?
I wish to repeat the statement in a comment below that other presidential candidates from the Republican party supported controlling the borders and dealing with the debt but also had defined polices on other matters. I know where Nikki Haley stood on Social Security and energy. Why does Donald Trump avoid answering direct questions?
My take away: Trump’s biggest concern is the open border policy we currently have in place. He kept going back to this issue. If we don’t secure our borders, all other issues become almost irrelevant. When a house is on fire, you concern yourself first with putting out the fire. After the fire is under control, you tackle the other problems. I have witnessed some of the serious effects of this open door policy, and it is very dangerous. Denver took in over 40,000 illegal immigrants. The crime in Colorado alone has skyrocketed. We very likely have terrorists now living amount us. We have been told that they’re active terrorist cells in every state. This is the very real current threat to America.

Even though they was answered prayer. We still need to be in prayer. Yes, it showed President Biden’s lack of ability to lead this nation. We must be in prayer. The democrats are not going to sit still and not try their hardest to best Trump. I think they already have a candidate picked to replace President Biden. They know he is weak. Be in constant prayer. Be focused in prayer. The enemy will try to distract us. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

Beyond the President being unfit for service—Joe Biden is very likely a victim of elder abuse. The things he has done in the past, including corrupt business with the Ukraine, have given anti-Christ rulers (people in positions of power) an opportunity to force President Biden to do their bidding for them. In essence, he has a gun to his head. We need to pray for him and other government leaders who also could fall or have fallen into similar situations; elder abuse not withstanding.
In answer to many prayers, I sensed a more humble demeanor in President Trump’s attitude; he was less combative than usual. Moderators did not allow speakers to interrupt each other. It seemed more fair than other debates. I did not like Trump’s or Biden’s personal attacks on one another. Trump skirted around a few questions, but also highlighted many of his achievements. As much as I hate Biden’s behaviors and policies, I felt sorry for him. He is in the serious throes of dementia and should be protected instead of being paraded around before the world. Those who are controlling him should be prosecuted for elder abuse.
Biden touching his ear over & over gave a good indication that he had a mic in his ear. His eyes were so sedated that he looked possessed at times. My goodness. I actually felt sorry for him b/c he was an embarrassment to us all. He is definitely not leadership material.
The debate did not ease my concerns about Donald Trump. He did not, for example, answer a direct question about his approach to handling the war in Ukraine (Vague promises are not policies.) and did not say what he would do about Social Security. (Does this mean that he has no policies and is making it up as he goes?) He misrepresented the thinking of the legal community about Roe vs Wade. Lawyers who want us to return to a literal interpretation of the constitution opposed Roe vs Wade on the grounds that the justice system was adding a ‘right’ to the constitution which is something only the legislative branch should do. Those lawyers, however, represent only a portion of the legal community, not everyone, as he claimed. All of this is a concern because it reveals that Donald Trump does not demonstrate the disciplined thinking needed of a world leader or a real grasp of the issues. Other candidates for the Republican ticket also supported controlling our borders, opposed abortion and were concerned about the debt but had defined policies in regard to Social Security, our military and Ukraine.
You’ll want to do more research Liz and also be aware that certain strategic elements should not be publicized for all the world to hear. Clearly, we were a safer country and the entire Eastern hemisphere was not at war like they are now when strength was in the White House and that was Donald Trump. You may not like the person…but you cannot deny the effectiveness of the polices that protected our country and projected the message to leaders around the world.
If you will remember, Donald Trump ‘s campaign promise before he took office in 2016 was that he would offer North Korea such a ‘good deal’ that they would agree to give up their nuclear weapons. As you know, this did not happen. What did happen is that all through 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2109 North Korea conducted on a MONTHLY basis either Taepodong-2, Musudan, KN-11 or Itusong-12 missiles tests and conducted nuclear tests on January 6 and Sept 9 in 2016 and again on Sept 3, 2017. North Korea was, in effect, giving us the finger.
Russia’s, jump in military spending began in 2015 and continued all through 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. It takes years to prepare for a military invasion and undoubtably COVID set them back some. It simply is an unknown as far as we are concerned as to whether Russia would have launched its attack sooner if COVID had not happened.

Yes, we are voting for a president, and that is important to keep in mind. We are not voting for a religious leader. Up to now this has meant that those running for president have always had a clearly defined platform where their approach to international and national policies is clearly explained. This is, unfortunately, not true of Donald Trump. You will notice that he avoided answering the question about Ukraine. He seems to only now be explaining his policy on abortion which is very different from what MAGA thought it would be. What does he plan to do about Gaza? What will he do about the crisis in the South China Sea? How about our military? It declined during his last administration (Saying nice things about veterans does not replace giving the military direction and support). Our ship building capability has dropped since World War II from being the world leader to our building just 1% of the ships today, while China has climbed to a position of building 51% of ships, both militarily and commercially. This is why their navy is now larger than ours. They have ports all over the world and can quickly repair damaged ships while the American navy relies on 3(?) ports which are understaffed and have long wait periods. This would be a serious disadvantage during a war. China also now controls the majority of ships which lay and repair undersea cables and so knows the location and has the equipment to reach the cables which enable our military to communicate from one part of the world to the other. Russia has satellites in space which can set off nuclear bombs which can destroy all satellites in orbit. Both Russia and China have hypersonic missiles which we cannot shoot down and are faster than our ballistic missiles. Donald Trump also needs to come out and say that he will take our national security seriously and can be counted on to not be careless with our military secrets. I could go on. Needless to say, Donald Trump has not shown the disciplined thinking of a world leader. He seems to make it up as he goes along.

In my lifetime there has never been a president who followed God’s law or who met all the policy requirements that most Christian’s adhere to. May I recommend that you stop praying because with all the hatred in your heart, the Spirit of God is not in you and cannot answer your prayers. Sally, you hit the nail on the head- “Lets remember we are not voting for a pastor but a president.” Democrats seem to feel the government should be the institution that helps, even “saves” its citizens. Yet, the church really has no one to blame for that belief but itself- WE are the ones who are supposed to lead others to their Savior Jesus, and instruct the citizens in God’s ways; to care for the the poor, the widows, orphans, and foreigners. Kind but misguided people see those deficiencies, and incorrectly try to legislate programs to take up the church’s slack.

I am an intercessor. I was praying for words of wisdom for President Trump. Every word counts. I thought the purpose of the debate was to educate the undecided. I thought both men did not represent the young voters. I personally was insulted when Trump started about his golf game. I saw two prideful men acting like jerks I wanted to hear about social security plans now. Calling each other liers didn’t persuade undecided. I think the middle might not vote. Bringing up Trump’s sex life was low point. My heart hurts for the Trump family.

I pray that just as Israel was the nation that was, was not , and was again, so will president Trump be the President that was, was not, and was again. As the 45th President, Trump is akin to Cyrus ( Is 45), and Bel appears to be bowing down and Nebo stooping now (Is. 46); Therefore I pray that Babylon will be humiliated (Isa 47) in Trump’s term as President 47. Lord help Pres. Trump to learn that life begins in the mind of you, God (Ps 139), no exceptions, and that abortion is fully wrong. Please Lord let there be an amendment to our constitution that declares anyone conceived in the U.S. to be a person who is equally protected under the law.
About two years ago I felt in my spirit that America is in a Nineveh moment as in ancient Assyria. God has given us the choice of His way or our way, and that choice will lead to its inevitable consequence of blessing or cursing. Jesus is purifying His bride in preparation for His return, and that purification process is painful but necessary. When some “churches” in America have strayed so far away from the Word in their beliefs, Holy Spirit must bring chastening in order to bring about that purification. How can His people influence our nation when we are impure and defiled and are willing to compromise our stand in order to live our comfortable lives? I am so thankful for the prayer briefings and news updates from a Biblical perspective that IFA provides. May God bless you and continue to direct you. May God bring conviction to His body that we will repent of our personal, corporate, and national sins and genuinely seek His face. As I laid hands on the TV as both candidates were speaking, I could see in the spirit alot of other Christian’s hands being pointed towards the TV and praying also! Maybe this is what it took for us to unite and hold up our nation in prayer! We need to rise up in prayer together and be more consistent because we are in serious times

The plan has already been in place to remove Joe Biden. The stops were all pulled out with this debate. What had long been denied in the news media about him having dementia was finally revealed, and it was done purposely, so that there is now an excuse to replace him. We will certainly know who that replacement is when the Democrat National Convention takes place in August. In the meantime, we must not assume that President Trump will be the victor in November. The Democrats still want to retain power at any cost, and they will stop at nothing to do so. Pray and be vigilant!
We felt they purposely let him fail at the debate so they could replace him and we are strongly wondering if it could be Michelle Obama or Hillary. Michelle SAYS she doesn’t want it BUT when di they ever do what they say AND Hillary has been quoted several times in interviews:”I don’t want to run for president; I just want to be president.” I feel strongly they hung Joe out to dry to replace him at the convention in Aug.

The other thing is it seems that God has given Joe Biden up to a reprobate mind. Others WILL follow IF they continue to refuse to repent. But the bottom line is GOD’S WILL SHALL PREVAIL!!! We have failed 2 Chronicles 7:14 as our God gives us for repentance. Our country is morally bankrupt. We need leaders who fear God. We have fallen short in this area. Pray like never before for our nation. The church of America needs to get on their knees and pray. We need to seek God’s face like never before and rid of sin in our lives. Let us humble ourselves before our God. Pray for our leaders and may God remove the wicked.

I didn’t see it at first, but as the post debate discussions were held and I saw and heard the words of all the media who have been complicit in lying to the American public, my eyes were opened. It reminded me of the times God brought confusion into the enemy camp and they turned on each other!

I have a picture in my billfold of a viable aborted baby, i saw a young lady that had her breast removed. I see a government that has turned it’s back on Israel.
America is seeing the beginning of God’s judgment on America. I truly believe we won’t see Trump in office. Very hard times are just ahead.

We not only have to pray for a strong, God fearing and God honoring president to be elected, but also that no deception and crooked ballot voting will take place to alter the true desires of the American people when they vote in the November election. We bind the efforts of the enemy (Satan) to manipulate the outcome of the November election. Father God, we give you praise and glory and cred for you intervention in this election and trust You for Your will to be accomplished. Amen.
With all due respect, you must do more than praying – you (everyone who wants the return of law and order) must WORK for it during the election process.

Dearest Heavenly Father: I pray that someone from this organization or other Christian organizations will reach out to Mr. Trump and ask for a sit down with him. That someone would truly try to help him really find you so that he could be the effective president we need and so others would have to see him as you do Lord. He did a lot of good things even without proclaiming to be “saved” by you. I can only try to imagine the wonderful things you could work through him for our good, if he were truly saved and not getting in his own way because of pride or what “man” or the world says he should do. Please let some of the strong evangelists work with him on how to respond and how to get closer to you so that others will see the changes YOU make in us. I know you have a plan for each of us and that they will come to pass. Please continue to show everyone what a train wreck Biden is not only visually and audibly but how impaired his judgment is. Convict more and more democrats who say they are your followers to vote with your statues and laws in mind. Father, we need very strong and courageous leadership during these coming end days, please help us get the person you deem able for the challenge in place. I love you, I TRUST you, and I stand on your promises that your Will will be done and that you know what we have need of even before we ask.
