President Trump has delayed tariffs on many Canadian and Mexican goods, claiming it was a “fair thing to do.” These tariffs will reportedly now go into effect on April 2.
From Fox Business. In an effort to provide clarity over his latest tariff negotiations, President Donald Trump explained why he approved another one-month pause on the 25% levy on Canada and Mexico.

“I wanted to help Mexico and Canada to a certain extent. We’re a big, big country, and they do a lot of their business with us, whereas in our case, it’s much less significant. We do very little with Canada by comparison. … April 2nd, it becomes all reciprocal,” Trump told FOX Business’ Maria Bartiromo …
“But this is short-term. And I felt that for the good of the American carmakers and the USMCA… I thought it would be a fair thing to do,” the president continued. …
On Thursday, Trump announced he would exempt most goods from Canada and Mexico covered under the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) from his 25% tariffs for the next month. …
“For years, the globalists, the big globalists, have been ripping off the United States. They’ve been taking money away from the United States. And all we’re doing is getting some of it back, and we’re going to treat our country fairly,” he added. …

I believe penalizing our businesses that outsource, rather than training and doing here, would have a far greater impact than adding the tariffs. However, if they are placing tariffs on our goods, then reciprocal tariffs would be fair

This recent action, which is the second time that President Trump has delayed the implementation of the tariffs, leads me to wonder if he will indeed ever put them into place. What happens in this issue will truly be interesting. Lord Jesus, once again, I come before You, and ask that You will give President Trump guidance, protection, and revelation concerning Your will in this matter. Give him ears to hear what Holy Spirit imparts to him. Thank you Jesus.
Dear Jesus, I don’t understand anything about Tarriffs. But I pray for your wisdom and directions for President Trump as he uses tariffs to strengthen our Economy. May God give President Trump another way, to strengthen the US, thur love mercy, grace, wisdom. I know that most of the leaders in other countries do NOT seek God’s wisdom, help, directions. Which is sad, because they should be putting their people First, and helping them with living . This is why they use Tarriffs, too. So praying for ALL . The Government leaders, dictators, of the world to come to know, obey Jesus, so we can help ALL people. IN Jesus’s name Amen
Please grant wisdom and discernment to President Trump in regard to tariffs on our neighbors, and other nations, Lord. May this be done with an eye to fairness and equity, but to benefit businesses in our nation.
In regard to flight safety around Mar-largo …. Lord, this is clearly intentional, as I see it, and must not go on. With plenty of air space incidents, even recently, we know all pilots are aware of how serious it is.
I rebuke the notion that this interference be tolerated. I denounce the absurd. I call angels to clear the path of all resistance and opposition. Make the way safe, the entire way, and provide the needed space for President Trump and all his family and team to find peace and safety.
Protect those enforcing the laws and providing safety with Your mighty protection. We claim Psalm 91 and 62 for Your children, young and old.
