On Tuesday, President Trump vowed to remove all “woke” content from the nation’s museums. He focused specifically on the Smithsonian, which he called “OUT OF CONTROL.”
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
From the Daily Wire:
“The Museums throughout Washington, but all over the country are, essentially, the last remaining segment of ‘WOKE,’” Trump declared in a Truth Social post.
“The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL, where everything discussed is how horrible our country is, how bad slavery was, and how unaccomplished the downtrodden have been — nothing about success, nothing about brightness, nothing about the future,” he criticized.
Trump said he’s instructed his attorneys to rid “wokeness” from our museums through the “exact same process that has been done with colleges and universities.”
The Daily Wire highlighted just how bad wokeness has become in museums. According to the site, the Smithsonian promotes “overt ideological content” such as gender ideology, LGBT propaganda, and “aggressive reframing” of divisive events like the COVID pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement.
This follows the Trump administration’s recent crackdown on the Smithsonian. Last week, administration officials sent a letter to the institution announcing a “comprehensive internal review of selected Smithsonian museums and exhibitions.” This review, according to the officials, is intended to ensure the institute is in line with President Trump’s executive order “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History,” signed in late March.
As intercessors, we know that our nation may not be perfect, but it is certainly worth celebrating. As we prepare for our nation’s 250th anniversary, let’s pray that our museums honor and recognize the greatness of the United States of America!

Let the truth vindicate America and share that slavery was going on worldwide and not just here in America. Let Youth know that Black slave owners were some of the worst ones and that this wasn’t just a White-Oppressor problem yada yada! We can’t let demoralization of our country take place because that’s the first step towards Globalism, and that’s WHY they have been pushing this indoctrination at our captured institutions!

We should never fear truth – whether it paints us in a good light or a negative light – because fallen man is a curious mix of the two. That is also true of nations – even the nation that YHVH calls His chosen people, as Vicki points out. Let’s give a balanced perspective including both. Let’s just learn to give YHVH the glory for any good thing, and take responsibility for and repent personally and/or substitutionally for what is/was sinful, either in deed or in motive. This is also a part of teaching the generations to come, if we want them to make wise and Godly choices, in thought, in self-control, and in actions.
Thank You Lord for all the efforts to purge Washington, our Nation’s Capitol from wrong representations of our Great Country. God Bless America with truth and God’s prevailing cleansing. Amen!

Though I understand the perspective of our president regarding the woke-ism within our national museums, I disagree that it should all be removed. Much like when the left tried to tear down statues of the civil war from the southern perspective in order to erase history, the same could be said about woke-ism. But, we do need to spin the narrative to show how it could have completely destroyed our culture…our country. Leave it in to a degree, but tell the truth as to the damage that it has caused. That way future generations will be aware of what can happen since history does repeat. There should be an American Cultural Museum that tells the truth for future generations…and show both points of view. In seeing both sides, they will see the potential cause of our demise.
Holy Father, please guide us on how to show future generations our flaws of the day in order to contrast the good of this country. You showed us all of Israel’s flaws and punishments throughout the Old Testament. Please guide us in doing the same with our own country so that our children’s children will remember and will know to flee from the enemy’s plots. Show them how You helped and are helping us to overcome this destruction of our country from the inside out. We need to remember so that this history…this particular time is remembered and not repeated in the distant future. In Jesus’ Name….amen.
GREAT point, Vicki! Thank you for your wisdom. I agree, if we just erase it, it will just return. If we rebuke it and show the nasty fruit of woke’s existence in our society, the exhibits will stand as a warning to future generations. This is why I am very supportive of all the Holocaust museums. They stand as reminder of how quickly evil can rise to power and the destruction it brings. And, of course, so many other revelations to be found…..so much wisdom to be gleaned.

I always appreciate different perspectivesi on the way of life in a given country. A “snapshot” of what life looked like during a certain era. When I enter a place where the that perspective is skewed, I resist going back. One exhibit with a “life in the 2020’s” theme, with a complete perspective would be welcome, as it takes more than one point of view.
Lord, Jesus, restore our perspective, restore our looking at both wings on the eagle, which are required to fly. Help us to know that the body of the eagle, the heart of the eagle, are what keeps the wings riding the currents,diving for sustenance, keeping an eye toward predators. Help us, Lord, to conitnue to love all the other birds in the flock and to rely on YOUR breath for our wind.

As devastating slavery and all atrocities that took place in our nation before liberation, make the truth of that come forth, also let what brought about transformation be written about. Let righteousness and healing of the land be in full display! How Our Lord was sought and He brought healing, He intervened!
God bless our country, our President Trump. our administration, our Congress, our Senate, and all the Senators along with all those who pray and model behavior that honors America. Protect us from the ones who would destroy and tear down what we have spent for so long to maintain and honor. Protect the youth of our land so that they will not hear and receive the noxious foolishness of WOKE and DEI. Provide the parents, teachers, mentors, and friends of the children when they are away from the protective influences of those who believe in You, Lord. Guide those who determine the requirements for cognitive safety in the schoolroom and on the playgrounds of America. Help us to raise up a new generation that holds up the truth of gender delivery in the womb and thereafter. Give parents the backbone of courage and participation in requiring the respect of all that God has given their children as they protect the rights of children to insist that their children receive teaching that honors God and the child.
