Tuesday, October 14, would have been Charlie Kirk’s thirty-second birthday. And, in honor of his late friend, President Trump awarded the slain conservative the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Friends of Kirk gathered Tuesday at the White House in the Rose Garden, newly renovated by the president, to honor Kirk’s memory and to recognize him for his patriotic contributions to the United States of America. Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow, was present and emotional at the event, as were many members of the Turning Point USA organization.

The president spoke first as Erika Kirk stood by.
“Five weeks ago, our nation was robbed of this extraordinary champion. He was a champion in every way — I got to know him so well,” President Trump said. “It was a horrible, heinous, demonic act of murder. He was assassinated in the prime of his life for boldly speaking the truth, for living his faith, and relentlessly fighting for a better and stronger America. He loved this country, and that’s why this afternoon, it’s my privilege to posthumously award Charles James Kirk our nation’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.”
The Presidential Medal of Freedom, originally just called the Medal of Freedom, was created by President Harry Truman in 1945. According to Executive Order 11085, it can be give to “any person who has made an especially meritorious contribution to (1) the security or national interests of the United States, or (2) world peace, or (3) cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.”
Erika Kirk also spoke, emphasizing her late husband’s love for freedom. “The blessings of liberty are not man’s invention, they are God’s endowment. Charlie lived for those blessings, not as abstract words, but as sacred promises,” she said.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10. Though his death was tragic, it has led to a massive awakening among younger Americans.
Let’s thank God for the life of Charlie Kirk, and let’s pray that He will raise up more bold believers to follow in his footsteps!

Charlie Kirk couldn’t have married a more wonderful woman. Erika did an excellent job receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom recently on Charlie’s behalf. Her speech was full of truth and delivered with grace and love. I’m super proud of her and pray for her daily. Heavenly Father, please raise up more young men to pass the baton of boldly sharing the love of Christ and the salvation He offers to all who call on the Name of the Lord. In Jesus most powerful name. Amen. There is no other name by which man can be saved.
I think this is appalling. He was as ignorant of so many things. His wife is phony and reaping all the sympathy and cashing in on her husband’s death.
Trump continues to prove he is a racist, chauvinist slob.

It is interesting that IFA has no report on the Young Republicans racist chat, glorifying Hitler, celebrating rape, wishing that their political opponents would be gassed. Or, on J.D. Vance’s comment that this is just what young people do. What would be the response if Young Democrats were found simply making hateful comments about Republicans, let alone racist comments, wishing death. Shameful. Also still no report on the Tom Homan bribe. Interesting that when it is a Democrat that is accused of something with no evidence, we still pray that the truth would be revealed. It is sad to see your Christian brothers and sisters stray so far from the truth to pledge allegiance to a fallen, sinful, corrupt political movement.

Also, you did not include the rest of what J.D. Vance said about those young republicans. Nor that The Young Republican National Federation, the GOP’s political organization for Republicans between 18 and 40, called for those involved to step down from the organization. The group described the exchanges as “unbecoming of any Republican”.
Young and old democrats make hateful, death threats 24/7 which is partly why our country is in the situation it is right now. Politicians (Attorney Generals) should not be threatening to kill their opponents either like in Virginia and should be forced to step down. But they are not. No political figure should engage in such rhetoric, Period.
Further more, there is no evidence that Tom Homan accepted any bribes but you report this as fact. Shame on you.
I, personally, pledge allegiance to my Lord and Savior and not to a political party. But I do wholeheartedly support this presidency because it is righting the wrongs committed by the previous administration even while the opposing party (Democrats) are obstructing and spitting on our Constitution. They are the true insurrectionists and must be stop.

Yes, maybe we don’t know for sure what happened but it sure seems like there is a cover up, which is why we don’t know, but it is still worth reporting. IFA reports on all kinds of baseless claims against Democrats and prays that the truth come out. So if they were impartial, they’d at least report on Homan, even if to say, it is just an allegation. But they won’t do this because this site is wholly biased. The corruption in this administration is so deep that you have to deliberately reconstruct truth to support what they are doing. It is sad to see Christian brothers and sisters so taken in and willing to pledge allegiance to a corrupt, sinful political movement. I reported it soon after it went up, it remains up 3 days later. Not one person writes that it is inappropriate for a Christian website. If someone wrote about someone making a comment in support of Trump that they were a ‘fascist clown,’ the comment would be reported, taken down, people would call it out. Jesus calls us to treat all equally, to have the same moral standard to evaluate all. The hypocrisy could not be more clear. Shameful and disgraceful.

Shannon, all men and women fall short of the glory of God. We are all sinners. I encourage you to leave comments that build others up and not tear down. Divisiveness messages are hurtful. I prayed for you. I hope you come to know the deep love God has for you through the death of His Son, JESUS, and be forever changed. God loves Shannon P. How do I know this? The Bible tells me so. John 3:16. “For God so loved Shannon, that He gave His one and only Son. that if Shannon believes in Him, she will have everlasting life.”

That is such a good question Sunny! As we fill our mind with God’s word and truly understand what forgiveness of sins, God’s love, His mercy, and His power look like we are able to quickly recognize the spirit which opposes it. An accusing spirit comes at people with no love and a tone of condemnation.
Hallmarks of this spirit are pretty easy to recognize once you have seen one in operation. It points to your failure (at whatever), it tells you your heart is not right with God, and basically screams that you are not good enough. Think accusing spirit – think Pharisees. Matthew 23:4 The accusing spirit is an anti-Christ spirit because it writes off the work of Christ and the shed blood of Jesus. Remedy: recognize, cast down, renew our mind. Blessings from MO.
Within 3 hours of Charlie’s assassination, I wrote a friend in PA……….”The killer has no clue as to what he just did………thinking that Charlie’s death would stop the movement…………he awakened a sleeping giant! TPUSA is growing now at an unprecedented rate world wide! My prayer for Erika are God’s words in Jeremiah 29:11-13.

Father we thank you for your Spirit that guided Charlie and still guides Erika and so many that want to carry out your love and your word. Continue to let your flame burn with all Christians who follow Jesus.. we asked that your Holy Spirit would protect us for your namesake, and it is in Jesus name I pray! Amen
This is one of those times where God’s way are not our ways is difficult to understand. But I know that God will take this tragic end of such a meaningful and young life and turn it into something beautiful for His kingdom. Praying to that end, praying for the Kirk family, and praying for America as we boldly face the evil that has reared it’s ugly head. May we be victorious in the power of the most high God.
Giving Erika Kirk this award in honor of her late husband was a very moving and important gesture by President Trump. The overriding issue, of course, is the spirits of violence and assassination in our nation. I bind ALL evil spirits behind the terrible violence in our nation in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I loose a spirit of kindness and respect for human life in place of these spirits. Thank you Jesus.

Colvena, I can agree with everything you said, except the statement about “angel guide”. No human being who has graduated to their heavenly reward acts as a guide to those still living, nor do they become angels. The only guide and instructor we need is Holy Spirit.
