As chaotic scenes unfolded outside the courthouse in lower Manhattan, including an appearance from actor and Biden campaign surrogate Robert De Niro, Trump’s defense team and District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s prosecutors summed up their respective arguments, both of which focused heavily on the credibility of Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer and fixer.
Cohen testified for the prosecution earlier this month, explaining that he orchestrated a series of hush-money payments to women with whom Trump had sexual encounters, including former Playboy model Karen McDougal and porn star Stormy Daniels. The disbarred former lawyer testified that Trump had approved a $130,000 payment to Daniels during the 2016 campaign in order to protect his political career from unsavory stories about his alleged dalliance with a porn star.
The defense team sought to divert jurors’ attention from Trump’s sexual scandals in closing arguments on Tuesday, insisting instead that they should focus on the underlying allegation: that Trump defrauded the voting public by concealing the hush-money payment through the falsification of business records. …

What happened to yesterday’s broadcast for May 30, 2024? I can’t find it anywhere including Rumble,? I was unable to watch the broadcast when it was on because I had to be somewhere else. I thought I could watch the reply later on only find that it wasn’t there. I’m so disappointed 😞

These trials are ridiculous! The Clinton’s killed more people in their reign than any other presidency. They also sold uranium to our enemies. Obama turned over millions of dollars to the number one terrorist country in the world!! When my divorce took more than ten years, I was feeling down and falling into negative thinking. However, one of my libertarian friends reminded me that while we have rules and regulations, we don’t always have justice. Initially, this was hard to accept, but after the indictment of the previous U.S. president, I understood her point.
If I’m honest, I feel fortunate because I immigrated to this country in my thirties without knowing what I know now. The lengthy divorce process forced me to educate myself. I spent countless hours in court, observing hearings, studying cases in the court library, and interacting with court staff and attorneys, who often assumed I was a lawyer.
I didn’t expect to encounter what I did, but I’m not in denial. Pursuing a master’s degree in accounting with a focus on fraud has completely changed my perspective. It’s disheartening to witness the United States, a country I love, turning into a place where justice isn’t served to its citizens.
I remember the Vietnamese refugee judge during my last divorce hearing. He said he had no compassion for me and didn’t let me explain that I wasn’t crying for myself but for the United States, a nation founded on biblical principles that has strayed far from its roots.
I also reflected on a teaching I heard from a wise, godly Bible teacher: “In a Christian’s heart, there’s one cross and one throne. When you’re on the throne, Jesus is on the cross, and vice versa. You have the free will to choose.” I’m grateful I let God choose and replace my desires with His. With His grace, I can bear the cross.
In conclusion, I am reminded of Romans 8:28: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” This verse reassures me that, even in difficult times, God has a plan for me. By trusting in His wisdom and allowing Him to lead, I find strength and peace, knowing that everything will ultimately work out for good.
Dear Lord, I pray for peace for all the trump supporters right now, and when he gets sentenced in July.
He has been found guilty of election interference in the 2016 election.
He was never a legitimate president. He cheated to win.

There is nothing there to convict anyone as I understand this was all politically motivated and Biggs is trying to make a case out of nothing! Now if indeed Trump has sex with anyone of the women and he had his lawyer to pay. I think that would involve a third party and this would open the door for gossip!!

A hung jury would be the best and only solution. Neither here nor there. They can’t fight it. It may help in future cases, and free him up somewhat. Pray for that, God willing.
I don’t know if Trump is guilty of adultery or not. God knows. I know that is not a crime and this trial should never have been brought. God gives us the leaders we deserve. My comment is: He who is without sin, cast the 1st stone. Can you show me one person who has not sinned? Only the Son of God-Jesus the Christ. They said they could be unbiased; may we see that now as they make a decision based on truth, not lies, and not on what their families and friends might say.
