I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray for a cleaner, safer capital for our nation. We ask You to protect D.C. and to give our leaders wisdom as they work on restoring this city.

On Wednesday, President Trump floated the idea of deploying the National Guard in Washington, D.C., in order to crack down on violent crime.

Find out when your state prays.

From The Daily Wire:

The commander in chief, who deployed National Guard troops to Los Angeles earlier this year in response to anti-ICE riots, made the comment at the White House after a reporter asked if he was considering taking over the police in D.C.

“We’re considering it, yeah, because the crime is ridiculous,” Trump said, adding later that his plan may include “bringing in the National Guard, maybe, very quickly, too.”

Trump reiterated his interest in federalizing D.C. in addition to talking about his desire to clean up the nation’s capital with projects such as removing graffiti and fixing up roads.

The move comes after Ed Coristine, a government staffer who formerly worked with Elon Musk in the Department of Government Efficiency, was assaulted earlier this week in an attempted carjacking in D.C. President Trump referenced Coristine when responding to the reporter in the White House. On Tuesday, he shared a picture of the staffer on Truth Social, warning D.C. of federalization if the city doesn’t control its violent crime.

While some have voiced support for President Trump’s suggestions, others are vehemently opposed. Eleanor Holmes Norton, a Democrat who serves as the capital’s non-voting delegate in the House, said that the President has “no authority to unilaterally take control of DC.” That authority, she insisted lies with Congress.

The Daily Wire notes, however, that many Republican lawmakers have voiced interest in revoking the rule that allows for the capital’s self-governance.

Let’s pray for President Trump, our lawmakers, and the current governing authorities in charge of D.C. Let’s pray that they would make our nation’s capital into a safe and clean city that honors America!

If DC cannot control itself then the “grownups” need to take charge. It’s time that we clean up our whole nation and make it Godly again (MAGA). Thanks be to God that He is leading our nation back to complete righteousness through the leadership and anointing of President Trump, Faith Committee, Cabinet Secretaries, etc. May the church continue to rise up like never before. In Jesus name. Amen.

Let the courts of heaven rule over the nation’s capital. And revival start there and spread to the rest of the USA. In Jesus’ name.

Father, I pray that you would clean up Washington DC. May your Holy Spirit hover over that city and bring righteousness and peace. May it become a glory to you rather than a place of violence and misery. Give the leaders repentance for allowing the crime to go on. If they will not repent and begin to bring peace to the city, replace them. I pray for President Trump’s wisdom in dealing with the city. Give Congress wisdom in dealing with the situation in Washington DC. May the Christians rise up and pray as never before. May we all pray for that city to your glory.
