President Donald Trump said his administration will take “historic action” to prevent another devastation like the Texas flash flooding, which has claimed more than 120 lives, including dozens of children.

Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.

Scores of other victims remain missing and unaccounted for, local officials say.

“We’re going to look and see how something can happen like this,” Trump said at roundtable Friday. “They could say it’s 100-year, somebody said it’s a 500-year event. We’re not going to let a thing like this happen again where it can wreak this kind of devastation.”

Trump traveled to Kerr County, Texas, to survey the damage, meet with first responders and local officials, and visit with families who lost children.

Trump honored the young girls who lost their lives at Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ camp on the Guadalupe River.

“As we grieve this unthinkable tragedy, we take comfort, and God has welcomed those little, beautiful girls into his comforting arms in heaven,” the president said. “We believe that. Have to believe that, and we do. And we lost some wonderful people beyond the little girls, who lost some very brave men and women that tried to save the girls as our nation, we mourn for every single life that was swept away in the flood, and we pray for the families that are left behind.”

Trump praised a Coast Guard rescue crew that saved 169 children at Camp Mystic.

“The camp staff was also incredibly courageous,” he said.

First lady Melania Trump also extended her condolences to the families who lost children.

“We just met with the wonderful families. We pray with them. We hug, we hold hands,” she said. “They share the stories. And I met beautiful young ladies. They gave me this special bracelet from the camp in honor of all of the little girls that they lost their lives.”

“So, we are here to honor them and also to give the support help, and I will be back,” she promised. “I promise to them, and I just pray for them and giving them my strength and love.”

How meaningful for our POTUS to reference those little girls being in the comforting arms of God! Let’s be praying for RFK,jr’s efforts to stop the cloud seeding projects in our nation. There are dark operations that cause these flooding events to occur in targeted, (typically conservative) regions. Marjorie Taylor Greene has introduced a bill making this a federal crime. May the Lord compel our representatives to pass it ASAP!

Our Heavenly Father. Words cannot describe the horror and devastation
that happened in Kerrville, TX. The flash flood started on July 4th and caught
everyone by surprise as it happened in the middle of the night. Too many souls
have been lost and many more are still missing.

I thank you for the brave men and women who immediately tried to rescue
the stranded men, women and children as first responders. Many people from
all around the United States came to help find missing people, clear debris and
bushes and fallen trees. People have also come from Churches and many different
organizations have come to help out. This is a true act of being Jesus Christ’s
hands and feet in a helpless situation.

My heart and prayers go out to all the people who have lost loved ones in this
horrible tragedy. I am also thankful for President Trump and the First Lady
Melania Trump offering hugs, prayers and words of kindness to all the hurting
people. Thank you for all the volunteers who have worked countless hours
and continue to do so. Thank you also for the people who are passing out water
and giving workers food to eat in the midst of their work. Bless all the people who
saved lives and rescued them, even if it meant that they lost their life doing so.

We as a Nation need to come together as One and Pray for all of those who have
been affected by this tragedy.

In Jesus Precious Name. Amen and Amen

Correction: Afton Burkard’s image is not a painting. On her Facebook page, a comment explains that it is a digital work generated by AI. Regardless, it is still powerful and healing.
Afton writes, “i know bad things happen in the world all the time – but this one hit me hard. it felt wrong to just jump into sales and updates without pausing to say: i see it. i feel it. i know all of you do too.
i don’t have the right words. but i didn’t want to say nothing at all.
i’ll pick things back up soon. but for today, i just want to hold texas in our hearts. if you’re here and you’re feeling it too, you’re not alone. ❤️‍🩹” Thank you, Afton! God bless what you have done for all of us.
