On Tuesday night, President Trump addressed the nation in the first official State of the Union address of his second term. He shared the wins of his administration, his plans for the future, and plenty of answered prayers.

At IFA, we’ve been praying regularly for the President and his administration, as well as the nation as a whole, for years. We’ve been praying for law and order, for wise leaders, and for our nation to return to Christ. And, in his address, President Trump touched on all of these points.
Throughout his address, President Trump announced a new retirement program proposal, unveiled an energy deal with data centers and big tech, presented medals to several American heroes, highlighted his economic agenda, announced a war on fraud, backed a bill banning congressional stock trading, and teased a future in which tariffs may replace income tax. Addressing guests, lawmakers, and elected officials, he proudly announced that the U.S. is “bigger, richer, and stronger than ever before.”
Of course, detractors did attempt to protest the President’s speech. Democratic lawmakers in attendance refused to applaud, and one lawmaker even shouted at the President at one point. Nevertheless, Tuesday night’s address was characterized by success, patriotism, and answered prayer.
Plus, answered prayer wasn’t just present during the speech. Administration officials reportedly joined together in prayer just before the President’s address. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard posted about this on X, explaining that the cabinet members “joined together in prayer, giving all thanks and praise to God, and praying for the clarity and strength to listen to Him, serve Him, and do His will.”

Our Heavenly Father. WOW!! What an amazing State of the Union Address that
President Donald J. Trump spoke at. I was captivated the entire time and would
stand up every time (which was a lot) when he said something great or told stories of
every day Americans. What’s amazing is that there were moments when the
Democrats actually stood up too. It seemed a lot more united than the last Address
he gave last year. I had my box of kleenex ready to use and went through a lot of tissues.
His beautiful stories that he told made every Americans feel happy, sad, thankful and in
total agreement to what he was saying. I’m glad the Democrats who didn’t show up and
boycotted the event weren’t present. Their loss, our gain.
President Trump is a showman and always knows how to read a crowd. I am so thankful
for our great President who does what he says and says what he means. His slogan of
Promises Made and Promises Kept are so true in his past year. He moves at the speed of
light and no one can keep up with him. He is anointed by God and has a Mission to do
every day of this term. He doesn’t sleep much but God gives him rest in HIM.
God is using President Trump to bring PEACE to this World and bring stability
and harmony to all the other Countries. God has chosen him for such a time as this.
So many Democrats wish to do him harm and discount everything he does with their
Trump Derangement Syndrome, but it just rolls off of his back. He is truly a righteous
man of God and I am so thankful he is Our President 45/47.
We need to always keep him and his cabinet in prayer. God Bless America and

Praise Jesus! I absolutely loved the President’s State of the Union address! It was bold and strategic. He asked the Left to show their support of the duty of the American government is to protect Americans, and they didn’t stand. Their defiance was absolute exposure for the world to see. These are the Sauls but who is to say they won’t become Pauls? While some may be goats and won’t change, our duty as the remnant is to pray that they not only face the consequences of their actions, but that they have an encounter with Jesus! The Left and RINOs won’t be saved or delivered without prayer. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much! Everyone has a destiny in Jesus.
The President was as bold as courtesy would allow when he gave the democrats the opportunity to stand for the American people. Anyone who loves this country could then see for themselves what the Dems stand for! I have one criticism..the prices except for gas are very high.

Good speech overall; however prices for groceries are not down. Gas prices in lots of Florida are still at $2.99 gal.
Permits and licenses on businesses in Florida have gone up not down.
Number of Inspections increased for nothing both revenue
Do you not remember egg prices under Biden? Other items don’t seem to have come down much but eggs. Yes. At one point they were $10 a dozen.
I’d say $2.99 a gallon is an improvement! And this past year had been incredible! There are amazing changes.
In Ohio gas prices are lower and some groceries have gone down too. I’m very pleased with all the Trump administration has accomplished in 12 short months.

My wife and I prayed for President Trump before the address, asking God to give him great wisdom. We believe He answered prayer mightily. It was, in our minds, the greatest sotu ever. And when he called on all to stand who believe the government’s first job is to protect American citizens before those of illegal aliens, it was more than classic. It was a perfect act of showing who really hates America versus who really loves America. And it was so good that he looked grieved and almost brokenhearted as he waited and watched and shook his head. How can anyone vote Democrat after this?

My thoughts regarding the State of the Union address that President Trump gave was positive. I mostly appreciated when he said no more DEI . I really hated seeing the LGBTQ + community sneaking their lifestyles in DEI programs and I’m glad it stopped. I liked what he said about National Security about our borders. So Praying that president Trump will be mindful regarding what he says if its not positive or moving his agenda forward.
I was praying as I do for him, JD, and every cabinet member by name and families. We are so grateful for your steadfastness. May GOD strengthen you, give you sight of the seer, and wisdom as sons of Issachar. As a missionary who lives in Kenya and sees much going on with Somalians I am praying for ICE and exposure. I have seen first hand on flights- under Biden, illegal action and thing said to me by Somalian men, of a graphic sexual nation, I will never repeat to another human.

I pray for your future safety Hannah – Africa North of the Equator and particularly in the eastern countries, is particularly dangerous right now and sadly I see no end to it – their “governments” seem to relish in typical backwards “policies” if you could call them that, and add that to the “Arab Talking Shop” that has evolved from the “U.N.” and I often wonder what God has planned for what once had great prospects as a productive and flourishing Continent !

Yes, God is using Trump for His purpose. He also used Pharaoh for His purpose, and we know how that ended. God is showing us every day in so many ways that we are doomed unless we repent. We, as Christians, live in the spirit realm. Most of us are living in the natural. Wake up and smell the coffee. The TRUTH will be revealed. Praying that we will be ready. It’s coming sooner than we think. May God have mercy on us all!
Dear Lilia. I understand your frustration about the food gas and rent. I had to learn to follow the money. I wanted to find out why there were scarecity shortages at the supermarkets.
Look at what is going on in your state govt.
Follow bills, vote on issues your state govt brings up.
Get involved with the town counsel to see where the money is going. Is the money going to a slush fund which is like giving the state a blank check without any guardrails….(state or town govt), is it being used for redundant programs? What about taxes? Are the people who are charging rent being overtaxed and overregulated so that they have to raise the rent? Are there programs in your state that don’t have legislative oversight, such as who is keeping track of the cost of heating? Are there nonprofit organizations that don’t exist where the money is going into someone’s else’s pocket, perhaps the friend of a govt official?
I believe our tax dollars are ours, coming out of our pockets. Our state govt works for us. We the people!
I was a hi falutin liberal. I was deceived into poor mouth thinking by the enemy. I was deceived on so many levels. I was in bondage to the govt. I made the govt my source. I had no conscience.

God, our Abba Father-Yeshua-Holy Spirit, our Triune God never fails to meet us in love and compassion when we come to Him. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The real news is always found in the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the Truth. God loves you as much as anyone else. God created each of us. We are His children. Many people complain about a lot of things. Sadly, the very same people are not involved in anything political or as it relates to our gov’t. They find it too daunting, confusing and generally…don’t know where to start. Sadly, some don’t get involved because they are so used to complaining and doing nothing that they give up – they find it easier to complain. The good news is that today, its easier than ever to get involved. Pick something to start with and utilize internet (carefully) or other local organizations to help you get started. A person does not need to have vast knowledge or experience in order to get involved in gov’t issues. They just have to care. Start with 1 or 2 things and trust me when I say this — your voice is important and makes a difference. Remember the 1% principle, starting small and it grows as time goes on. Some call it the “ripple effect”, like a stone that is thrown into water and creates the small ripple or wave. While we don’t see the end result, eventually that small stone creates enough residual energy that it eventually reaches the other shoreline. That’s how our 1% involvement creates a difference. Than imagine 10, 20, 100 or a thousand people that realize that and start acting upon it with you. You & I will rarely see the end result but its having an effect.
I knew the Lord had asked me to watch it and pray for the president the whole time. My husband and I did that.. and we were so grateful for the answered prayers. He held his grace and stayed with a noble posture and a posture of professionalism. He held his tongue many times by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit. He also was humble several times, stating that he didn’t name things with his own name other people did that…. wow that was so humble. Praise God praise God for even a little bit of healing by the end of the night. My husband felt that President Trump put forth a spirit of honor and restored honor to the country again and I believe compassion- Godly compassion, right compassion. I truly believe this helped to spur a spirit of unity that happened towards the end of the night with more and more Democrats beginning to stand. Because beauty, honor, righteousness and goodness were put forth.! Praise God from whom our blessings flow! Keep praying
I found it very heart-warming to feel that Honour and Justice have returned to The White House – they had been noted for their absence for too many years. The problem facing “Democrats” is their own party “Fear Machine” which is extensively used to keep the plebs in line !! Fist shaking and Tantrums however, only work for so long – eventually God exposes them for what they are 🙂
I am praying the “fervent, effectual pray of a righteous man” every day over the President, Vice-President, and every Cabinet member and other administration officials BY NAME. I use the news headlines throughout the day to pray for each issue that arises, and I am trusting God to bring us through this time of unveiling the secret and hidden agenda of the wicked ones. I believe his speach was an answer to the prayers of many governmental intercessors. Praise God!! I also believe his closing words will long be remembered for generations to come: ““And when God needs a nation to work his miracles, he knows exactly who to ask. There is no challenge Americans cannot overcome, no frontier too vast for us to conquer, no dream too bold for us to chase, no horizon too distant for us to claim. For our destiny is written by the hand of Providence. And these first 250 years were just the beginning.”
It was wonderful to see all that has been done in the name of the Lord. I pray the President will have a personal encounter with the God of Israel and will give Him the glory for every accomplishment.
Overall, I thought it was very uplifting. I especially liked the personal, warm touches with all the acknowledgements. Of course, he got long-winded – that’s his trademark! – but there definitely weren’t any word salads or ambiguous blatherings!

Thank You for the revivals You are sending, especially on our young people. May this new generation rise up in renewed vision of a nation that follows the righteousness of Your perfect Word and will. Refine Your bride that we may be pure and holy so that we may attract others to You, the Perfect Bridegroom. Give Your wisdom to Your people in all three branches of our government so that they may lead according to Your way and not their own. Thank You for Your protection and provision. I thought the address was very encouraging and hopeful. I pray for President Trump and the leaders in government to be led by the Holy Spirit. I pray that we will become One Nation Under God once again and do what is right.

I thought that he did a very good job overall. As usual, the whole scene was quite a statement of how polarized the political environment has become in the United States. While it is an answer to prayer that we have a strong leader committed to making our nation strong again, the lack of national unity is SO obvious. Lord Jesus, by your grace, please restore national unity in America. Thank you Jesus.

I praise God to hear of all of the great things the Lord has helped President Trump accomplish . I praise God for the honor that he gives our Service men and the honor to our Sports teams that achieve honors for our Country. I thank the Lord for giving us these years as a reprieve from all of the evil we have experienced from past administrations and I’m so thankful for all of the good plans that President Trump has to continue to bless and make the quality of life here in America great. I am part of a prayer group online and in a ministry that regularly prays for President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. God is working behind the scenes and revealing the tip of the iceberg of the changes God is implementing. We will stand together taking our authority over the works of the enemy and pray in the plans of God restoring America to its Biblical Roots and destiny God has planned for this nation sending the Word of God throughout the world. We pray as grateful warriors who hear the call to stand in the gap for President Trump, his family, and his administrative team who all revere the Lord and are called to restore the United States of America back to its Judeo-Christian roots for Your Glory.

Finally, a President who did the job of that one would expect of a National Leader. Telling his contrymen what has and is happening and an entry as to why, where, and when. Exactly what a State of The Union should do.
I do wish in several discussion points he would have said “We have accomplished” instead of “I”. It is clearly understood that any and all of what was laid out would not have been realized without him being our Leader and President.
I think when he’s saying I, he is still trying to remove the contempt the left have for him. Better wording… under my leadership. But, it was a long speech. “I” cuts out a lot of verbosity:)
