Lord, we thank You for President Trump's selection of Jeanine Pirro to serve as interim U.S. Attorney for D.C. We ask You to give Judge Pirro wisdom, and we pray she would honor You in this new role.

After pulling his previous choice for U.S. Attorney for D.C., President Trump tapped Judge Jeanine Pirro to serve in the key role. Will she have an easier time getting confirmed that the President’s previous pick?

From Fox News. PresidentĀ Donald TrumpĀ has tapped “The Five” co-host Judge Jeanine Pirro to be the interim U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C.

“I am pleased to announce that Judge Jeanine Pirro will be appointed interim United States Attorney for the District of Columbia,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Thursday. “Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself. Congratulations Jeanine!” …

Pirro served as the assistant district attorney and district attorney in New York’s Westchester County and became the first woman to service as a judge in Westchester County Court. …

Trump also announced on Truth Social that Ed Martin, who was the previous interim U.S. attorney in D.C., will be moving to theĀ Department of Justice as its “Director of the Weaponization Working Group, Associate Deputy Attorney General, and Pardon Attorney.” …

Trump pulled Martin’s nomination for U.S. attorney in D.C. following resistance on Capitol Hill signaling he did not have the votes to be confirmed. …

Judge Pirro is conservative politically and prayerfully she will rule in truth & righteousness, filling her courtroom with the Spirit of God.

I have always respected Judge Pirro. She honors the Constitution and the rule of law. I pray for her safety now that this nomination has been made public. May she see this role as divine promotion from You, and may she give honor to whom honor is due.
