On Monday, President Trump, flanked by high-ranking officials in his administration, announced a federal takeover of Washington, D.C., aiming to “rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam, and squalor, and worse.”

Trump on Monday invoked Section 740 of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act and declared a public emergency. This granted him to move the D.C. Police Department under the control of the Justice Department. DEA Administrator Terry Cole will head the department, per Trump’s orders.

The president also added that he was sending 800 National Guard troops to patrol the streets of D.C. Last week, the administration sent 500 federal agents into the district, including from the FBI, ATF, DEA, Park Police, the U.S. Marshal Service, the Secret Service, and the Department of Homeland Security.
“The murder rate in Washington today is higher than that of Bogota, Colombia, Mexico City, some of the places that you hear about as being the worst places on earth,” Trump said, adding that “the only language” that criminals understand is when you “knock the hell out of them.”
The President called Monday “Liberation Day in D.C.” as he announced “a historic action to rescue our nation’s capital from crime, bloodshed, bedlam, and squalor, and worse,” per The Daily Wire.
President Trump’s flurry of executive actions follows an incident last week in which an administration staffer was assaulted in Washington, D.C. The President on Wednesday floated the idea of deploying the National Guard to get crime under control in the nation’s capital. Now he has put that idea into action.
The Daily Wire also notes that the President is calling on Republicans in Congress to take additional action. He has expressed a desire to see lawmakers end cashless bail in the district, and he and his administration plan to crack down on homeless encampments as well.
For years, intercessors have prayed for a cleaner, safer capital. Now, President Trump is seeking to create just that. Let’s pray for him, his administration, and the National Guard as they work to restore order in D.C.!

This is a little spooky. And I’m sure this will be described by many as the actions of a dictator. I can’t see this working long term and will pray that this will not lead to more chaos. God have mercy on us.
The scum that has been allowed to create bloodshed, bedlam, and squalor, and worse in Washington DC must be terminated now.
What President Trump is doing is the right thing to do and must continue to do to bring law and order to Washington DC.
Lord, may those who have been perpetrating the crimes get the help they need and turn their hearts toward you. We do not know their stories or what has driven them to the streets of DC. Teach us to love and forgive. I ask for justice for all involved. Send your angels to protect the national guard and give them wisdom.

The Mayor in Washington is part of the crime Problem. Then District Of Columbia must be taken over and changed to reflect security, and lawfulness. Right now it is a snake pit, infested by organized crime controlled by Democrats. and global spy networks. Sex, Drugs, and Murder. Let us cleans that city, or move the White House to Kansas City, Kansas or Some place in the middle of the United States away from the shore line. In our town of Indianapolis the black teens are now armed with guns killing about a dozen people a week. with a Democrat Mayor Hogsett. When they get caught, they are released in a couple of years from jail to murder again making a human life worthless. If people murder with guns they should be executed with guns. I don’t care how young they are. It the age of accountability. how ever old that is. Maybe 4years old. It’s that age when they know it wrong to run around naked. and if after that they murder someone with a gun they should be executed with a gun, if they are guilty, then within 30 days they should be swiftly executed.

I think president Trump is doing the correct actions, we just can’t have criminals running our country and destroying our cities and victimizing our people, these criminals need to be in jail so the normal citizens can thrive, progress, do their jobs, their kids can go to school in safety the teens could study and learn proper behaviors from their elders go to school and reach their personal goals, get jobs, make industres,, create art, music, the elders couls be able to go shopping in fredom, elders can chat with each other without getting worried of who might enter their home and rob them. Glory to God!,thank you Lord for a president that cares for what’s happening in our nation! Godly believers stand with prayer against the assault of the American public. Decency has to be fought for, against all unrighteousness. Violence is not a way of life. With the level of crime in our capital, I’m surprised that there are any tourists, or foreign diplomats, or much of anyone who wants to be there. YHVH, please make this move to federalize our capital effective in bringing law and order. Please protect the National Guard, and all law enforcement officers and first responders. Please stir Congress to enact necessary legislation, like cashless bail being ended, quickly. The homeless are not an easy problem to solve, so please grant wisdom and discernment to those tasked with addressing the issue. How we need Your intervention!
I personally think that Donald Trump is an exceptional leader not for just America but for all of the countries in the world. I would love to see the Congress pass a law that none of the illegals are allowed American Citizenship. The industrial parks in Valencia California are loaded with illegals. I know that for a fact. I used to work for one company that refurbished Commercial Airlines Interiors which were off of highway 126 and Interstate five in Valencia California. I would venture to say that at least 35% of the company were illegal aliens. I would venture to say that the majority of the companies in Valencia California’s Industrial parks are loaded with Illegal Aliens. Foot Hill Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley has many companies that also has many illegal aliens working there.
