I Prayed have prayed
Holy One of Israel, we thank You for this historic meeting and continue to ask that the fear of the Lord ā€“ the beginning of wisdom ā€“ be over every decision our government makes regarding Israel and the Middle East. In Yeshuaā€™s name we pray. Amen
Reading Time: 7 minutes

The Lord reigns, let the nations tremble; He sits enthroned between the cherubim, let the earth shake. Great is the Lord in Zion; He is exalted over all the nations. Let them praise Your great and awesome name ā€“ He is holy (Ps. 99:1-3 NIVUK).

On Tuesday, February 4, President Donald Trump welcomed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel in the first state visit by a foreign leader since the inauguration. In both an informal and formal press conference, the two leaders made comments triggering both profound concerns and exaltation around the world. The surprise statement from Trump that the U.S. would ā€œtake over Gazaā€ drew rancor and rebuke from international leaders in Russia, China, and Germany. The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs released an announcement overnight that it would break relations with Israel unless it made plans for a Palestinian state, contrary to Trumpā€™s assurances.

Pray for your fellow intercessor.

Let us examine the key points and pray over each one:

1. U.S. to ā€˜take over the Gaza Stripā€™

In a stunning proposal, Trump says that the US will ā€œtake over the Gaza Strip, level the site, and rebuild itā€ after earlier saying that Palestinians living there will ā€œvoluntarily go elsewhere.ā€ ā€œI do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East and maybe the entire Middle East. This was not a decision made lightly. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site, and get rid of the destroyed buildings, level it out. We will create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the areaā€¦ do something different.ā€ Trump declared that he sees ā€˜world peopleā€™ living in Gaza. ā€œIt will become the Riviera of the Middle East.ā€™ā€

Holy One of Israel, from Gen. 10:19, Gaza was considered part of the land allocated to Abraham and His descendants. Josh. 15:20 & 47 lists it among Judahā€™s allotted inheritance. We are grateful for Trumpā€™s bold desire to make this destitute area beautiful again, a blessing to the entire Middle East. Please hem him in from crossing over any boundary by making this land a possession of the U.S.A. Use our nation to rebuild the ancient ruins and renew ruined cities (Is. 61:4). At this time, remove also the ā€˜scepter of the unrighteous from the land allotted to the righteous,ā€™ (Ps. 125:3) granting Israel sovereignty over this part of its possessions (Ob. 17). Watch over, with You eye upon it, these plans (Ps. 32:8).

2. Trump suggests the resettling of the Gazan people

In the press conference, President Trump suggested the resettling of the Gazan people in Jordan, Egypt, and perhaps other Middle Eastern nations. ā€œI’m talking about the displacement of all the Gazans. They won’t come back after they leave. It would be my hope that we could do something really nice, where they wouldn’t want to return. Why would they want to return? That place has been hell. It has been one of the meanestā€¦ toughest places on earth. They can instead occupy a beautiful area with homes and safety and live out their lives in peace and harmony in other countries. This can be paid for by neighboring countries of great wealth.ā€

From one man He made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us (Acts 17:26-27).

Father, You made every people group and nation, giving them boundaries and territories. Restore, we pray, the so-called Palestinian people to the lands of their ancestors. To any who desire to remain, may they find You, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and be saved. Change hearts and minds for Your great glory! Grant understanding to the nations surrounding Israel, from which these Palestinians became refugees, to reabsorb their citizens. Bring identity from Your word to replace jihad and a life impoverished by Islam and terror.

3. Trump denied that the U. S. will work with Israel to blow up Iran’s nuclear capabilities

ā€œ[These] reports are greatly exaggerated. I would much prefer a Verified Nuclear Peace Agreement, which will let Iran peacefully grow and prosper. We will start working on it immediately. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and if I think it does, it would be very bad for them.ā€

You, Father, are not a man that You should lie! We thank You, Lord of Hosts, that You have promised to break Elamā€™s bow (Jer. 49:34-39) ā€“ the might of Iran- the crescent of Islam and the bow of nuclear armament. You have promised to bring disaster upon them, removing their kings and leaders, and setting up Your throne in their midst. Strengthen the ever-growing church in Iran and grant them good shepherds. Grant Netanyahu and Trump wisdom from heaven (Jam. 3:17) as they together break Iranā€™s might.

4. Trump plans to announce a plan for Israelā€™s annexation of Judea and Samaria in next four weeks

No details have been released at this time.

Father, Your word promises restoration and fruitfulness to the mountains of Israel ā€“ Judea and Samaria. We are grateful that both Netanyahu and his Knesset, and our President, acknowledge that this land is a part of Israel, given to Your people eternally. Allow this time of transition from the Palestinian Authority to Israeli rule to be peaceful and guard all military personnel currently working to remove all terrorist entities from this region.

5. Trump addressed a two-state solution

ā€œWe canā€™t keep repeating the same failed approach over and over. It doesn’t mean anything about a two-state or one-state or any other state. It means that weā€¦ want to give people a chance at life.ā€ The President argued that his proposal would benefit the Middle East as a whole and not just Israel.

Abba, Your word describes a day when every nation on earth will be judged based on how they treated Your people, the Jewish people, and whether they tried to divide Your land (Joel 3:2-3). We cry out for Your grace for Trump and his advisors, that we would permanently discard all plans for a two-state solution. We cry out for humility for all involved and reverence for Your word. Let those in our government be those that tremble at Your word (Is.66:2).

6. Saudi Arabia demands two-state solution

Although Trump claimed that Saudi Arabia ā€œwill not demand a Palestinian state,ā€ Saudi officials vociferously denied this overnight in an official statement: ā€œWe will not maintain relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state. Our position on the Palestinians is non-negotiable.ā€

The Lord foils the plans of the nations; He thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm for ever, the purposes of His heart through all generations (Psalm 33:10-11).Ā O God of love, move in power over Saudi Arabia, its leaders and peoples. Reveal Yourself to them and forgive them for their desire to displace Your people. Bring revival to these nations surrounding Israel causing all to know Yeshua, the Savior of the world. Bring salvation to the nations through Your people whom You appointed a light to the nations (Is. 49:6).

7. Netanyahu says Trump is Israelā€™s greatest friend

Netanyahu calls Trump the ā€œgreatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House,ā€ stating, ā€œWe are both committed to rolling back Iranā€™s aggression in the region and ensuring that Iran never develops a nuclear weapon.ā€ He then spoke about Israelā€™s ongoing war with Hamas, Hezbollah and other terror entities funded by Iran. ā€œIsrael will end the war by winning the war. Israel’s victory will be America’s victory. With your leadership, Mr. President, and our partnership, I believe that we will forge a brilliant future for our region and bring our great alliance to even greater heights.ā€

I will go before you And make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places,
That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel. For Jacob My servantā€™s sake,
And Israel My elect, I have even called you by your name;
I have named you, though you have not known Me (Is. 45:2-4)

Maker of Heaven and earth, You have appointed Donald J. Trump for such a time as this, causing many in the Body of Messiah to see him as a Cyrus. We declare these words today over Trump ā€“ that he would know that he is called for the sake of Your servant Jacob, Israel Your elect. Although he is the elected leader of this nation, You have raised him up strategically to support Israel and defend Your people at this time in history when many nations hate Your chosen people and desire to remove them from their land. Strengthen Trump, and our alliance with Israel, while allowing Benjamin Netanyahu to trust in You alone and not in chariots, horses, princes or man (Ps. 118:8; Ps. 20:7). For Your glory defeat Israelā€™s enemies and let the whole earth know that there is a God in Israel (1 Sam. 17:46).

Father, we have the assurance that as we pray Your word, You hear us and act. We bring all of these petitions in the name of Your son, Jesus, the Messiah. Amen.

I assert the greatest approval and praise these IFA prayers for Americaā€™s approval and confirmation from the Lord for the future of the Holy Land and fulfillment of Godā€™s promises in Scripture to the Israelites. Though I am not one of the Chosen People of the Old Testament, I am one of the Gentiles included in Godā€™s family. I thank God for adopting me.

Having been an English teacher brought up during the days of proper grammar, I have a copy editorā€™s suggestion for a better way to pray ā€œlet the whole world know that there is ā€˜a God in Israel.ā€™ā€ It would be both theologically and grammatically correct to say ā€œGod is sovereign in Israel and in the whole world.ā€

The meeting President Trump had with Israelā€™s Prime Minister was the best event to take place. COMMUNICATION! COMMUNICATION without emotional flair ups is what resolves issues. It enhances understanding and honesty and making good decisions. It says in Proverbs 11:14&15; where there is no guidance, the people fall, but in the abundance of counselors, there is victory. Itā€™s important for world leaders to address matters on the table for the progress of humanity.

Lord God we pray for Israel. They have been so burdened with
the horrible catastrophe on October 7th. President Trump has an
idea to make the Gaza Strip a safer and better place. He has a vision
and a plan that PM Netanyahu is listening too. We are so thankful
that President Trump loves Israel and it’s people. Those who bless
Israel will be blessed, those who curse Israel will be cursed. If it’s your
will, let President Trump’s idea come to fruition like everything else he
does. He’s also going to be the first sitting President to go to the
Superbowl!! God protect him with Angels and security. In Jesus name. Amen….

My suggestion is that the state department oversee this operation and allow independent contractors from the region who speak the language to clear out all the rubble possibly save some for repurposing and rebuild. No US troops except possibly the National Guard should be involved and they could hire the Palestinians

Thank you for your insights, but respectfully, old testament Scripture does not apply in this context. All of those verses reference descendants of Jacob who honor the name of Yahweh. We must not continually assume that He is pleased with the current occupants of Israel. Are they really righteous in His sight, when precious few even reverence Him? In reality, the majority are secularists who live quite oblivious to His existence. Even so, in this age throughout the world, we are under a new covenant, in which only those regenerated by Yeshua are His chosen ones today. We can prayerfully and financially support Messianic ministries in the Holy Land – so they will help its people of very mixed heritages find eternal hope.
Let us be so thankful that God has given President Trump a heart of compassion for both the people of Gaza and Iran. Those families certainly deserve to live in freedom and safety, ultimately to discover the only Living God, Yeshua HaMashiach – our Prince of Peace!

    Contingencies of God’s Truly Chosen:
    * Yahweh to Abram: “I will make you into a great nation…I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse…” Genesis 12:2-3
    * Yahweh to Moses/Israelites: “Now IF you obey me fullyĀ and keep my covenant,Ā then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.” – Exodus 19:5
    * “All the nations will ask: ‘Why does theĀ LORD have this fierce, burning anger?…It is because the people abandoned His covenant…Ā in great wrathĀ theĀ LORDĀ uprootedĀ them from their land and thrust them into another… TheĀ LORD will again delightĀ in you and make you prosperousĀ IF you obey His commands…ā€ – Deuteronomy 29:24-28 & 30:9-10
    * Jesus to Jewish leaders: “IF you do not believe that I am He, you will indeed die in your sins.ā€ – John 8:24
    * “Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the Gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.” – Galatians 3:8
    * “Unbelievers stumble because they disobey the message…But you are a chosen people,Ā a royal priesthood,Ā a holy nation,Ā Godā€™s special possession,Ā that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.” – 1 Peter 2:8-9

To break a covenant means that the party guilty of breaking it suffers a penalty – which Israel has experienced several times over. It does not mean that the covenant is ended. The only parties guilty of covenant breaking in Scripture were people, not YHVH – never YHVH. Jer. 33:20-26 makes it clear that YHVH is not a covenant breaker. It would not be a good thing, even if it were possible, because if He could, then the Renewed Covenant in Yeshua would not be secure. When God says everlasting, as in Isa. 55:3, Isa. 61:8, Jer. 32:40, Ezek. 16:60, Ezek. 37:26, etc. He means everlasting. Romans 9-11 also emphasizes that the Renewed Covenant is with Israel, they are the natural branches – Gentiles are grafted into the covenant made with Israel. Ephesians 2 makes it clear that Gentiles have no covenant with YHVH – we are foreigners that must be grafted into the covenant made with the houses of Israel and Judah – all 12 tribes – as outlined in Jer. 31. Why would you want to trust and serve a “God” that commits the very sin that He condemns – adultery and divorce? Remember that Hosea’s wife was an adulteress, but he was called to be faithful to her, picturing YHVH’s faithfulness to Israel, His bride. Finally in Gen. 15-17 it is clear that the Abrahamic Covenant was not a bilateral covenant – phrased as “If you . . . then I will . . .” – with both parties cutting the covenant. It was a unilateral covenant – phrased as “I will . . . – for YHVH alone walked between the carcasses prepared by Abraham. That covenant was to give the land to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
We as the body of Christ have not replaced Israel in the covenants made by YHVH with them – we instead have been grafted into spiritual Israel, the natural branches who have been grafted back into the natural olive tree through faith in their Messiah Yeshua – one new man. The Hebrew people are in the process as natural Israel of being regathered in the land, and seeing the fulfillment of the Abrahamic covenant in our day. They are not only experiencing Ezekiel’s vision of the dry bones come to pass in the re-establishment of the nation of Israel, but will also experience a spiritual fulfillment as more and more embrace their Messiah and come to new life in Him.
Replacement theology is not doctrinally or Biblically sound.

      Truth4Him
      February 7, 2025

Clarification: There is no implication in my post that Yahweh has broken a covenant. His repeated use of the word IF is clearly revealing the contingency of Israel’s honor and obedience to Him. No amount of Scripture gymnastics and misappropriation can demonstrate otherwise. We can certainly agree that Christians are in essence grafted into the vine of His original chosen people. However, Yeshua made it clear that the new covenant demands that both Jews, Gentiles, and modern hybrids be spiritually born again – which incidently, is best demonstrated by love for enemies. So respectfully therefore, your term Replacement Theology is absolutely Biblical and crucial to comprehend. May the Lord bless and guide you into all Truth by His Holy Spirit. Shalom!

Mr. Trump keeps making statements regarding expanding the US interests world-wide. eg. taking over Greenland, annexing Canada, taking over Gaza. He needs to remember that he is the US president, not the world president. MAGA is a plenty large job to keep him busy for more than the 4 years in office he has. Forget these other grandiose ideas and focus on the job at hand.

The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but those things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deuteronomy 29:29).
Rom 15:13 AMPC ā€œMay God, the source of hope so fill you with all joy and peace in believing through faith, that you may abound and be overflowing with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Who in this world has an absolute handle on the mysteries of God! I certainly donā€™t! No one does! Our Lord gives much hope, much reinforcement through grace, and Holy Spirit power to HOPE & rejoice in these new developments in America and Israel. This article and the verses mentioned give me extreme hope that the Lord our God is moving mightily throughout the earth. The outcomes, expectations of men are not necessarily His outcomes. And in that we have profound hope! Faith through hope in believing (Rom 15:13 a) fuels our hope in Him, not men, nations or the world. God is on the move! The saints are praying mightily and ā€œHe answerā€™s our prayers because we trust Him.ā€ (Chron 5:20). Trust Him in this time and we will indeed witness His will and His Kingdom on earth. And praise His great name.
I say all this because it saddens and grieves me to read some of the negative responses in these comments. Yes, we should be thrilled ā€¦ and hopeful in our God. No, Satan ā€¦. has no say, control or power in what God is doing, ever! Such a notion is laughable and even He who sits in the heavens laughs. Ps 2.
Hope in His outcome, let hope in Him always be your expectation. Then you will have a reason to be thrilled, ā€¦ to rejoice and be at peace. (Rom 15:13a)

Lori, I stand in agreement with your prayer points. Lord, I pray that those who oppose Your divine plan for the middle east, especially Israel, as You have revealed it Your Word, would realize their sin and repent before You – so that You can forgive them and grant them revelation understanding of Your plan.
One of the “Words” regarding Gaza in Zechariah 9:7 says, “But the surviving remnant will belong to our God; it will be like a clan in Y’hudah (Judah) . . .” This can only come to pass if there is a drastic change in who inhabits Gaza. 1) The people themselves must change and become lovers of Israel, which could be accomplished as they reject Islam and embrace Yeshua as Messiah. 2) The people who have lived there are removed or destroyed and replaced by those who love Israel. 3) The people who live there are loyal Israelites. I can see any of these scenarios, or a combination of them, accomplishing God’s stated purpose in Zech. 9. But it cannot happen with the vast majority of Gaza’s current inhabitants remaining “as is”. So YHVH, I ask that You change them, or change them. For those who are willing to bow to the Lordship of Yeshua and respond to the Gospel in repentance, “change” them through Your transforming grace and mercy and join them, graft them into spiritual Israel. Or remove and replace them, and thus “change” the inhabitants. Or restore the land. given to Israel as a permanent lease-hold in the Abrahamic Covenant and reinstated to Isaac and Jacob, to Israel. Bring it about as You have promised, in Your time and in Your way, Lord.

Thank you Lori for this article. It is very well written.
These “Palestinian people are a very tormented people.
Historically, the land does belong to Israel, as God told his people. The people however are a motley group that have grown up there, been resettled there and so on. As I’ve read some came from Egypt from the group that caused revolution decades ago. Some came from Syria,Jordan and Lebanon. I believe that is why the Arab nations don’t want to take them in. They have been further radicalized by the PLO and Hamas, UNWRA etc. who have used this area as a place from which to irritate and terrorize. Good intentions originally with the UN only have further corrupted things.

The people have had few choices to live safely and peacefully.
I like Trumps ideas, as usual thinking out of the box. Something must be done to end this mess and it will take the whole Eastern Mediterranean area to come together with God’s intercession.
Lord I pray for your intervention to finally end the current conflict. Send your angels to minister to the women and children who are suffering. Grant them a peace that many of them have never known. Jesus show them that “man in white” in their dreams and visions.
May some in other countries catch President Trumps vision and ideas to look for a new way to end this unending conflict.
Amen

His Word does not return void and guides and quiets our hearts and minds. Also thankful for Spirit to make perfect our fears, worries and off target prayers in a time of light speed changes!
Poppa G*dā€™s plan prevails which is a comfort to me, that I cling to, even when the earth shakes, we, His children, can be unshaken!
Come LORD!

I was so thrilled. To see the wide smile on Netanyahu’s face and looking at peace, The honor and respect in which he was received. Also watching the leaders surrounding President Trump greet the Prime Minister with the same honor and respect was such a balm. HE who blesses Israel is blessed. May nothing come to break this bond and this honor

Heavenly Father, in Jesus Name I pray that President Trump will do his homework. You Oh LORD gave Israel land and set boundaries. Ariel Sharon gave Gaza to Israel’s enemies, Hamas. The damage has been done. ABBA, this land belongs to the Jews. Please bring it to President Trump’s attention. PM Netanyahu knows this, may he educate our President regarding Your decisions on the land You gave to Israel. Only You LORD can change the hearts of man. No compromising on the land.

    Yes.
Israel did give control of Gaza to the people 2 decades ago. The people chose hamxs to lead and hamxs embezzeled aid money meant for the people, but they used it to cripple the nation and people by building tunnels right under homes, hospitals and schools and bombs. Then hamxs started a war, again, that they lost.
So, technically, according to international law, Israel could legally take Gaza and rebuild.
Trumpā€™s Riviera talk I believe is bluster, to get reasonable Arabs to wake up, come to the table and work for a real peace plan. Our Poppa G*d soOo works in mysterious ways and uses anyone He choses.

Trump shall not build any structure in Gaza; This is my word. We are in these last days, and we in the USA have but a window of opportunity to serve the Lord and share our faith in Christ. Catastrophic trouble is nearing, and will soon overtake us.

Amos 1:6 Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

Amos 1:7 But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

Zephaniah 2:4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

Zechariah 9:5 Ashkelon shall see it, and fear; Gaza also shall see it, and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

I believe G*dā€™s word over any other manā€™s, so I agree with you., especially given Zechariah 9:5.
I would like to see a clean up, of unexplored bombs and booby traps, but not on Americaā€™s dime. And only peace lovers to be there.

…continuing on in Zephania 2 that you reference: The coast shall be for the remnant of the house of Judah; they shall feed their flocks there; in the houses of Ashkelon, they shall lie down at evening. For the Lord their God will intervene for them and return their captives.
(Just north of Gaza, the foretelling regarding Ashkelon began to be fulfilled in 1957 by South African Jews.) (Gaza, originally part of Juda’s inheritance)
As a watchman, I share in your caution and concern, but the Lord may fulfilling something in a way previously unthought of – if something gets built that eventually ends up in Isrrael’s possession.

It is hard to know what Netanyahu thinks. However, it is understandable that daily rockets became reason for Israel to say, Enough is enough. The Gaza residents stubbornly continued. They refused common sense, wisdom and practical thought, possibly because others of Muslim jihad ambitions influenced them to believe for Allah’s approval and provided wealth as they pretend bombed Israel daily for years with real bombs. They believed there was divine approval upon them for these actions.
Perhaps the CIA, financed them through USAID, or the NGOs, and influenced these naive children God made in His image. Were they not noble in some ways, though not well informed, to stubbornly cling to the true God, as they saw it? Perhaps God would prize that level of zeal for Himself from them.
They will be saved now, perhaps. They were naively exploited, probably, but in the case of people so murderously zealous for only Allah, only God Himself could have explained it clearly to them. For they were fervently loyal to Allah. Dear Father, please explain to all of the world and especially the Muslims where You are different from some things they are presuming. We know You love all the world. John 3:16 Thank You for so many reports of dreams, visions and direct contact You have made with people of the Middle East who then realize and are saved by Jesus.

Wow! Thank you, Lord for giving Trump wisdom and I pray that he will never again try to divide the land of Israel. I pray that other countries in the Middle East will cooperate and offer homes to those living in Gaza so that they can live happily. I pray for a win-win situation for everyone involved in this. We pray that Iran will not acquire nuclear weapons. I pray that Trump will not ‘acquire’ Gaza for the U S. but it will still be part of the land of Israel and they will make it a jewel in the Middle East. I pray that You’d bring great change. Thank you for out of the box thinking. Your will be done.

Great article. Thank you for giving more information than the news articles that I found. Thank you for quoting scripture and offering prayers to pray in agreement over President Trump.
God is answering all our prayers very quickly and powerfully. He is uprooting the wicked and planting His righteousness. We must abide in the Lord in order to hear His heart and do as He commands. Now more than ever, prayers for Godly wisdom are being offered on behalf of President Trump. May his heart remain sensitive to the Lord’s voice and do what the Lord desires and not do things that seem right to man. Scripture says that there is a way that seems right to a man but only leads to death (Proverbs 14:12).
May President Trump not trust in what appears to be good in man’s wisdom. May President Trump’s ear be tuned into the Holy Spirit and do what is right in God’s eyes.
I am truly grateful to the Lord for what He is doing and how quickly He is doing it! All praise, glory and honor be to our Lord Jesus forever!

The only thing I would add about my thoughts was ā€œHow much will this cost?ā€ I doubt Congressman Thomas Massie, who I greatly admire, will be happy about this. If America will ā€œownā€ the Gaza territory while rebuilding, will Israel still fund the reconstruction and redevelopment of the area and if so, to what extent? Pardon me if these questions have been answered already. I havenā€™t seen that info yet.

Excellent report.
Thank you.
With reference to Cyrus, at the conclusion of the amazing passages describing what the Lord is going to do in and through Cyrus, the Lord states in Isaiah 45:13: I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; he shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward, says the Lord of hosts.
Lord, praying that in return for all that President Trump is doing to benefit the apple of Your eye, Israel – and possibly, at the insistence of it being including in deals with Jordan, Saudi Arabia or others, that President Trump does not do so at the price of Palestinian statehood in Judea and Samarria, but rather states that it is up to Israel to decide what to do with her land inheritance from You.

I was happy to see so much support for Israel from President Trump, but then when he said the USA would own Israel, I thought no..this is Godā€™s land for Israel and you cannot divide the land! So my prayer is that God would work in President Trumps heart to understand that and that he would be given wisdom for another solution. There are those that say it was just a talking point to get others to come up with a solution. I pray that is true.

When I hear ā€œown itā€ an old job comes to mind. Management said, if a customer comes to you with a problem, you own it! (take care of it, donā€™t drop it or give it to someone else). He gave us authority to deal with it, even it cost the company money. As long as the customer was happy etc.

Lord, you know the perfect solution. for the people living in Gaza, for their welfare and hope. Thank you for binding the Hamas stronghold. By your power complete the dismantling of the jihadist regime for the protection of Israel. Thank you for giving solutions to all problematic issues, for past history shows this group called Palestinians has angered and disrupted every nation that took them in. None of the Arab nations are willing to take them again. Only you, Lord, know the solution. We pray your blood bought solution to bring safety and hope for all people. Amen

The Jews have no more right to Palestine than the Welsh to England, or the American Indians to the United States.
Christians have sympathised with the state of Israel, because the Bible speaks of King David and the glory of Solomon.
However, the Bible states clearly that the Jews, who were prepared to receive the Messiah,, betrayed Jesus to the Romans, to be crucified.
Christians are now the chosen people, who have the serious responsibility of preparing for the Lord’s return..

All throughout the Old Testament and Romans 11 it is very clear God gave Israel the land. In Deuteronomy God gives the specific layout of the land.
    It is an UNconditional covenant!

The regathering of Israel as a nation is straight out of Ezekiel 37.

    Isaiah 53
ā€œIT PLEASED THE FATHER TO BRUISE THE SON!ā€

Jesus says ā€œI lay down my life!ā€

Id CONTEND THAT POINTā€¦. The Bible is very clear where the Jews went after Egypt and where their heritage lies. The Palestinians were nomads and not a solidified countryā€¦ a migrating tribe, very much like the American Indians.

    3
      Elizabeth N McFarland
      February 6, 2025

You need to restudy American Indians, as you are totally incorrect is stating that American Indians were all nomads. The Cherokee, Creek, Seminole and many others were not and did not move until force either by other tribes that followed the movement of the wildlife they depended on to feed and cloth them or those that invaded from England came to our country. Yet too many tribes were forced off their lands. The people in the Gaza strip did originate from nomadic areas of the middle east but you can not compare them to the Native Americans as a whole as that is totally incorrect. That land was given to Israel by God, to that there is no dispute.

For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mysteryā ā€”so that you will not be wise in your own estimationā ā€”that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written,
ā€œThe Deliverer will come from Zion,
He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.ā€
ā€œThis is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.ā€
From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of Godā€™s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. For God has shut up all in disobedience so that He may show mercy to all. Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to him again?

I have the comments that “Christians are now the chosen people.”
In Dec 2023 a Turkish lawmaker was giving a speech. In the speech he criticized Israel. Moments later he has a heart attack. He died a couple days later.
After the death of this Turkish lawmaker I am thinking Israel is still God’s chosen people. I understand that a lot of the people in Israel are not Christians. But yet this Turkish lawmaker died. I’m praying for understanding of this.

What foolishness you speak, the Wales people are from Wales, not England proper and it is their land, American Indians have more right to the U.S. than any other race, and God gave the land you call Palestine to Israel. What God gave to Israel is not to be divided as stated in Gods word. Saying it does not belong to Israel is an argument you will lose with God.
